The casino's own terms, CasinoGuru, AskGamblers and Trustpilot, checked in October 2026. If the casino's site says something else, the casino's site is right.
Casino Sanremo's online site is run by Casinò di Sanremo S.p.A., a company set up on 18 September 2001 with the City of Sanremo as sole shareholder, under ADM concession 16029 issued on 7 November 2025. It takes Italian players only and asks for an Italian fiscal code. Its payment pages promise withdrawals within 7 days at most for every method, while the contract's own table says 1 to 4 working days for cards and 1 working day for PayPal. Withdrawals by card, Postepay and PayPal have a €10 minimum, the domiciled transfer is capped at €6,000, and a balance untouched for 36 months passes to the state. CasinoGuru gives a Safety Index of 8.5, High, with 0 complaints.
A city-owned company with concession 16029
The operator is Casinò di Sanremo S.p.A. of Corso degli Inglesi 18, Sanremo, which also runs the land casino that opened on 14 January 1905. The 'Chi siamo' page names the Comune di Sanremo as sole shareholder since the company's creation on 18 September 2001. The general conditions, last updated on 13 April 2026, say the remote concession is number 16029, granted by ADM on 7 November 2025 under the tender of legislative decree 41 of 25 March 2024. CasinoGuru confirms licence 16029 as verified and dates the brand to 2008.
There is no list of restricted countries. A client must be 18, hold an Italian fiscal code and have one gaming account, and a PayPal account used to deposit must be registered in Italy, with one PayPal per gaming account. The site also warns that other gambling sites misuse the Sanremo name and gives a phone number to check.
No minimum deposit, no fees, but the payout time is disputed
Deposits run through Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and Google Pay via the Safecharge processor, Postepay, PayPal and bank transfer. Cards, Postepay and PayPal are immediate, and a bank transfer is credited within 24 working hours, with no minimum deposit and no deposit fee.
Withdrawals go to cards, Postepay, PayPal, bank transfer or a domiciled transfer, with no commission, and cards, Postepay and PayPal each need an earlier deposit by the same route. The minimum is €10, except that the contract sets none for bank and domiciled transfers while the payment page shows €10 for the bank transfer. The domiciled transfer, a Poste Italiane service for people without a bank account, tops out at €6,000 and is collected in cash at any post office with ID and fiscal code. Daily, weekly and monthly withdrawal ceilings are not published.
The timings disagree. The payment page says 'entro massimo 7 giorni' for every method. The contract table says cards 1 to 4 working days, PayPal at most 1 working day and bank transfer 1 to 3 working days. A PayPal payout can therefore be promised in 1 working day or in 7 days, depending on which document is read.
Verification: 2 days, 30 days or 60 days
After registration with the ID front and back, the account can deposit and play but not withdraw until the casino has checked the file and, per the FAQ, phoned the client; refusing the call blocks the contract. The FAQ says the document is uploaded at registration or by the next day, and the account is locked on the second day if it is missing. The contract is looser: a rejected document must be resent 'entro 2 giorni' (within 2 days), a valid ID is due 'entro 30 giorni' (within 30 days), and corrections within a 'termine massimo di 60 giorni' (60 days at most), after which the contract ends by law.
Accepted documents include ID card, passport and driving licence, plus gun licence, boating licence, pension booklet and heating technician licence. A fiscal code copy is needed for withdrawals, and the casino may ask for a selfie or a copy of the deposit card. Enhanced checks apply to politically exposed persons and can ask about income and assets, and a deposit limit must be chosen at registration.
36 months, a 75% roulette rule and €100 bonus bets
An account counts as inactive when nobody has logged in for 36 months, and the balance then goes to the state treasury. The casino can cap bet size, deposit size and each withdrawal for transaction safety, with 7 days' notice to the player. If it suspects fraud it can suspend the account for up to '180 giorni' (180 days).
Bonuses are never withdrawable, even when the account is closed. The contract allows one bonus per household and a welcome bonus once per fiscal code, even after closing and reopening. Betting opposite chances on roulette, live or virtual, or covering more than 75% of the table, counts as bad faith, and the bonus can be recovered from the balance. Sports bonus bets are capped at €100 per bet. Players who close an account must wait 15 days before opening a new one, and the casino gives 15 days' notice when it closes one.
About 800 slots and 16 providers
The slots page says there are about 800 slots, from Pragmatic Play, World Match, Tuko, NetEnt, Playtech, Skywind and Play'n GO, with a stated RTP starting at 93% according to the site. CasinoGuru counts 16 providers. The jackpot slots include a Tuko jackpot that paid €4,178.18 on 20 February 2024, followed by €606.09 on 18 March 2024. Live roulette is streamed from the rooms of the Sanremo casino, and the site also offers sports betting, poker, cards, bingo and lotteries.
The bonus page on 1 November 2026 offers 100 free spins worth €0.10 each, €10 in total, with no deposit after ID verification.
Support from 08:00 to 24:00
The helpdesk answers every day from 08:00 to 24:00, which is 16 hours, and staff are employees of the casino. The FAQ gives phone hours of 09:00 to 24:00 for the same line, so the two pages differ by an hour. The responsible gaming page points to the self-limit tools and to self-exclusion, which for the casino rooms can be lifted only after 3 months.
8.5 on CasinoGuru and no complaints
CasinoGuru's Safety Index is 8.5, High, from its page of 21 October 2026. It lists 0 complaints and 1 unfair point in the terms, rating them mostly fair, and the revenue tier is above €1,000,000. AskGamblers has no review, and Trustpilot has no profile for the site, so there are no star ratings or player stories to weigh.
Who Casino Sanremo suits
It suits an Italian player who wants a casino tied to a municipally owned operator and a concession from 2025, deposits with no fee and a €10 payout minimum. It suits someone who can accept a 7 day payout window on paper, and who will send an ID in the first 2 days to avoid a locked account.
It does not suit a player who needs published daily or monthly ceilings, who plays opposite chances on roulette against a 75% coverage rule, or who wants a withdrawable welcome bonus, since bonus funds never leave the account.
