BetChan has no welcome bonus. As of October 2026, gambling.com's Canadian page, casinos.com's Irish and Canadian pages (updated 3 August 2026), AskGamblers and CasinoGuru's record all list one offer: 11% cashback on slot net losses, paid every Wednesday in real money. No deposit match, no free spins on sign-up, no bonus code, no public no-deposit offer. Below: what the 11% returns on a losing week, which old 40x terms still circulate, and the complaint record. Every figure here is attributed to the review site that reported it.
No deposit bonus, no bonus code, no free spins: four sources agree
Searches for a BetChan no deposit bonus code or promo code lead nowhere, because no such offer exists. gambling.com's Canadian page says BetChan "does not currently have a traditional type of welcome offer" and that it previously gave a deposit bonus on the first four payments plus free spins, without stating the old figures. casinos.com's Irish page, last updated 3 August 2026, finds no deposit match and no sign-up spins; its Canadian page found no welcome bonus either. AskGamblers lists a single bonus, the 11% Cashback on Wednesdays, and CasinoGuru's record shows only the 11% cashback with an unlimited max cashout. A site advertising a BetChan bonus code is describing the old package or another casino.
11% of slot net losses, paid every Wednesday as cash
casinos.com's Irish and Canadian pages and gambling.com's Canadian page agree on the parts that matter: the 11% is real money, not bonus money; no wagering; no maximum amount; no minimum or maximum bet while you earn it. AskGamblers files it under no-wagering bonuses. The threshold is a net loss of at least €1 (gambling.com writes $1). Only slot losses count: casinos.com's New Zealand text excludes live casino, card games, craps and lottery, and gambling.com adds that losses made with bonus funds are not refunded.
Enrolment is where the sources conflict. gambling.com says you must opt in after sign-up; casinos.com's Irish page says new players are enrolled automatically with their first deposit. The same page shows a €0 minimum deposit in its stats box and €20 in its summary, so assume you must opt in and that €20 is the real minimum. AskGamblers also quotes a general rule: every deposit must be wagered 3x before a withdrawal can be requested, cashback or not.
€100 lost returns €11, with no further bets required
The arithmetic is flat. A €100 net loss on slots in a week returns €11 on Wednesday. A €50 loss returns €5.50, a €500 loss returns €55 and a €1,000 loss returns €110. With no cap, a €5,000 losing week returns €550, withdrawable as soon as it lands, subject only to the 3x deposit turnover rule.
Compare the deposit bonus BetChan used to run. A 100% match on a €100 deposit at 40x wagering on the bonus means €4,000 of bets before the €100 can be withdrawn, and at the old $5 maximum stake that is at least 800 spins at the top bet. Should the deposit count as well, add it to the base and you reach €8,000. The cashback asks for zero further bets. The trade-off is size: a 100% bonus doubles your first balance up front, while 11% cashback returns about a tenth of what you lose, after you have lost it, and nothing can void it.
The 40x, $5 max bet and $75 spin cap terms are outdated
casinos.com's New Zealand page, with the same 3 August 2026 update date, still describes a deposit bonus with a $20 minimum deposit, 40x wagering on deposit bonuses, 50x on free spins, a $5 maximum bet, free spin winnings capped at $75, and slots counting 100% while blackjack, dice, poker and craps count 5%. It also lists a Monday Reload for a $20 deposit and an 11-tier VIP Club from 100 points up to a Porsche 911 at 2 million points. None of that appears on the Irish or Canadian pages of the same site, which say BetChan has no VIP programme, and the New Zealand page is banner-marked as unavailable there. Those numbers are the shape of the old offer, useful for reading older complaints, not terms you can claim.
15 spins, $4,000 and €38,710: the complaint record
AskGamblers counts 41 complaints against BetChan: 36 resolved, 5 open, 1 rejected. The rejected one is about a bonus: in 2019 a player was promised 15 free spins by email with the code word FREE, and support then said the spins depended on voting for the casino in an award contest. A $4,000 confiscation is marked resolved: the player was clearing about $246 of bonus money with a $735 wagering requirement, the casino removed the winnings over high bets, and under $500 came back. The largest case is €38,710 confiscated after verification was refused without explanation. A 2020 case over €135 involved deposits made with bonus offers and unfinished wagering.
CasinoGuru's record lists 10 direct complaints, all rejected, among them Dutch players asking for €2,900 refunds over unlicensed operation and a €1,000 confiscation from 2017 never explained. CasinoGuru rates the terms unfair on 7 points, naming bonus withdrawal deadlines, KYC timeframes and low-risk play restrictions. gambling.com puts the withdrawal maximum at $4,000. Trustpilot has removed the betchan.com profile; an earlier record showed 41 reviews and a 2.6 TrustScore.
Blocked in Ontario, and Germany is disputed
The terms list about 128 restricted countries and territories, among them the UK, the US, Australia, Belgium, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Poland, Norway, Brazil, Mexico, Ontario and Estonia, and they carry a section of additional terms for German players. gambling.com notes that promotions are not available to players in Ontario, AskGamblers lists Germany as restricted, and the casinos.com FAQ names the USA, the UK and parts of Europe as ineligible. A Dutch Trustpilot reviewer on 7 April 2026 mentioned a KSA fine. The operator is N1 Interactive Ltd under Malta licence MGA/B2C/394/2017, running since 2017.
Who the Wednesday cashback suits
The 11% suits a player who plays slots most weeks, loses steadily and wants part of it back as cash with no strings: €110 on €1,000 of losses is withdrawable money, and no max bet rule can take it. It does not suit bonus hunters: there is no matched balance, no free spins, no code and nothing to clear. Either way, verify your account before the first big win: the €38,710 and $4,000 cases turned on checks after winnings, not on the cashback.
Myths vs facts
- Myth: BetChan has a no deposit bonus code.
- Fact: No source lists any no-deposit offer; the only promotion is 11% cashback on slot losses.
- Myth: The 11% cashback is bonus money with wagering.
- Fact: casinos.com and gambling.com both report it as real money with no wagering, no cap and no bet limit.
