King Billy advertises a welcome package of up to 3,000 and 400 free spins, but AskGamblers lists four deposit steps that add up to 2,500 and 250 spins, and the homepage on 1 November 2026 shows 3,000 with 450 spins. Whatever the headline, the rules that decide what you keep are in the bonus terms, last updated 3 February 2025: 30x wagering unless an offer says otherwise, a €5 maximum bet, a 30-day expiry, and only 5% contribution from live and table games. This article works through those numbers for real deposits and covers the side offers: cashout cancellation, sticky bonuses and the VIP cashback.
Four steps that add up to 2,500, not 3,000
AskGamblers lists the package as 100% up to 500 plus 100 free spins, then 50% up to 500 plus 50 spins, then 25% up to 1,000, then 75% up to 500 plus 100 spins. The caps sum to 2,500 and the spins to 250. The offer listing says up to 3,000 plus 400 spins, and the homepage banner shows 3,000 plus 450. Three sources, three totals, so check the promotions page for your currency before depositing.
The deposit that fills each step depends on the percentage. Step 1 at 100% needs 500. Step 2 at 50% needs 1,000. Step 3 at 25% needs 4,000. Step 4 at 75% needs about 667. The minimum deposit is €20 or USD 20, so a minimum deposit on step 1 gives a bonus of 20.
30x on a 100 deposit means 3,000 of bets
The bonus terms say every casino bonus must be wagered 30x before withdrawal unless the offer states otherwise (clause 1.4). Take a 100 deposit on step 1: the bonus is 100 and the target is 3,000. Fill the whole step with a 500 deposit and the target is 15,000. On step 4, a 200 deposit gives a 150 bonus and a 4,500 target. On step 3, a 200 deposit gives only 50 and a 1,500 target, which is the lightest of the four in absolute terms.
The terms do not say whether the 30x applies to the bonus alone or to deposit plus bonus. The sticky bonus clause says wagering may be calculated on the bonus amount only, so the figures above use the bonus alone. Real money is used first, and winnings from bets placed with bonus money are added to the bonus balance (clause 1.9).
The €5 maximum bet and the 30-day clock
With a bonus active the maximum bet is €5, USD 5, 7.5 in AUD, CAD or NZD, 50 NOK or 100 ZAR. In crypto it is 0.00005 BTC, 0.0015 ETH, 0.05 LTC or 5 USDT. The general limit on slots without a bonus is €50, so the bonus cuts the ceiling to a tenth. A 3,000 target at €5 is at least 600 bets.
The bonus expires after 30 days (clause 1.10) and bonus money and winnings are forfeited on expiry. A 3,000 target in 30 days is 100 of turnover a day. A bonus balance under €0.05 is deducted automatically (clause 1.8), which ends the bonus when the money runs out.
Slots count 100%, live and table games 5%
Slots contribute 100%. Live games, table games and video poker contribute 5% (clause 1.5). A 3,000 target played entirely on live blackjack would need 60,000 of stakes. Progressive jackpot games and accumulative games cannot be played at all while a bonus is active.
Two further rules matter for slot players. Delaying a round or making a new deposit while free spins or bonus features are still waiting in a game voids the bonus and its winnings (clause 1.7). And for free-spin series paid out over several days, the next pack arrives only if the deposit is wagered once within 23 hours: with a 20 deposit, you must bet 20 in that window (clause 1.24).
What is different at King Billy: sticky bonuses, cashout cancellation and a bonus cap on 50 euro
The terms contain a section on sticky bonuses. The bonus never becomes cash. The example in clause 6.2 is a 100 sticky bonus at 40x: after wagering you hold 2,000, 100 is removed and 1,900 can be withdrawn. You cannot withdraw even your own deposit until wagering is done, and cancelling early loses the bonus and winnings.
The cashout cancellation bonus is unusual. If you request a withdrawal and cancel 25%, 50%, 75% or 100% of it, you receive a bonus worth 25% of the cancelled sum. Cancel 50 of a 100 request and the bonus is 12.5. It carries 20x wagering, a €5 maximum bet, 3 days to use it and no maximum win, and it is not available in crypto. The cancelled amount stays locked until you wager it. Cancelling a withdrawal to get a quarter of it back in bonus money is a poor trade unless you plan to keep playing anyway.
No-deposit winnings are capped at €50 (75 in AUD, CAD, NZD) and cannot be withdrawn until you have made at least one deposit. AskGamblers lists 50 free spins with no deposit. Sweden is excluded from all bonuses. Using several accounts, or a deposit-to-bonus ratio above 50%, counts as abuse under the general terms (clause 9.4).
Cashback by VIP level: 3% to 13%, capped at 3,000
Weekly cashback runs Thursday 00:00 to Wednesday 23:59 UTC and is paid Thursday. It needs, within the week, at least 200 in deposits, 200 in net losses and 200 in payments. The rate is 3% at Baronet, 5% at Baron and Viscount, 6% at Count and Marquess, 7% at Duke, 9% at Prince and 13% at King. The cap is 3,000. Levels up to Duke carry 3x wagering; Prince and King carry none. The bonus must be wagered within 7 days.
So a Baronet who loses 1,000 in a week gets about 30 back with a 90 wagering target, while a King who loses the same gets 130 with no wagering. The VIP insurance bonus is for Baron and above: 100% of weekly deposits over 100, capped at 1,000, 3x wagering and 3 days to use it.
What players say about the bonuses
CasinoGuru gives King Billy a safety index of 8.6 (High) and records 7 complaints. AskGamblers shows a CasinoRank of 8.8 and a player rating of 8.7 from 467 reviews. Trustpilot shows 3.5 stars from 776 reviews. We did not find individual complaint cases about bonuses in these sources, so we cannot say which bonus rule players dispute most. The terms themselves point to the likely friction: a bonus that is not credited if you bet before support grants it (clause 1.20), and winnings voided for the delayed-round rule.
Who the King Billy offer suits
It suits slot players who can live with a €5 bet ceiling and who will deposit 100 to 200 per step, which gives targets of 3,000 to 4,500 at 30x. It also suits regular depositors who may climb the VIP levels, since 7% to 13% cashback with little or no wagering is the strongest part of the terms. It does not suit players who prefer live dealer or table games (5% contribution), anyone who wants to bet more than €5 a spin, or anyone who wants a clear, single headline figure, given that three sources show three different totals.
Myths vs facts
- Myth: The welcome package is worth 3,000.
- Fact: AskGamblers lists four steps that sum to 2,500 and 250 spins. The 3,000 figure appears in the listing and on the homepage, and you only reach a step cap by depositing 500, 1,000, 4,000 and about 667.
- Myth: You can bet freely on live tables to clear the bonus.
- Fact: Live and table games count 5%, so a 3,000 target needs 60,000 of stakes there.
- Myth: A no-deposit win is cash right away.
- Fact: It is capped at €50 and cannot be withdrawn until you make a deposit.
