How we rate casinos: the full method

Grosvenor Casinos online is run by Rank Interactive (Gibraltar) Limited, part of The Rank Group, under UK Gambling Commission account 57924. Its terms effective 16 December 2025 state that withdrawals carry no fee, that a dormant account loses nothing after 12 months, and that the casino may withhold a balance after suspected Prohibited Conduct. The payments page promises most withdrawals within 15 minutes, while AskGamblers lists 2 to 7 days for cards and banks. The welcome offer is £40 plus 100 free spins on a £20 deposit, with a £200 winning cap. AskGamblers shows 11 complaints, 10 of them resolved, and Trustpilot no longer shows a profile.

Rank Interactive (Gibraltar) Limited and account 57924

The terms name Rank Interactive (Gibraltar) Limited, Gibraltar company number 120385, with its address at Icom House, 1/5 Irish Town, as the operator (clause 1.1). It is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Rank Group Plc, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange (14.4). For customers in Great Britain it is licensed by the Gambling Commission under account number 57924, and for customers elsewhere by the Government of Gibraltar under RGL No. 133 and RGL No. 134 (1.3 and 1.4). The land-based casinos hold separate Gambling Commission licences 614, 33465 and 34161. CasinoGuru dates the brand to 2007 and puts its revenue tier above $100,000,000.

The same company runs 15 other brands named in clause 1.2, among them Mecca Bingo, Kitty Bingo, Regal Wins and The Vic, and only one account is allowed per customer for each brand (4.1.5). A person whose earlier account with the group was closed for wrongdoing, or who is self-excluded through GAMSTOP, may not register (4.1.3, 4.1.6 and 4.2.7). Only people in the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and Gibraltar may use the services (8.1), and a VPN is named as a breach (8.5). English law and the courts of England and Wales apply (26.8).

15 minutes on the page, 2 to 7 days at AskGamblers

The payments page lists six methods: Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Paysafecard, Apple Pay and instant bank transfer. Visa, Mastercard and instant bank transfer start at 5.00 for both deposits and withdrawals, PayPal starts at 10.00 for deposits and 5.00 for withdrawals, Paysafecard is deposit only at 10.00 and Apple Pay deposits start at 5.00. Currencies are pounds and euros. Credit cards and American Express are refused, including when they sit behind Apple Pay (clause 12.3).

On speed the casino says most withdrawals are processed instantly and reach the bank within 15 minutes, that all major banks and PayPal are enabled for fast withdrawals, and that Visa and Mastercard cards without that feature take 1 to 3 working days. AskGamblers lists a pending time of 6 to 24 hours, e-wallets at 24 to 48 hours, cards at 2 to 5 days and banks at 3 to 7 days, with no weekend cashouts. Added together, the slowest bank case there is 8 days. The two sources disagree widely, and the casino's figure describes the fast route only.

Clause 13.1 says withdrawals never carry a fee, and a first bank transfer needs a statement showing name, address, sort code and account number. Withdrawals go back to the deposit method, and with several methods they go to the one with the highest net deposits, meaning deposits minus withdrawals per method. With £100 deposited by card and £300 by PayPal, PayPal holds the highest net deposits. A method can be removed only when net deposits on all methods are zero or less (12.6). AskGamblers states no withdrawal limit, and clause 12.5.2 warns that Visa debit and PayPal may set their own.

Verification before the first withdrawal

Clause 7.1 lists the checks: age, identity, address, location, financial circumstances and the source of funds. The documents it names are a passport, a full driving licence, a national identity card, a marriage or civil partnership certificate, a deed poll, a decree absolute, a utility bill or bank statement from the last 3 months, and a photograph of the player holding the identity document. The account is suspended or limited and no withdrawal is possible until the initial checks are complete (7.3), and it may be closed for false documents.

The terms set no deadline for the casino to finish. Clause 12.4 adds that a withdrawal also needs cleared deposits and no open investigation into an error or into Prohibited Conduct, and 17.2 says an account under suspicion is suspended without notice, with the funds untouchable for 'a reasonable period'. A payment method in a different name is Prohibited Conduct too (23.3.3). Anyone found to be under 18 loses the winnings and gets the deposits back (7.4).

