How PartyPoker got 3.1/5

The rating is calculated the same way for every casino, from three independent sources:

  • AskGamblers CasinoRank6.9/10weight 30%
  • Trustpilot1.1/5weight 10%

Combined: 5.7/10, shown as 3.1/5 on a fixed scale that is the same for every casino.

One source has no data for PartyPoker, so the remaining weights are scaled up.

How we rate casinos: the full method

PartyPoker is a poker room from the Entain group with a casino lobby on the same account, and its terms change by country. The footer shows Martingale Europe Limited under Malta Gaming Authority licence MGA/CRP/688/2019, while the Rest of the World terms of 2 August 2024 name ElectraWorks Limited of Gibraltar. Withdrawals need approval of up to 2 business days, an account outside the UK is called inactive after a full year, and Trustpilot shows 1.3 from 878 reviews, mostly about poker. CasinoGuru has no page, and AskGamblers gives a CasinoRank of 6.9 with a player rating of 3.8 from 4 reviews. This review reads the official terms and help pages.

MGA/CRP/688/2019 on the footer, a Gibraltar company in the terms

Every page footer says Martingale Europe Limited operates under Maltese law and is regulated by the Malta Gaming Authority under licence MGA/CRP/688/2019, issued on 1/10/2020 in the name of the reporting entity bwin Holdings (Malta) Limited. The EU and EEA terms, amended on 31.07.2023, give Martingale company number C92800 and bwin (Holdings) Malta Limited number C59121. They apply Maltese law and Maltese courts (clause 23), name eCOGRA as the free alternative dispute resolution provider for EU citizens and allow a complaint to the Malta Gaming Authority.

The Rest of the World terms, modified on 2 August 2024, name a different company. ElectraWorks Limited, Gibraltar, company number 94014, is licensed by the Government of Gibraltar and regulated by the Gibraltar Gambling Commissioner. For UK residents the provider is LC International Limited, number 46808, under UK Gambling Commission reference 54743. A player outside the UK and the EU is sent to the Gibraltar Gambling Commissioner if a dispute is not settled (clause 21), and Gibraltar law and courts govern (clause 23).

The footer and the terms therefore do not describe the same company for every visitor. A help page adds that people who opened several accounts across the group brands, Coral, bwin, PartyPoker and Sportingbet, before 1 July 2026 may keep them under the Gibraltar licence that was active then, while no new second account is allowed. The Rest of the World terms have the player confirm they are not accessing the site from the United States or Poland, and a visitor from Brazil gets poker only. The profile data blocks 81 countries, among them the US, Australia, Austria, Poland, the Netherlands and Norway.

Two business days to approve, then the method's own clock

Clause 10.4 says payments are made as soon as reasonably possible, subject to up to 2 business days of internal processing, and the help page repeats that an internal team approves every withdrawal. Money returns to the card or e-wallet that paid in, and that method must be verified and in the player's name. The terms add a closed-loop rule: a withdrawal can be split across several methods, and the casino may send money back to the deposit methods, up to the total deposited, before other options open (10.3). A pending withdrawal can be reversed in the cashier until it is dispatched, except for UK customers.

The method time comes on top. AskGamblers lists e-wallets at 0 to 24 hours, cards and banks at 3 to 7 days and a pending period of 0 to 96 hours, which makes 11 days for a card payout at worst. The profile data shows e-wallets at 0 to 24 hours, banks at 2 to 4 days, cards at 3 to 5 days and pending at 0 to 24 hours, which makes 6 days at worst. The two sources disagree on both the bank time and the pending time. A SEPA bank transfer in euro costs each side its normal bank fee (clause 10.5).

The help site gives figures for two methods. Aircash Pay runs from €1 to €1,000 for deposits and withdrawals, with A-bon vouchers from €5 to €50, instant deposits, withdrawals within 24 hours of approval and no commission. If €1,000 is a per-transaction cap, which the page does not say, a €3,500 payout would need 4 transfers. Luxon sets a €10 minimum withdrawal, pays within 24 hours of approval, charges no fee and allows withdrawals only if a deposit succeeded in the last six months. A jackpot win is made available within 24 hours after the game supplier confirms it, provided other checks are complete (10.2).

  • Approval: up to 2 business days (clause 10.4)
  • Aircash Pay: €1 to €1,000, payout within 24 hours of approval
  • Luxon: €10 minimum withdrawal, no fee
  • UK single deposit cap: £2,000; credit cards refused since 14 April 2020

Documents at any time, and no deadline for the review

Clause 4 lets the casino ask at any time for a valid passport or ID card, the payment cards used, and a recent utility bill or bank statement as proof of address. Failure to supply them can mean suspension or closure, and the casino may withhold the balance until verification is complete. For players outside the UK, clause 2.2 allows transactions to be voided until identity is verified, and an account that cannot be verified in a reasonable time can be suspended or closed. UK players must be verified before they deposit.

