Our verdict

One Casino is legit, with caveats. It is licensed, but its safety score or terms leave room for problems.

How we rate casinos: the full method

One Casino is the Dutch-market site of One Casino Limited of Sliema, Malta, licensed by the Dutch Kansspelautoriteit under licence 2161. Its terms, version 19 March 2025, set a €5,000 limit on deposits in 24 hours, a €0.01 minimum withdrawal, a net deposit limit of €700 per calendar month, a 6-month inactivity rule and a €100 cap on the casino's own liability. CasinoGuru gives a Safety Index of 9.8, Very high, yet records 25 complaints, of which 20 were rejected. Trustpilot shows 3.9 stars from 8,851 reviews. This review lays the Dutch rules next to those scores, so a player in the Netherlands knows what the account does with money.

One Casino Limited in Sliema and Dutch licence 2161

The operator is One Casino Limited, Level 8, The Centre, Ix-Xatt ta' Tigné, Sliema, Malta. The footer of the Dutch site says it holds a licence from the Kansspelautoriteit under number 2161/01.272.534. The Dutch register entry, as recorded on 18 October 2026, runs from 5 October 2022 to 5 October 2027 and covers 2 sites, the Dutch casino site and a Dutch sports site. AskGamblers lists the Malta Gaming Authority, the Danish Gambling Authority and the Dutch authority among the licences of the company across markets.

The terms of 19 March 2025 say that only the Dutch text is the legal basis, that Dutch law applies and that Dutch courts have exclusive jurisdiction. Registration is closed to anyone outside the countries in the sign-up list, and hiding an IP address or device location is forbidden. Casino games start at 18, but section 8 lets only players aged 24 or older receive bonuses. Sign-up asks for a citizen service number (BSN), a bank account number and a birthplace, and the BSN is checked against the Dutch register.

€5,000 in per day, €0.01 minimum out, and the €700 net limit

The home page shows iDEAL, Visa and Mastercard for deposits, in euros only. A foreign-currency bank or e-wallet converts the money, and any exchange cost is the player's. The terms ask for no minimum deposit to start playing, but a first withdrawal needs a deposit of at least €0.01, and the minimum withdrawal is also €0.01 per request. Deposits are capped at €5,000 in 24 hours, a limit the responsible gaming page says cannot be raised, and at €400 a month for players under 24.

A tighter Dutch rule sits underneath. A net deposit limit (deposits minus payouts) is set automatically at €700 per calendar month, or €300 for young adults, which is €8,400 over 12 months or €3,600 for young adults, and once it is reached no more deposits are possible until the month ends. Proof of income or assets can change it, and 30% of income may be used. A voluntary deposit limit above €350 a month, or €150 for ages 18 to 24, must be discussed on live chat first and then waits 7 days.

The home page says withdrawals are processed daily and usually arrive about 3 hours after the check, or up to 48 hours in some cases. AskGamblers disagrees: 0 to 24 hours for e-wallets, 48 to 96 hours for bank transfers and cards, and 0 to 96 hours pending. At the slow end of that range, 96 hours is 32 times the 3 hours quoted on the site. A deposit stuck in pending status for more than 20 minutes should go to support. All costs of a withdrawal are the player's, and any fee is shown when the request is made. The terms say money must come from an instrument in the player's name established in an EU member state, and a chargeback blocks the account and lets the casino take funds to cover it.

BSN, bank details and a €0.01 test charge before play

The promotions page explains that the account is activated only after identity, age and bank details are verified, and that the casino charges €0.01 to the bank account to confirm it, refunded after verification. If the data and the documents differ, the account is not activated. Registration also checks the national exclusion register CRUKS, and a registered player may not open an account.

Later checks are open-ended. The terms allow a passport or ID copy, utility bills, copies of the cards used for deposits and proof of the source of funds or wealth at any time, and a withdrawal may be cancelled with the money kept if the documents are unsatisfactory. Politically exposed persons are not served, and the check is done before the first deposit. Accounts closed for false identity data or duplicate accounts lose the balance, which is deleted unless the casino chooses to move it to the first account.