No fee on dormant accounts, but a broad withholding clause

Clause 15 treats an account as dormant after 12 months without a log-in, tries to contact the player at least 30 days earlier and states that no funds will be deducted while the account is dormant. The player can reactivate the account by logging in.

Clause 17.5.2 is the one to know. If the casino decides that a player committed Prohibited Conduct, it may withhold all or part of the balance and recover deposits, payouts, bonuses and winnings linked to it. The list in clause 23.3 includes bonus abuse, depositing or withdrawing without genuine play, a charge-back and a duplicate account. Clause 11 voids any wager affected by an error and the winnings from it, and a player who withdrew such money must repay it. Liability is capped at the greater of the wager or £1,000 (20.7).

A complaint must be made within 6 months of the incident, and one about how a game or wager was settled within 7 days (24.3). Escalation for UK residents goes to IBAS, and for others to the Gibraltar Gambling Commissioner.

£40 and 100 spins on £20, capped at £200

The promotions page describes the welcome offer as a £20 first deposit that brings a £40 bonus and 100 free spins on Big Bass Splash, with wagering of 10 times and a cap of £200 on winnings from the bonus. AskGamblers lists the same offer with a £20 minimum deposit and 10x on deposit plus bonus. Clause 16.4 adds that cash is spent before bonus money and that a bonus is forfeited with its winnings if the requirement is not met in time, or in 30 days when no period is given.

On a £20 deposit the player holds £60 and must stake 10 times, which means £600 of play, if the wagering applies to deposit plus bonus as AskGamblers says. CasinoGuru's one flagged issue in the terms is that low-risk play may lead to confiscated winnings. The bonus page carries the detailed rules.

Games, Kambi sports and the support line

The menu has slots, Megaways, jackpots, live casino, roulette, table games, poker and a Kambi-powered sportsbook, plus a Grosvenor One membership that links the online account to the land-based casinos. AskGamblers lists 20 providers, with more behind a button. Support is a live chat open 24 hours according to AskGamblers, and a phone line at 0800 083 1990 with no hours stated.

Net deposit limits, breaks of 1 day to 6 weeks

Clause 21 describes net deposit limits, an hourly reality check, a break from one day up to six weeks, and self-exclusion for at least six months across every Rank website and app. The site also lists gross deposit limits. The casino is registered with GAMSTOP (21.10), and it will not pay out winnings from deposits made with a payment method that belongs to a self-excluded member (21.15). AskGamblers marks 5 of 10 tools as present: deposit limit, self-exclusion, cool-off, reality check and the self-exclusion register. It lists no wager, loss or time limit, no self-assessment test and no withdrawal lock.

11 complaints, 10 resolved, and no Trustpilot profile

AskGamblers gives a CasinoRank of 6.5 and a player rating of 4.8 from 30 reviews. It lists 11 complaints, 10 resolved and 1 unresolved, with an average amount of $1,477, an average response time of 3 days and an average duration of 10 days. One case is a £4,600 withdrawal that stayed pending for over 2 weeks and was marked resolved. Another is a £12 roulette bet on number 28 where the player says a £387 win was not paid after a glitch; the casino returned the £33 stake and offered £50 as a goodwill payment. A third concerns a live casino tournament prize from an event on 8 to 11 March 2021 that the player says was not credited.

CasinoGuru shows a Safety Index of 9.8, Very high, in its listing, while the page header shows 8.9, and it counts either 1 or 4 complaints depending on the section. It rates the terms Mostly fair with 1 issue. Trustpilot has removed the Grosvenor Casinos profile, so there is no review score to quote. The low player rating of 4.8 and the 10 of 11 resolution rate point in different directions.

Who Grosvenor suits and who should look elsewhere

It suits a UK player who wants a £20 deposit to be matched with a £40 bonus, who pays with a debit card or PayPal in their own name and wants withdrawals back the same way, and who values a promise that dormant accounts are not charged. The 10x wagering and the £200 cap are both stated up front.

It is a weaker fit for a player who deposits with a credit card, American Express or another person's account, for a bonus player who expects to win more than £200 from the bonus, and for anyone who needs a payout deadline in writing, since the terms give none for verification and the casino's 15 minutes applies only to fast withdrawals. Residents outside the five permitted jurisdictions cannot register.
