On its Ireland page LeoVegas offers new customers up to €1,000 plus 200 free spins on Book of Dead. The conditions shown are a €10 minimum deposit within 14 days of registering, 25x wagering within 7 days and a 3-day life for the spins. Other markets get different packages, from 100% up to €300 plus 100 spins to 2,000 NZD plus 200 spins. The casino's separate bonus terms were not among the sources we used, so some points, such as the maximum bet and what the 25x applies to, are open. Here is what is known, and what it means in euros.

Up to €1,000 and 200 spins on Book of Dead

The Ireland page lists the offer as up to €1,000 plus 200 free spins for new customers. AskGamblers describes the matching structure as 100% up to €1,000 plus 200 spins. The spins are on Book of Dead by Play'n GO and expire after 3 days. The same page's marketing text speaks of 2,600 spins and a live casino offer of up to €300, which does not match the offer box, so treat the 200 as the figure the offer box gives.

The minimum deposit is €10, to be made within 14 days of registering. At 100%, a €10 deposit would give €10 of bonus, and the full €1,000 needs a €1,000 deposit.

25x within 7 days: what it could mean for €100

The page states 25x wagering on eligible casino games within 7 days, with contributions that vary by game. It does not say whether 25x applies to the bonus alone or to the deposit plus bonus, so we do not give a figure for the full €1,000. If it applies to the bonus only, a €100 deposit with a €100 bonus means €2,500 of bets in 7 days, about €357 a day. Should the deposit count as well, add it to the base and you reach €5,000. A €10 deposit means €250, about €36 a day.

The 7-day window is short, and the 3-day expiry of the spins is shorter still. The terms add that bonuses unused within 1 month of being awarded can be withheld or removed (clause 14.3).

Five packages for five currencies

AskGamblers lists these markets separately: 100% up to €300 plus 100 spins; 100% up to €1,000 plus 200 spins; 100% up to 1,000 CAD plus 100 spins; 100% up to 2,000 NZD plus 200 spins; and up to 5,000 BRL plus 50 spins. A live casino offer of 100% up to €300 is also listed. LeoVegas runs country sites for Sweden, Denmark, Great Britain, Canada, Ontario, Italy, Spain, New Zealand and Chile, each with its own licence, so the offer you see depends on where you register. The offer listing shows 100% up to €300 plus 100 spins as the welcome offer.

The 30% single-bet rule

One condition is stricter than most players expect. A single bet equal to or over 30% of your total balance, including bonus, before the wagering is met counts as irregular play (clause 16.7 b). With a €100 deposit and a €100 bonus, the total balance is €200, so a bet of €60 or more is a risk. As the balance falls, the threshold falls with it: at €50 in the account, €15 is the line.

Bets with equal, zero or low margin, and hedged bets, are also treated as irregular (clause 16.7 a). The terms allow the casino to refuse withdrawals and confiscate funds for breaches of the bonus rules (clause 14.4). A maximum bet figure is not stated in the sources we used.

A 5% charge on money you never played

A rule that matters for bonus players who deposit and then try to withdraw: if you request a withdrawal of at least €10 of funds that have not been gambled with at least once, a 5% charge may apply, and the withdrawal can be delayed for extended due diligence (clause 16.9). On a €100 unplayed deposit, 5% is €5. The wagering rule itself is separate: it applies to the bonus.

Strong safety scores, weak player ratings

CasinoGuru gives LeoVegas a safety index of 9.8 (Very high) and records 22 complaints. AskGamblers has a CasinoRank of 8.3 but a player rating of only 6.1 from 232 ratings. Trustpilot shows 3.0 stars from 7,608 reviews. We did not find individual complaint cases about bonuses. The gap between high safety scores and a middling player rating is the pattern worth noting.

Who the LeoVegas offer suits

It suits a slot player who likes Book of Dead, can place the deposit and play through it within 7 days, and keeps single bets well under 30% of the balance. It does not suit someone who wants a longer wagering window, who wants to bet large amounts, or who plans to deposit and withdraw without playing. Check the bonus terms page for the maximum bet and the basis of the 25x before depositing.

Myths vs facts

Myth: The 200 spins last as long as the bonus.
Fact: The spins expire after 3 days, against 7 days for the wagering.
Myth: A big bet on the first spin is fine.
Fact: A single bet of 30% or more of your balance counts as irregular play until the wagering is met.
Myth: One welcome offer applies everywhere.
Fact: The offer differs by market and currency, from 100 spins on €300 to 200 spins on 2,000 NZD.
