The casino's own terms, CasinoGuru, AskGamblers and Trustpilot, checked in October 2026. If the casino's site says something else, the casino's site is right.
Superbet Romania (superbet.ro) is a Romanian-licensed casino and sportsbook for players located in Romania, run by Superbet Entertainment Limited of Malta under ONJN licence L1203785W001253, valid to 31.12.2030. This review covers only that Romanian site, read on 01.11.2026. Its own rules are specific: a 2% administration commission on every deposit, a 20,000 RON ceiling per card withdrawal, a 6 RON fee from the second online withdrawal of a day since 01.10.2026, a 1,000 RON deposit cap until verification, and 30 days after the first deposit to verify or the account is closed. Trustpilot shows 1.7 stars from 67 reviews. The figures below come from Superbet's own support pages, checked on 01.11.2026.
Superbet Entertainment Limited, licence L1203785W001253 to 31.12.2030
The footer of Superbet's pages says superbet.ro is owned and operated by Superbet Entertainment Limited, Malta registration C 95830, through its Bucharest branch, registration J2023022589401. The right to organise games rests on licence L1203785W001253, valid from 01.01.2021 to 31.12.2030, and on an operating authorisation from Decision no. 91 of 16.03.2026. Cash top-ups and withdrawals in agencies run through Superbet Retail SA, under payment-processor Decision no. 976 of 26.11.2025.
The homepage advertises over 940 agency locations, more than 17,000 live events, a casino and a live casino section, and a SuperSpin jackpot of 50,000 lei. Superbet also runs Napoleon Games, and a self-exclusion on either platform restricts the other for at least 6 months.
Login only from Romania
Superbet publishes no list of banned countries. Its support page on account problems (updated 16 May 2022) says login is allowed only from Romanian territory, and tells players who are in Romania but locked out to restart the router and remove any app that gives them a non-Romanian IP address. Card deposits need a card issued in Romania, and identity verification takes only a Romanian-issued ID card or residence permit. The pages read mention no other document, so the registration path is built for Romanian residents.
The casino welcome offer on the homepage is a bonus of up to 500 lei on the first deposit with wagering of 1x, and a sports offer of the same size. Details sit on the promotion pages.
2% on every deposit, and the limits by method
Since 20.03.2019 Superbet charges an administration commission of 2% of each deposit, introduced under OUG 114/2018. On a 1,000 RON deposit that is 20 RON; on the 20 RON minimum card deposit it is 0.40 RON. Banks add their own: ING has charged its customers a fee on gambling deposits since 25 May 2021, and Raiffeisen has taken 1% plus 10 lei per deposit since 8 April 2025.
Deposit limits listed on the support page, each applying within 1 day: cash at an agency from 1 RON to 48,000 RON, cards from 20 RON to 48,000 RON, A-bon from 20 RON to 48,000 RON, Paysafecard from 20 RON to 20,000 RON and Aircash from 20 RON to 5,000 RON. The daily deposit limit is 48,000 RON and the limit renews after 24 hours. Paysafecard works for deposits only.
20,000 RON per card withdrawal and a 6 RON second-withdrawal fee
Card withdrawals run from 20 RON to 200,000 RON a day, but no single card transaction may exceed 20,000 RON; a larger request is rejected automatically and must be split. A 60,000 RON win therefore needs 3 card transactions. Since 01.10.2026 the first online withdrawal of a day is free and every further one the same day costs 6 lei, so splitting that win on one day costs 12 RON. The card article says Visa pays up to 200,000 RON per day, while Mastercard is capped at 200,000 RON over 30 days. The method overview calls the card limit unlimited per day, which conflicts with the card article's 200,000 RON per day.
Processing takes 3 to 6 working days after approval. Where the issuing bank enables Visa Direct or Mastercard Moneysend, the money can arrive in about 30 minutes. Agency cash runs from 1 RON to 48,000 RON: up to 5,000 RON is instant and can be collected the same day at any agency, and above that the money is collected the next day, weekends included. Agency cash is limited to 1 withdrawal per day, with 0% commission. Aircash takes 21 RON to 5,000 RON per transaction, and Aircash deposits cap at 5,000 RON too. Withdrawals go only to methods used to deposit, and bank transfer withdrawals ended on 20.07.2026. Two or more methods in 1 day are capped at 48,000 RON in total, which is about 4.2 times lower than the 200,000 RON card ceiling.
30 days from the first deposit to verify
Superbet's verification article gives a firm deadline: 30 days after the first deposit. If the identity is not verified by then, the account is closed automatically after 30 days and the remaining money goes to the state budget under art. 129 of H.G. 111/2016. Until verification a player can deposit at most 1,000 RON in total, and no withdrawal is possible. The 2% commission on that 1,000 RON is 20 RON.
The GetID process, described in an article from 8 August 2024, asks the player to scan a Romanian ID card or residence permit and complete a live face-recognition check. Review takes at most 48 hours and sometimes up to 72 hours. An older article from 2022 says up to 12 hours, exceptionally 36 or 72, so the two pages do not agree. Proof of address must be in the player's name and no older than 6 months, so a bill from 7 months ago fails: a utility bill, a bank statement, a registered lease or life insurance, or an official government letter.
365 days of silence closes the account
An account with no bets, deposits or withdrawals for 365 days is closed. To reopen it the player must make a minimum deposit within 1 day, and if there were no transactions in the previous 12 months a further minimum deposit is needed, otherwise the account closes again. The support pages read mention no inactivity fee, only the 365 days closure.
Self-exclusion lasts at least 6 months, and the operator's register entry can be removed only after 6 months (H.G. 111/2016, art. 132). Superbet's article quotes T&C art. 10.1.7 to say deposits cannot be refunded retroactively, and T&C 13.1.3 for the written self-exclusion route. A voluntary closure can be reversed in writing after 7 days; a break can be set for 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 months or a chosen period up to 6 months. Bet and deposit limits can be set per day, week or month. Closing an account does not erase the data, and an account with transactions cannot be deleted.
1.7 stars from 67 reviews on Trustpilot
Trustpilot rates superbet.ro 1.7 stars from 67 reviews. CasinoGuru and AskGamblers review other Superbet sites (Serbia and Brazil), so their scores are not applied to the Romanian site, and 0 complaint counts, amounts or outcomes exist for it in the sources. Game and provider counts for the Romanian casino are not stated either. Support is by email at suport@superbet.ro and the Help Center; the pages read give no live chat hours, and the SMS code is sent only once every 24 hours.
Who Superbet Romania suits
It suits a Romanian resident with a Romanian ID who wants cash in 940 or more agencies, up to 48,000 RON in cash out, and card payouts in 30 minutes when the bank supports Visa Direct, against 3 to 6 days otherwise. It does not suit anyone outside Romania, anyone who needs a single card payout above 20,000 RON, or a player who expects a free second withdrawal in the same day, since only the first online withdrawal of 24 hours is free. The 2% deposit commission and the 30-day verification deadline apply to everyone.
