The casino's own terms, CasinoGuru, AskGamblers and Trustpilot, checked in October 2026. If the casino's site says something else, the casino's site is right.
Caliente is the Mexican site caliente.mx, run by Tecnología en Entretenimiento Caliplay S.A.P.I. de C.V. under the SEGOB permit DGG/SP/404/97. Its terms set $2,000,000 MXN as the daily withdrawal limit for verified users and $400,000 MXN for unverified ones, promise payment the same day or the next, and charge $100 MXN every 30 days after 180 days of inactivity. They also carry a rule that bars players from discussing a complaint with third parties. Trustpilot shows 1.4 out of 5 from 236 reviews, and CasinoGuru gives a Safety Index of 5.9, Below average. The review covers the Mexican site only.
Permit DGG/SP/404/97 and a 41-entry restricted list
The terms state that the operator is authorised and regulated by the Secretaría de Gobernación (SEGOB) under permit DGG/SP/404/97, and the about page adds that financial transactions run through Tecnología en Entretenimiento Caliplay and Hipódromo de Agua Caliente S.A. de C.V. CasinoGuru dates the casino to 2025, while the permit number ends in /97, and the site does not explain the difference. Governing law is Mexican, with Mexican courts having exclusive jurisdiction (clause 20), and the Spanish text prevails.
Clause 2.2 lists 41 excluded territories: CARICOM territories, Afghanistan, Antigua and Barbuda, the Bahamas, Barbados, Belgium, Belize, Bulgaria, China, Cuba, Cyprus, Dominica, Estonia, France and its territories, Greece, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Hong Kong, Jamaica, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Italy, Libya, Macao, Montserrat, the Netherlands Antilles, Serbia, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Singapore, Spain, Sudan, Suriname, Syria, the Philippines, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey, and the USA with its territories. Clause 1.4 adds that winnings are not paid for play from the United States, and clause 1.3 lets Caliente block any territory for any reason.
The legal text is written for the sports platform, but clause 20 names Caliente Casino, and the same terms cover the casino. Bets are placed in calipoints, and one calipoint equals $0.7692 MXN, so $1,000 MXN buys 1,300 calipoints.
$2,000,000 MXN a day verified, $400,000 MXN unverified
A box under clause 6.13 gives the limits: verified users can withdraw up to $2,000,000 MXN every 24 hours and unverified users $400,000 MXN, with payment the same day or at the latest the next day. A win of $5,000,000 MXN would take 3 days at the verified limit and 13 days at the unverified one. Caliente reserves the right to change both limits and the times (6.13).
The retiro page describes bank withdrawals by CLABE account number and bank name, and the casino also pays out in cash at Caliente branches and by Santander order of payment. Cash deposits at the 70 authorised branches run from $20 MXN to $45,000 MXN a day, and documents are requested when a deposit exceeds $38,000 MXN. Deposit methods include Visa, Mastercard, SPEI, OXXO Pay, Paysafecard, ToditoCash and Apple Pay. There is no fee on bank, debit or card deposits (6.8), but international bank transfers carry bank charges paid by the player (6.9).
Several clauses give the casino room to change a payout. Clause 6.12 allows it to pay by a different method or in a different currency than requested. Clause 6.10 allows a currency-exchange commission when it judges that play was too low. Clause 6.11 allows it to hold any withdrawal on suspicion of fraud or irregular betting, and clause 17.5 lets it set off any balance against sums it says the player owes.
- Verified: $2,000,000 MXN per 24 hours
- Unverified: $400,000 MXN per 24 hours
- Cash deposit: $20 MXN to $45,000 MXN a day
- Documents needed above $38,000 MXN deposited
Verification is required before any withdrawal
The verification page states that verification is obligatory before any withdrawal, or before depositing more than $38,000 MXN. The player sends a valid INE, passport or FM2/FM3, with all 4 corners visible, plus proof of address no older than 4 months, and then has to contact support so that the documents are validated. Extra documents may be requested. Clause 6.3 adds that card depositors can be asked for a passport number, an ID copy, a utility bill or the header of a card statement before the first withdrawal.
Mexican anti-money-laundering rules appear in clause 20. Deposits or withdrawals of 325 minimum wages or more require identification data (20.3), and operations of 645 minimum wages, or that total that amount within 6 months, are reported to the financial intelligence unit (20.9). Support is open around the clock by chat, by phone at 800 522 5436 and by email.
$100 MXN every 30 days after 180 days
Under clause 8.1 an account becomes inactive after 180 days without access. Clause 8.4 sets the inactivity charge at $100 MXN, deducted from the last day of the grace period and every 30 days after that (8.2). After 12 consecutive months of inactivity the casino may keep any remaining money and close the account (8.2). Twelve months of charges come to $1,200 MXN. Clause 8.5 adds that all fees can change.
Other clauses that matter in money terms: clause 9.2 allows the casino to require wagering of the full deposit before bonus credit is usable. Clause 13.2, written for sports bets, caps a single bet win at $80,000 USD and a multiple bet at $200,000 USD, and clause 13.4 says the excess is not paid. Clause 17.3 states that when an account is blocked for breaching the terms, no refund of the funds is due under any circumstance. Clause 1.13.2 makes the player warrant that he or she is not classified as a compulsive gambler.
A 4-week complaint window and a confidentiality clause
Clause 14.1 says complaints are not heard unless raised with customer service within 4 weeks of the event. Clause 14.3 makes confidentiality a condition: the player may not disclose the existence, nature or detail of a complaint to anyone, including in a chat room or forum, and breaking this lets Caliente stop pursuing the complaint and freeze or close the account.
Playtech software, tested monthly by TST
The fair-play page says the game software is by Playtech and that the games are tested monthly by Technical Systems Testing (TST). The site does not publish a game count or a provider list. The menu shows sports, live streaming, casino, live casino, Vegas, slots, bingo and virtual games.
1.4 on Trustpilot from 236 reviews, 5.9 on CasinoGuru
Trustpilot shows 1.4 out of 5 from 236 reviews, 11 of them in the last 12 months: 82% give one star and 11% give five. A review of 14 July 2026 says a balance fell from $500 MXN to zero with no withdrawal or bet. One of 24 December 2025 says that after a $1,000 MXN deposit three live football bets won but were cancelled, and support said the bet was on hold after a wait of 1.5 hours. One of 23 October 2025 says $10,000 MXN was spent and about $20 MXN came back. Older reviews from 2018 to 2021 describe slow withdrawals and an account block after a win, one citing $13,600.
CasinoGuru rates the casino 5.9, Below average, with 5 complaints on file. AskGamblers has no review. Treat the Trustpilot reviews as allegations: the site does not verify them.
Who Caliente suits, and who should skip it
It suits a Mexican resident who wants a licensed domestic site, deposits in cash at one of 70 branches or through OXXO Pay or SPEI, and plans to verify early so the $2,000,000 MXN daily limit applies. A self-excluded player gets the balance returned, with a minimum 6-month exclusion.
It suits poorly a player who expects tools inside the account, since deposit limits and self-exclusion are arranged by chat. It also suits poorly anyone who may want to discuss a dispute publicly (clause 14.3), a player who will not log in for 180 days, and anyone in the 41 listed territories, including Spain, Italy and Estonia.
