  • CasinoGuru Safety Index9.8/10weight 60%
  • Trustpilot2.4/5weight 10%

Combined: 9.1/10, shown as 4.6/5 on a fixed scale that is the same for every casino.

One source has no data for Jack's Casino, so the remaining weights are scaled up.

How we rate casinos: the full method

Jack's Casino at jacks.nl is a Dutch-market site run by JOI Gaming Limited of Malta under Kansspelautoriteit licence 1959/01.251.761, according to version 1.6 of its general terms, updated 23 February 2026. The terms set a payout rule that is unusual for a casino: money goes back only to the bank account that made the first iDEAL deposit. They also make bonuses available to players aged 24 or older, require deposit limits at registration, and publish a clear complaints timetable of 72 hours, 7 days and 8 weeks. Outside views are mixed: CasinoGuru gives a Safety Index of 9.8, AskGamblers rates players' opinion at 7.8 from 5 reviews, and Trustpilot shows 2.4 stars from 517 reviews. The sections below follow the terms article by article.

JOI Gaming Limited and licence 1959/01.251.761

Article 1 of the terms names JOI as a company registered in Malta under number C66036, licensed by the Kansspelautoriteit from 19 November 2021 under number 1959/01.251.761. A note on the KSA register in the research data lists the licence as number 1959 for the brand Jacks.nl, valid from 20 November 2021 to 20 November 2026, so the two sources differ by one day on the start date. Neither source says whether the licence has been renewed beyond 20 November 2026, so a reader should check the KSA register before depositing near that date.

The register note also shows two related JOI licensees, JOI I Limited (2008) and JOI II Limited (2009), which list no brand. Dutch law governs the contract and Dutch courts have exclusive jurisdiction (article 17.1). Only one account per person is allowed (4.6) and duplicates may be closed (4.7). The service is for the Dutch market: it runs on iDEAL, refers to the CRUKS exclusion register, and the terms exclude anyone registered there (4.2 iii), anyone under guardianship or debt restructuring (4.2 iv and v) and anyone on a sanctions list (4.2 vii). Former employees of JOI, its group or its contractors are refused for 24 months after leaving (4.8).

The first iDEAL deposit decides where every payout goes

Article 6.1.1 lists three deposit routes: iDEAL, 3D Secure credit cards and PayPal. The first deposit, however, must come from the IBAN given at registration (6.1.2). That account becomes the counter account, the only place withdrawals are paid to (6.2.5). The casino's payout page adds that later deposits may use a credit card in the player's own name, and that the bank account is verified automatically during the first deposit. A player who wants winnings on another account has to go through customer service. The new IBAN must be in the player's name, a bank statement may be requested, and if the answer is unclear the old account stays in use (6.2.5). The payout page also says another account must have made at least 1 deposit.

The terms set no minimum withdrawal (6.2.4), and the payout page quotes €0.01 as the minimum. It states that no fee is charged for withdrawals. Article 6.2.2 says requests are processed immediately and without undue delay, and the payout page claims the money is on the bank account within 5 minutes, also at weekends. AskGamblers lists bank transfers at 0-24 hours with a pending time of 0-24 hours. The casino adds that if documents are still needed, the payout can take longer. No weekly or monthly withdrawal cap is stated anywhere in the pages read.

Deposit limits: €350 a month is the point where JOI phones you

Article 9.1.2 makes limits compulsory at registration: a deposit limit per day, week or month, a balance limit and a session limit. The payout page gives €14,990 per day as the maximum deposit limit. Lowering a limit takes effect at once, but raising one takes at least a week.

Article 9.2.1 adds a human step. For players aged 24 or older, a deposit limit above €350 per month, €87.50 per week (when no monthly limit is set) or €12.50 per day (when neither is set) becomes final only after JOI has contacted the player. For players from 18 to 23 the figures are lower: €150 per month, €37.50 per week and €5.35 per day. A player who wants to deposit €500 a month must therefore expect a conversation first. Lowering a limit triggers no contact (9.2.2).

The balance limit works the other way round. When the balance rises above it, play stops and the player must withdraw at least the excess before continuing. The casino may also intervene without consent: article 8.2 lists calls and emails, tighter limits, product exclusion, account termination and a CRUKS referral, and 8.3 says some measures can be taken without the player's agreement.

Verification under article 5, with no deadline stated

Checks happen at registration and may be repeated later (5.1 and 5.2), for money-laundering and fraud reasons. JOI may ask for identity documents, proof of address or financial statements (5.3). Until the documents arrive it may restrict or suspend the account, and if checks are not completed to its satisfaction it ends the account (5.4). Registration itself completes only after the legal checks (4.5).