A security review under clause 15 can go further: it may include a credit report and checks against third-party databases, and the player agrees to provide any information requested. The help page says only that the checks are needed to comply with gaming regulations. No time limit for the review is stated anywhere in the pages read, and clause 10.4 says delays from such a review come on top of the 2 business days.

A year of silence, then a fee, then closure after 18 months

For accounts registered outside the UK, an account with no log-in plus a cash wager, a cash tournament entry, a raked hand or a deposit for a full year (365 consecutive days) becomes inactive. The casino may then deduct an Inactive Account Fee on the following day and every 30 days, remove unused freeroll entries, and, if the account stays inactive for 18 consecutive calendar months, withhold the remaining money and close the account. On that reading the earliest closure comes 30 months after the last activity. The amount of the fee is not stated in the terms text read.

UK accounts follow a shorter clock: 13 consecutive months without a cash wager, then after 30 days a monthly fee of £3.00 if the casino cannot cash the balance out; the fee can be refunded on request, and a £30 balance would last 10 months.

Other clauses matter more than the fee. Clause 16.1 lets the casino terminate, withhold the balance and recover payouts for breach of terms, fraud, collusion, charge-backs or bankruptcy, and it extends to accounts on other sites of the group and on the shared game platform (28.6). Clause 21.4 asks the player not to disclose complaint discussions to the media or social media, and a breach can put the process on hold or freeze the account. Opening a second group account while self-excluded lets the casino suspend that account's funds without refund (19.3 and 19.4). The sportsbook on the same account has its own limits in the EU terms: wins are capped at $250,000 or €175,000 per 24 hours, a single bet at €10,000 or $12,000, and losses beyond €5,000 in any four weeks are protected.

A poker room first: what the casino lobby shows

The casino lobby lists Originals, Our Champions, New, Table Games, Instant Win, Jackpot Slots, Slots, Monte Carlo, Blackjack and Roulette, plus Live Casino and Arcade tabs and sections such as Drops and Wins, Hold and Win and Gold Blitz. The New badge reads 51 and Instant Win 12. The site does not state a total, saying only that its slots are uncountable, and the help page speaks of 1000s of games from multiple providers, with RTP shown in the in-game instructions. Elk Studios was provider of the month on the day read. Two jackpot counters showed €2,111,694.01 and €423,643.74 on the day read.

The site is offered in 5 languages: English, German for Austria, Spanish, French and Brazilian Portuguese. The terms name a 24/7 Customer Care Team, with separate mailboxes for help, complaints and game integrity; chat hours were not found. Two-factor login by a one-time code sent by SMS is available.

Safer-gambling tools: 7 of 10 at AskGamblers

The responsible gambling page, reviewed May 2025, lists daily, weekly and monthly deposit limits, time-out or cool-off and self-exclusion. A limit reduction applies at once, while an increase or removal takes 24 hours (clause 19.5). AskGamblers confirms 7 of 10 tools: deposit limit, time limit, self-exclusion, cool-off, reality check, self-assessment test and a self-exclusion register. It finds no wager limit, no loss limit and no withdrawal lock. After self-exclusion at one group site, the group undertakes to stop play on other accounts within 48 hours (clause 19.2.1).

1.3 on Trustpilot from 878 reviews, and no CasinoGuru page

CasinoGuru has no page for PartyPoker, so there is no Safety Index and no complaint count to quote. AskGamblers shows a CasinoRank of 6.9 and a player rating of 3.8 from 4 reviews, too few to judge. Trustpilot for partypoker.com shows 1.3 from 878 reviews in one record and 1.1 from 888 in another, and the profile is claimed. The sample of reviews from April and May 2026 contains one 5-star review praising quick support and four 1-star reviews from 4 to 24 April 2026 alleging rigged or bot-controlled poker, one of them saying the matter was reported to the Gambling Commission. Those are allegations about the poker tables, not about casino games, and the sample is only 5 reviews.

No individual casino complaint, with an amount, a country and an outcome, was found in the data.

The welcome offer in brief

AskGamblers lists 100% up to £1,000 plus £50 of free play with a £10 minimum deposit and 5x wagering on the deposit, and 100% up to $600 plus $30 in tickets with a $10 minimum. The profile data shows $25 free with no deposit plus 100% up to $600. The three descriptions differ, and the offer depends on the country.

Who PartyPoker suits and who should look elsewhere

It suits a poker player who wants slots or live tables on the same wallet, accepts approval of up to 2 business days on each withdrawal, and uses a card or e-wallet in their own name, since the money goes back the way it came. It also suits someone who wants an operator with a named Maltese or Gibraltar regulator and 7 of 10 safer-gambling tools.

It is a poor fit for a player in the 81 countries the profile data blocks, for one who wants a published fee amount before leaving an account idle for a year, and for anyone who wants a casino record on CasinoGuru. A player who expects a €5,000 payout without a verification request should not: the casino may ask for documents at any time and states no review deadline.
