How we rate casinos

CasiReview puts the safety and payout facts for each casino on one page, so you can check a casino in a minute before you deposit. This page explains where those facts come from and how we turn them into a verdict.

Where our data comes from

CasinoGuru Safety Index
A 0–10 score based on the license, the fairness of the terms and conditions, the casino’s size and its record with player complaints. It is our main safety signal.
AskGamblers CasinoRank
An independent score plus details on responsible gambling tools, withdrawal times and support.
Trustpilot
Star rating and number of reviews from real players. Useful as a mood check, but easy to skew, so it never decides the verdict on its own.
The casino’s own terms
Bonus offer, wagering, minimum deposit, payment methods, withdrawal times and restricted countries, taken from the casino and its affiliate program.

Our CasiReview rating out of 5 combines the three sources: CasinoGuru Safety Index counts 60%, AskGamblers 30% and Trustpilot 10%. Trustpilot weighs least because mostly unhappy players post there, which pulls almost every casino down. The combined 0-10 score turns into stars on one fixed scale for every casino: 7.5/10 is about 4 stars, 9/10 about 4.6.

How the verdict is decided

Every review starts with a short answer to “Is this casino legit?”. It is calculated the same way for every casino:

Yes, legit
Licensed, not blacklisted, Safety Index 7.5 or higher and terms rated fair.
Yes, but with caveats
Licensed, but Safety Index between 5 and 7.5 or terms rated unfair. Usually fine to play, but read the bonus rules first.
Proceed with caution
No verifiable license, on a blacklist or Safety Index below 5.

How often we update

Scores and facts are refreshed from the sources above in batches. Every review shows the date of its last update. If a casino changes its bonus or terms, the casino’s site is always the final word.

Data last updated: October 2026

What we do not do

We do not open accounts, deposit or withdraw at the casinos ourselves, and we do not test games with real money. Each review is built from the casino's own terms, the three independent sources above and the complaint records they publish. Where a fact is second-hand, the review names the source. Where we could not confirm something, the review says so instead of guessing.

How we make money

CasiReview earns a commission when you sign up at a casino through our links. This never changes the verdict: the scores come from independent sources and are calculated with the same rules for every casino. Partner casinos also get “with caveats” or “proceed with caution” when the data says so.