6 months idle and a €100 liability cap

An account counts as inactive after 6 consecutive months without access when it holds real money, and the casino may end it without notice after the same 6 months. It then tries to return the funds, and if it cannot reach the holder it handles the money at its own discretion. No inactivity fee is named in the terms.

In the liability section, the casino's responsibility for damage or loss is capped at €100 where the law allows. Duplicate accounts can lead to one or all accounts being blocked and bets and bonuses voided. Several accounts in one household, on one IP address or one device are allowed, but only one gets bonuses and the casino must be told. Zero-risk or low-risk bets during bonus play count as irregular play, and the casino may keep the winnings.

€10 free, 50% up to €100, and a €5 bet cap on bonus play

The headline offer is €10 on registration without a deposit plus 50% on the first deposit up to €100, so a full bonus needs a €200 deposit. A Welcome Pass with 10 rewards follows the first deposit. Only the headline terms are covered here, and the points that cost money are in the terms. The maximum bet with most bonuses is €5, except for bonuses above €1,000, and an unused bonus can be removed after 1 month.

Slots, both video and classic, count 100% towards wagering, live casino counts 20% and table games and other games count 0%. Each €100 of requirement is cleared by €100 of slot bets or €500 of live bets. A withdrawal request while a deposit bonus is open removes the original bonus, and cashback is not offered. The actual wagering factor is not stated on the promotions page; it quotes 35x only as an example of how the factor works.

Over 100 live games and 20 named providers

The home page lists more than 100 live games, a sportsbook with more than 20 sports and a long slot catalogue. It names 20 providers, among them Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Evolution, Games Global, Play'n GO, Nolimit City, Relax Gaming and Push Gaming, and adds exclusive games that run only on One Casino. Dutch-speaking croupiers are advertised for the live tables, and an app exists. The terms say the games use third-party software.

8 hours a day, 56 a week: the Dutch limits

Limits are mandatory at registration, because the sign-up cannot be completed without them. The access time limit tops out at 8 hours a day, 56 hours a week and 240 hours a month, or six hours a day under age 24. Raising or removing a limit takes a 7-day cooling-off period, while lowering one is immediate. A reality check message appears every 30 minutes with the session time and the amount won or lost.

Self-exclusion can last 24 hours, 7 days, 1 month or 6 months, and an indefinite exclusion can be reopened only after at least 3 months plus a 7-day wait. After a responsible gaming intervention, bonuses are paused for 30, 60 or 90 days, and for 12 months when addiction risk is suspected. AskGamblers lists reality check as missing, but the casino's own page describes one every 30 minutes. Limits apply only to this licensed brand.

9.8 on CasinoGuru, 25 complaints, 20 rejected

CasinoGuru gives the Dutch review a Safety Index of 9.8, Very high, while its bonus page shows 8.9. It rates the terms mostly fair, flags 1 term issue and finds no blacklist entry. It records 25 complaints: 1 unresolved, 4 resolved and 20 rejected, so 80% of the complaints went against the player. No individual complaint is on file, so no amounts or dates can be quoted.

AskGamblers gives a CasinoRank of 7.4 and a player rating of 7.8 from 13 reviews. Trustpilot's page for the brand, which covers all markets, shows 3.9 stars from 8,851 reviews in an October 2026 record, and the Dutch home page claims 4.0 and more than 8,200 reviews. Complaints go to customer service by chat or phone, and to complaints@onecasino.com. The terms set no response deadline and name the EU online dispute platform, not a Dutch dispute body.

Who One Casino suits and who should look elsewhere

It suits a Dutch resident aged 24 or older who pays by iDEAL, wants slots that count 100% towards a bonus, accepts a €700 net monthly deposit limit and keeps within 8 hours a day of play. It also suits a player who values a Safety Index of 9.8 and a licence valid to 5 October 2027.

It is a poor fit for a player who plays mostly live or table games with a bonus, since they count 20% and 0%, for anyone who may leave a balance untouched for 6 months, and for a player who wants a stated deadline for complaint answers. Players under 24 face the €400 monthly deposit cap and no bonuses at all.
