Kansino is legit, with caveats. It is licensed, but its safety score or terms leave room for problems.
- High CasinoGuru Safety Index (9.8/10)

How Kansino got 4.7/5
The rating is calculated the same way for every casino, from three independent sources:

The casino's own terms, CasinoGuru, AskGamblers and Trustpilot, checked in October 2026. If the casino's site says something else, the casino's site is right.
Kansino (kansino.nl) is a Dutch-licensed casino run by Play North Limited of Malta, and it accepts only players who live in the Netherlands. Its terms, version 1.15 in force from 04/02/2026, allow one deposit route (iDEAL | Wero via Trustly) and one withdrawal route (Trustly bank transfer), and they name no minimum, maximum or payout time. They require every player to set 3 limits at registration, apply no inactivity fee, and promise a final complaint decision within 8 weeks. CasinoGuru gives a Safety Index of 9.8 (Very high) with 1 complaint on file, while Trustpilot shows 3.0 stars from 2,142 reviews. The sections below set the clauses against those outside scores.
Play North Limited, registration C86563, and licence 3609
The terms (clause 1.2) name Play North Limited as the operator, a company registered in Malta under number C86563 with its address at Level 1, The Centre, Tigne Point, Sliema. Clause 1.1 says kansino.nl is licensed and regulated by the Dutch Kansspelautoriteit under a licence issued on 01/10/2021. The register note collected for this review lists licence 3609 for the brand Kansino, valid from 1 Oct 2026 to 1 Oct 2031, which reads as a renewal of the 2021 licence. The casino's data entry gives 2021 as the founding year.
The terms apply Dutch law and send disputes to a Dutch court (1.5), and where translations differ the Dutch text prevails (1.7). Since 19 November 2025 all times on the site are shown in Central European Time (1.8). The same company runs Pikakasino for Finland, and its affiliate programme, launched in 2024, lists KSA and MGA licences next to the two brands.
iDEAL in, Trustly out: one route each way
Clause 5.1 allows deposits only with iDEAL | Wero via Trustly, and successful deposits show in the account at once. Clause 6.1 states that the only withdrawal method is a Trustly bank transfer, paid only to the verified account. The casino's data entry lists euro as the sole currency. A player who wants a card, an e-wallet or crypto has no such option here, which is the opposite of casinos that list 16 or 19 methods.
The terms print no minimum deposit, no minimum or maximum withdrawal and no payout time. Clause 6.4 says the duration depends on the banks involved and that the casino is not responsible for delays caused by payment providers. A player therefore cannot calculate how many days a €2,000 withdrawal takes from this document, because no daily or monthly ceiling is stated either.
- Deposits must come from money that is yours and from a payment method in your own name (5.5). A payment in someone else's name allows the casino to close the account and seize the money.
- Money that reaches the account by mistake stays the casino's property, and if you have already withdrawn it, it becomes a debt (5.6).
- If deposits are not used for play, the casino may cancel a withdrawal and ask for source-of-funds documents (6.3).
- No transfers between players (5.2), no credit and no interest on balances (5.3).
BSN, IBAN and a Dutch address: ten registration items
Clause 3.1 lists 10 items the casino collects: surname, first names, date of birth, place of birth, BSN number, Dutch residential address, IBAN, email, phone number and a scan of the ID. Registration is open only to natural persons living in the Netherlands with a valid Dutch address (2.2, 3.2), aged 18 or over, who are not registered in CRUKS (2.3). Clause 2.6 adds that you may visit the site only from the Netherlands and must not mask your IP address with a VPN or proxy.
Verification comes before the account exists: if it fails, no account is created (3.3). Afterwards the casino may run background checks and ask for more ID or proof of the source of funds or wealth, and may block or close the account if documents are missing or false (3.5). Clause 5.4 lets it verify the account or payment both before and after deposits, and clause 6.2 does the same around withdrawals.
The anti-money-laundering section is the harshest part of the document. Under clause 17.2 unusual activity is reported to the FIU in the Netherlands, the account can be suspended or closed and the balance frozen. Under 17.6 the casino may close the account and freeze the transactions without telling the player what the matter is. Clause 17.4 allows suspension if requested documents do not arrive or do not meet the legal requirements. No number of days for answering a request is printed.
Three limits set at registration, a 60-minute reality check and CRUKS
Clause 9.2.1 requires every player to apply financial limits at registration: a daily, weekly or monthly deposit limit, a daily, weekly or monthly time limit and a maximum balance limit. A limit can be raised only after a cooling period of 7 days (9.2.3), while a lower limit applies at once. Limits refresh on calendar periods in CET: the month from the 1st to its end, the week from Monday to Sunday and the day from midnight to 23:59 (9.2.4).
