888Starz spreads its casino welcome offer over four deposits: 100% up to €300 with 30 free spins, 50% up to €350 with 35, then two 25% steps up to €400 and €450 with 40 and 45 spins. That adds up to €1,500 and 150 free spins, wagered 35x on the bonus. The max bet, max cashout, game contributions and excluded games are not stated by the review sites. Here is what the official promo pages state and what is missing.
The match rate drops from 100% to 25% while the caps rise
The official English promo page lists four steps, and the Russian page repeats the same percentages and spin counts. The match rate falls as the cap rises, which decides how much you must deposit to get the full amount.
The first step pays out in full with a €300 deposit. The second at 50% needs €700 to reach €350, the third at 25% needs €1,600 to reach €400, and the fourth needs €1,800 to reach €450. The whole €1,500 therefore takes €4,400 of deposits. A €100 deposit at the third step earns only €25 of bonus plus 40 spins.
AskGamblers gives the minimum deposit as €10 for the first step and €15 for the others; the official pages do not state one. The slot for the spins is not stated officially, and review sites disagree on it.
- 1st deposit: 100% up to €300 + 30 free spins
- 2nd deposit: 50% up to €350 + 35 free spins
- 3rd deposit: 25% up to €400 + 40 free spins
- 4th deposit: 25% up to €450 + 45 free spins
- Total: up to €1,500 + 150 free spins, opt-in via account settings
What 35x on the bonus means for a €50 and a €300 first deposit
The Russian rules state wagering of x35, and the English page explains it as the number of times the bonus must be bet: a €100 bonus means €3,500 in bets. AskGamblers records the same 35x on the bonus.
A €50 first deposit brings €50 of bonus and a €1,750 betting target. A €300 first deposit brings the full €300 and €10,500 of bets. All four steps at their caps would require €52,500 of wagering. Without a published max bet we cannot convert that into spins, and no separate rule for free spin winnings was found.
The English page only says bonuses are time-limited, "usually 7 to 30 days". A 7-day window for the casino welcome appears on affiliate pages, not on the official site, so we treat it as unverified. For a €10,500 target, 7 days would mean €1,500 of bets a day; 30 days would mean €350 a day.
Cashback up to 11%, the Sunday 100% and the 8th-deposit offer
Weekly cashback is paid once a week: casino players get up to 11% depending on loyalty status, and sports bettors get 3%, with a minimum of 96 RUB and a maximum of 87,000 RUB. The other recurring offers, as stated on the 888Starz pages:
- Sunday Boom: 100% bonus on a Sunday deposit, no cap or wagering stated
- 8th deposit: 40% bonus + 100 free spins
- Birthday: 20 free spins (the English page offers a free bet worth 10% of the 1st deposit as an alternative)
- Telegram: 88 free spins via a promo code for channel subscribers, wagering not stated
- Aviator Mondays: a €5 Monday deposit for up to 50 free Aviator launches
The Russian page gives percentages only, and the only rouble cap is for sports
The Russian promo page quotes the casino package as "100%, 30 FS; 50%, 35 FS; 25%, 40 FS; 25%, 45 FS" with no rouble cap on any step. The only RUB amount on it belongs to the sports welcome bonus: 100% of the first deposit up to 9,600 RUB, wagered x5 in accumulators of 3 or more events at odds of 1.4 or higher. When we opened the Russian bonus list, it showed the euro caps instead.
The same page also shows a separate line, "Welcome Bonus: 100% up to €100 on the first deposit", without saying which product it belongs to. The cap you get depends on your currency, and the cashier is the only place that shows it.
Country blocks, missing rules and a €5,000 monthly limit
888Starz blocks some countries at the door. A Canadian complainant on AskGamblers quotes the terms as excluding the UK, USA, Cyprus and the Netherlands among others; the casino does not list these countries elsewhere.
The formal rules page returned only its title, so five points remain unknown: the maximum bet with an active bonus, the maximum cashout from bonus or spins, how each game type counts toward the 35x, which games are excluded, and which payment methods get no bonus.
The promo page warns that failing KYC checks can lead to forfeiture, and CasinoGuru lists a €5,000 monthly withdrawal limit as a con. There is no single official promo code; affiliate pages push different ones.
13 complaints, a 3/10 safety index and a 30x no-deposit target
CasinoGuru recorded 13 complaints and a Safety Index of 3/10, rated "Very low", with "very high amount of withheld winnings in complaints" among its cons. How many of the 13 concern bonuses was not visible.
AskGamblers shows no complaints under "Bonus Issues"; its visible cases are about withdrawals, deposits and account access. One AskGamblers player review, dated about a year ago, describes winning 114.75 CAD from a no-deposit offer and then facing a 3,442.50 CAD wagering requirement, which is 30x the winnings, with "No games available" for bonus play.
On Trustpilot, 888starz.bet has 516 reviews, its rating is hidden for a guideline breach, and 72% of reviews are 1 star against 18% at 5 stars. Bonus mentions include a promised gift not received (31 July 2026) and a redeemed reward not credited (29 August 2026).
Who the 888Starz package suits, and who should skip it
The first step is the only one with a 100% match, so it suits a player who would deposit €50 to €300 anyway and can accept €1,750 to €10,500 of wagering. The 25% steps return €25 per €100 deposited and still carry 35x, which makes them poor value for anyone but players who already deposit large sums.
The max bet and cashout limit are not published by the sources, so ask support in writing first. Players in blocked countries cannot use the offer, and anyone hoping for a large win should weigh the €5,000 monthly cap and the CasinoGuru record on withheld winnings.
Myths vs facts
- Myth: The €1,500 package is a 100% match on every deposit.
- Fact: Only the first step is 100%. Steps two to four are 50%, 25% and 25%, so the full amount takes €4,400 of deposits.
- Myth: The welcome bonus always expires in 7 days.
- Fact: The official page only says "usually 7 to 30 days". The 7-day figure comes from affiliate sites.
