Our verdict

MagicWins is legit, with caveats. It is licensed, but its safety score or terms leave room for problems.

How MagicWins got 3.8/5

  • Trustpilot2.0/5weight 10%

Combined: 7.2/10, shown as 3.8/5 on a fixed scale that is the same for every casino.

One source has no data for MagicWins, so the remaining weights are scaled up.

How we rate casinos: the full method

MagicWins is a Belgian online casino run by COVIFIL SA under licence B+3979 of the Belgian Gaming Commission. Its General Terms of Use of 16 June 2025 set a default deposit limit of €200 a week, a minimum age of 21, a 15% administrative fee on deposits and withdrawals made without play, and closure of accounts idle for 24 months with the balance deleted. CasinoGuru gives a Safety Index of 7.7, Above average, but rates the terms Unfair with 3 issues, and Trustpilot shows 2.0 stars from 13 reviews. AskGamblers has no review. This review reads the terms clause by clause and sets them against the two outside scores.

COVIFIL SA, business number 0455.102.818 and licence B+3979

The terms identify COVIFIL SA, a Belgian limited company with its head office at Avenue du Parc 22, 4650 Herve and business number CBE 0455.102.818, as owner and operator. It holds licence B+3979 from the Belgian Gaming Commission, which CasinoGuru marks as verified. CasinoGuru dates the brand to 2012 and puts yearly revenue above €5,000,000. The terms are headed Casino Magic, and the register shows a B+ licence only, with no A+ licence.

Belgian law governs the contract (clause 29). The parties first have 14 days to settle a dispute in good faith, after which the courts of the judicial district of Liege have sole jurisdiction, and any claim must be filed within a year of the triggering event. The terms exist in French, English and Dutch, and the French version prevails (clause 26). The site calls itself a 100% Belgian gaming website.

€200 a week by default, and €2,000 once the limit is lifted

Clause 9.3 imposes a default deposit limit of €200 per week under the Royal Decree of 25 October 2018. That is €5,200 over 26 weeks, €10,400 over 52 weeks and an average of €866.67 a month. A player can ask to lift it, but only with the Gaming Commission's approval, which is answered within 72 hours after a check of the National Bank of Belgium credit register, and the request is refused for anyone in default of payment. If the player then sets no personal limit, a limit of €2,000 a week is imposed, ten times the default and €104,000 over a year. Personal limits can be set per 24 hours, 7 days or 1 month; lowering a limit is immediate, while raising one takes effect only after 72 hours.

Clause 9.4 sets the transaction limits: deposits from €10, or €5 by Neosurf, up to €25,000; bank-transfer withdrawals from €10 up to €25,000; and withdrawals in a gaming hall in multiples of €5, from €15 up to €3,000. At the default weekly limit a single €25,000 deposit would take 125 weeks to accumulate, so the transaction ceiling matters only after the limit is lifted.

A 15% charge on transactions that are not play

The casino takes no commission on deposits or withdrawals, whichever payment method is used (clause 9.4). It does reserve an administrative fee of 15% of the transaction value where the purpose is not solely to play, for example consecutive deposits and withdrawals without stakes. On €1,000 that is €150. Withdrawals are processed on request once the account is authenticated, subject to normal bank lead times, and the terms give no figure in days. Deposits must come from the player's own payment method or bank account, and the casino may check solvency with banks and payment providers (clause 18). The data held for the casino records only the euro as currency and no welcome bonus, because Belgian-licensed casinos may not offer welcome, deposit or free spin bonuses.

Authentication within 3 months, and a €2,000 monthly loss cap for passport holders

Clause 3.3 divides checks in two. Identification is an email link. Authentication is done through third-party tools at registration, or by the casino asking for documents. No withdrawal is possible before authentication and, since 1 May 2025, an unauthenticated account cannot reach the games either. An account not authenticated within 3 months is suspended, and unsatisfactory answers to further requests over 3 months can also lead to suspension. A player who is not Belgian and registered with a passport has losses capped at €2,000 a month until authentication is done.

At any time the casino may ask for a photo with an ID copy, a phone or video call, a copy of the payment card, proof of the origin of funds, proof of address, proof of income, a tax form or a bank statement. The minimum age is 21 (clause 3.1), and only one account per person is allowed.

12 months to suspension, 24 months to deletion

Clause 11 lets the casino suspend or close an account without notice or compensation after 12 months of inactivity. Clauses 12 and 13 add that an account with no login for 24 months is closed on the operator's initiative, with no prior notice except in exceptional cases, and that a positive balance on such an "orphan" account is deleted. A player who contacts the casino afterwards has the request investigated. CasinoGuru's note on the terms mentions dormant-account confiscation after 12 to 18 months among its 3 issues, which does not match the 12 and 24 months of the version read, so the exact period should be confirmed with the casino.

Other limits on a player: liability is capped at the lower of the commissions earned on the account in the 3 months before the claim or €500 (clause 10); the operator's server record prevails over the player's screen (clause 27); and a martingale system or artificial-intelligence software is forbidden (clause 6).

Three jackpots of €500, €888 and €25,000

Clause 8 describes three casino jackpots. The Time jackpot falls within a set number of minutes, 120 by default, and can never exceed €500. The Must jackpot falls before it reaches a ceiling of €888. The Big jackpot falls at random and is capped at €25,000, which is 50 times the Time jackpot. The operator may change or cancel any jackpot and withdraws all jackpot winnings if software is used to play several games at once to generate more spins than a person could.

37 providers and no live chat

CasinoGuru counts 37 game providers and says live chat is not available. The home page copy lists Amusnet, Greentube, Endorphina, Fazi, Game Art, Pragmatic Play, Spinomenal, Synot and Betsoft, with tabs for casino, dice, table games and tournaments. Support is by email, given in the header of the terms. The responsible gaming page names SOS Jeux on 0800/35.777, open 24 hours, the Clinique du jeu and the Gaming Commission's self-exclusion forms. A paused player can still withdraw once authenticated, while a self-excluded player loses access to the account (clause 3.1).

14 days to complain, then the Gaming Commission

A complaint about a game or the payment of winnings goes through the Help tab or by email and must be sent within 14 days of the triggering event, otherwise it is inadmissible (clause 19). A player may also write to the Belgian Gaming Commission, by email or at Cantersteen 47 in Brussels, giving at least a name and date of birth. The 14-day complaint window is shorter than the 1-year limit for court claims in clause 29, so a late complaint is lost while a late lawsuit is not.

Safety Index 7.7, 3 complaints and 2.0 stars from 13 reviews

CasinoGuru gives a Safety Index of 7.7, Above average, rates the terms Unfair with 3 issues and finds no blacklist entry. It records 3 complaints: 1 resolved and 2 rejected, so two thirds were rejected. Trustpilot shows 2.0 stars from 13 reviews, a small sample. AskGamblers has no review, so there is no CasinoRank or player rating, and the sources give no complaint amounts, countries or dates, so no single case can be described.

Who MagicWins suits and who should look elsewhere

It suits an adult of 21 or more living in Belgium who wants a regulated site and is content with a deposit limit of €200 a week. It does not suit a player who wants bonuses, since none are offered, a player who needs live chat, or one who may leave an account untouched for 24 months, since the balance is then deleted. A non-Belgian passport holder should expect the €2,000 monthly loss cap until authentication is complete.