A reality check appears by default every 60 minutes and shows the time played and the amounts spent or won (9.1.1). Self-exclusion can be requested for 1, 7 or 30 days, or without a time limit (9.3.1, 9.3.2), and it applies to every site run by Play North (9.3.4). The casino is connected to CRUKS, the national register that excludes a player from all licensed operators for 6 months (9.3.5). If the casino sees excessive play it may ask a player to register there, and if the player refuses it must report this to the KSA, which can enrol the player involuntarily (9.3.6).
AskGamblers has no review of the casino, so there is no outside checklist to compare the tools with. The terms, however, describe more mandatory tools than casinos that offer limits only on request.
The rules that cost money: 12 months, 3 months and the server result
There is no inactivity fee at Kansino (4.2). An account counts as inactive after more than 12 months without a login, but the clause attaches no charge to that status. That matters when set against casinos that take a monthly fee from dormant balances.
Time limits and finality rules run against the player. Requests about money transfers must reach the casino within 3 months of the original transfer or the date it should have happened, or the casino may ignore them (15.2). If the screen and the game server show different outcomes, the server wins (15.3). Rounds cannot be refunded or cancelled once started, because the stake leaves the balance at the start of the round (8.2). If a game's bet or outcome is wrong, the casino may cancel the winnings and bets for that game (8.6), and in a complete system failure all bets are void (11.3).
Clause 10.1 forbids switching bets on purpose to meet wagering, 'bonus parking' (playing free rounds with bonus money and finishing with real money after the bonus expires), exploiting errors and automated programs. Clause 10.3 lets the casino act at once and without notice, and 10.10 makes the player pay all costs that result from a breach. Clause 8.3 allows the casino to limit or refuse bets.
72 hours to acknowledge, 8 weeks to decide
Complaints go through live chat, email or the phone number 0800-7770333, and filing is free (15.1). Support confirms receipt within 72 hours and a senior employee gives the final decision within 8 weeks (15.4), which is up to 56 days. If the complaint is not taken up, the player gets a written notice within 7 days (15.5), and any settlement is paid within 72 hours of being agreed (15.6). In the best case that is 3 days plus 56 days plus 3 days.
A player who is not satisfied can go to the Kansspelautoriteit complaints page or to the Juridisch Loket (15.7). The casino stores all chats and emails and may hand them to the authorities in a dispute (15.8). The terms name no ADR provider besides these two.
9.8 on CasinoGuru, 1 rejected complaint, 3.0 stars from 2,142 reviews
CasinoGuru gives Kansino a Safety Index of 9.8, tier Very high, and rates the terms and conditions as mostly fair. The casino is not on its blacklist. CasinoGuru records 1 complaint in total, and it was rejected. One case is too few to say how the casino treats disputes in general.
Trustpilot shows 3.0 stars from 2,142 reviews, a large sample and a much weaker picture than the CasinoGuru score. AskGamblers has no review page for Kansino.
Games are not counted in the terms. The footer links slots such as Gates of Olympus, Sweet Bonanza, Book of Dead, Starburst, Fire Joker and Blue Wizard, and live games such as Crazy Time, Lightning Roulette, Lightning Dice and Mega Ball.
A €25 no-deposit bonus and a 100% match up to €200
Gambling.com and Squawka list a first deposit bonus of 100% up to €200 and a €25 bonus without a deposit, and CasinoGuru shows wagering of 30x on the €25. If the 30x applies to the bonus amount alone, that is €750 of play; the basis is set in the separate bonus terms, which clause 7 refers to and which this review does not cover. The bonus figures may predate the licence renewal of October 2026, so check the current bonus page before relying on them.
Who Kansino suits
Kansino suits a player who lives in the Netherlands, banks with iDEAL and accepts that deposits and withdrawals both run through Trustly in euro. It also suits someone who wants the 3 mandatory limits, the 60-minute reality check and CRUKS in place from day one, and a written 8-week complaint deadline.
It does not suit a player who wants card, e-wallet or crypto payments, a published payout time or a stated withdrawal ceiling, since the terms give none of these. A player outside the Netherlands cannot register at all (2.2, 3.2), and a player who prefers a VPN is breaching clause 2.6. Someone who expects to be told the reason for a frozen account should note clause 17.6.