What the terms do not give is a list of accepted documents or a number of days to respond. That matters because article 6.2.3 allows JOI to hold the balance while any check is open, and article 12.2.3 lists an unfinished verification of a new bank account as one reason a payout may not be made at termination. The 5-minute payout claim therefore applies to a player with no open check; the casino itself says documents can make it slower.

Rules that can cost money: 18 months, no reasons, and held balances

An account is inactive after 18 months without a login (article 10.1). No inactivity fee is stated. If the balance is zero the casino may close the account at no cost; if it is positive, JOI tries to pay it to the counter account and may ask for extra verification (10.2).

The sharper clauses are in article 12. JOI may restrict, suspend or end an account on reasonable grounds, including suspected breach of terms, suspected semi-professional use, fraud, collusion or unlawful financial activity (12.2.1), and it has no duty to explain (12.2.2 and 12.3.3). On termination the balance is paid out unless verification is incomplete, an authority instructs otherwise, an investigation is open, or an investigation has concluded that payout must be refused (12.2.3). In those cases JOI may keep the balance (12.2.4). On suspected fraud it may also withdraw bonuses and correct results (12.2.6). Automated play with bots, scripts or AI tools is banned (11.2). Article 14.4 says JOI is not liable for losses caused by blocking or closing an account.

The terms do not publish a list of restricted countries. Article 1 only defines a restricted area as a place where gambling is prohibited plus FATF high-risk jurisdictions, and article 4.10 says use from such an area is not possible, though a withdrawal can still be requested through customer service. Wagering also applies without a bonus: a deposit must be bet at least once before payout, so a €20 deposit needs €20 of bets.

€250 at 20x: what the welcome bonus asks for

The bonus page gives only a short mention here, since the full terms are on the bonus article. The casino welcome is 100% up to €250 on one deposit, for new players aged 24 or older. Wagering is 20 times the bonus, so €250 of bonus means €5,000 of bets. The maximum bet is €6 per spin or €0.50 per line, which means at least 834 spins to clear €5,000. The bonus lasts 30 days. Slots count 100% except a long excluded list at 0%, virtual sports count 50%, and live casino, RNG tables and instant win games count 0%.

The whole balance is locked until the bonus is cleared or cancelled. The terms give an example: a €50 deposit plus €50 bonus makes €100; after losing €30 and cancelling, only €20 of the original deposit can be withdrawn. An alternative is €50 of free spins worth €1 each, unlocked after betting €25 on slots, with winnings free of wagering. Only one of the two casino offers can be taken.

More than 3,600 slots and a 24/7 support line

The homepage claims more than 3,600 slots, plus a live casino, sports betting and an arcade section, and shows its own JACKS.NL titles and Bellot games. The bonus pages name Playson and Relax titles, and the homepage promotes Wazdan as provider of the month. A provider count is not stated.

Article 15.1 promises customer service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by email at klantenservice@jacks.nl, live chat at jacks.nl/help and phone on 0800-7777700. The responsible gambling page lists tips, limits, time-out and self-exclusion, a self-test, a budget calculator and help organisations. AskGamblers marks deposit limits, time limits, self-exclusion and cool-off as present, and wager limits, loss limits, reality checks and a self-assessment test as missing.

One CasinoGuru complaint, a 9.8 that wavers, and 2.4 stars

CasinoGuru records a Safety Index of 9.8, Very high, in the page header, but the same page also shows 8.0 and 8.9 elsewhere, so the figure is not fully consistent. It rates the terms as mostly fair with 5 issues found, does not blacklist the casino and records 1 complaint, rejected, with no further detail in the sources. AskGamblers shows a player rating of 7.8 from 5 reviews and marks the listing as terminated, with no CasinoRank. Trustpilot shows 2.4 stars from 517 reviews; no individual review text was read, so the reasons behind the low score are not documented here.

The casino's own complaint procedure is specific. Complaints go to klachten@jacks.nl and must include email, name and date of birth. Receipt is confirmed within 72 hours, a refusal to handle it is notified within 7 days, and the case is closed within 8 weeks at most. Claims about a transaction must be filed within 6 months, and the decision is final. A player who files on day 1 of a dispute can wait up to 8 weeks for the answer.

Who Jack's Casino suits and who should look elsewhere

It suits a Dutch player who pays by iDEAL from a bank account in his or her own name, wants withdrawals on that same account, and is at least 24 if the welcome bonus matters. It also suits someone who expects to set a deposit limit at or below €350 a month and values a 24/7 phone line.

It is a poor fit for a player who wants payouts to a different or shared account, who wants a published document deadline, or who wants wagering-free play from a €250 bonus, since 20x means €5,000 of bets. It is also a weak choice for anyone under 24 who wants a bonus, because the terms exclude them. A player with a Trustpilot score of 2.4 in mind, and a licence listed to 20 November 2026, should check both before depositing.
