How Shuffle got 2.8/5

The rating is calculated the same way for every casino, from three independent sources:

  • CasinoGuru Safety Index4.8/10weight 60%
  • AskGamblers CasinoRank5.2/10weight 30%

Combined: 4.9/10, shown as 2.8/5 on a fixed scale that is the same for every casino.

One source has no data for Shuffle, so the remaining weights are scaled up.

How we rate casinos: the full method

Shuffle is a crypto-first casino and sportsbook run by Natural Nine B.V. of Curacao under licence OGL/2024/1337/0628. Its terms are unusually specific about what the operator may do and vague about what the player can count on: no withdrawal limit is published, the identity check comes before the first withdrawal, 14 jurisdictions are barred, and Shuffle's liability is capped at $100 or less. Outside records disagree sharply. CasinoGuru gives a Safety Index of 4.8 (Low) with 7 complaints, while AskGamblers lists 75 complaints, 63 of them resolved. This review sets the terms against those records.

Natural Nine B.V. and a licence named two ways

Clause 1.1 of the terms names Natural Nine B.V., Korporaalweg 10, Willemstad, Curacao, registered under Chamber of Commerce number 160998, and states licence OGL/2024/1337/0628 from the Curacao Gaming Authority. The home page gives the same number but calls the regulator the Curacao Gaming Control Board, so the two official texts do not agree on the regulator's name. CasinoGuru records Natural Nine B.V. as owner, 2023 as the founding year and Curacao as the licence country. No sister casino run by the same company turned up in the sources.

Governing law is Curacao (clause 20.1). Players waive class actions and jury trials (20.3). A complaint goes first to support@shuffle.com, and if the answer does not satisfy, to the Curacao Gaming Authority (18.2). Clause 16.3 caps Shuffle's total liability at the lowest of three figures: the account balance, the deposits of the previous 12 months, or $100. For a player with a $5,000 balance, the cap on a liability claim is therefore $100 at most, not $5,000. The English version of the terms prevails (2.3).

21 crypto assets, a $10,000 fiat ceiling and no published withdrawal limit

The help centre lists 21 assets for both deposits and withdrawals: Bitcoin, Ethereum on several networks, Litecoin, Tron, Ripple, Solana, Dogecoin, BNB, Avalanche, the site's own SHFL and CASH tokens, and USDT and USDC on up to six networks each. Wrong networks are the main hazard. The help page warns that USDC or USDT sent on an unsupported chain may not be recovered, and that USDC is supported only on Arbitrum with one named contract address. Clause 9.17 adds that recovery, where attempted, can be charged at cost. The blockchain fee comes out of the withdrawn amount and the withdrawal cannot be reversed.

Speed is claimed rather than documented. The home page says 90% of withdrawals arrive in under one minute and that fees are typically under $1. AskGamblers records e-wallet withdrawals at 0 to 1 hours, crypto at 0 to 24 hours and pending time at 0 to 24 hours. Terms clause 7.2 states that no payment method will necessarily be processed within a given time. Minimum and maximum deposits and the minimum withdrawal are not in the terms: clauses 9.4 and 10.6 say they are shown in the cashier.

For Canadian players the help centre gives hard numbers: Interac e-Transfer deposits take instant to 15 minutes and withdrawals instant to 30 minutes, each transaction runs from $5 to $10,000, and Shuffle charges no fee. A CAD win of $25,000 would need three withdrawals under that ceiling. Pix, SPEI, VietQR and Mercado Pago have their own articles. AskGamblers, by contrast, lists cards and bank transfers as not offered, which conflicts with the Interac and Pix routes the site itself names.

  • Deposit turnover (clause 10.2): 100% of each deposit must be wagered before it can be withdrawn, except a crypto withdrawal to the same wallet on the same network
  • Withdrawals go back in the deposit currency and can be split across the deposit methods (10.3)
  • Daily, weekly and monthly withdrawal caps: not stated in the terms or help pages read

Verification comes before the first withdrawal, not at sign-up

The home page tells new players that no lengthy verification is needed to get started, and that is true for registration. Clause 5.2 then asks for a government ID check at a threshold Shuffle sets from time to time and in any event before the first withdrawal. The threshold amount is not published. Level 2 verification is proof of identity: passport, ID card or driving licence (both sides), or residence permit, as an original photo, never a screenshot, valid for at least 3 months. Level 3 is proof of address, with twelve accepted document types, most of them dated within the last 3 months; a tax bill may be up to 1 year old.

The CAD article says the review takes a few minutes. Clause 5.4 allows more: source of funds or wealth evidence such as bank statements, payslips or tax records, with deposits, wagering or withdrawals restricted until it is assessed. If identity cannot be verified, clause 5.6 lets Shuffle close the account, return verified deposits less deductions, and forfeit winnings. A player who clears the check on day one has little to fear; a player whose documents fail after a win will find no deadline or appeal period in the terms.

14 barred jurisdictions and the VPN clause

Clause 8.3 bars persons located or resident in Australia, the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, Curacao, Cyprus, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom and the United States, plus any place where licensing would be required or that is embargoed by the US, EU or UK. That is 14 named jurisdictions; Curacao itself is on the list. Clause 8.4 treats a VPN, proxy or false address as a breach, and clause 6.1 lets Shuffle examine device properties, geolocation, IP masking and blockchain transactions to find it.

The cost of a breach is spelled out: clause 3.6 allows the operator to void bets, withhold or forfeit balances and cancel winnings. Under that clause, a €3,000 win made from a barred location could be cancelled in full; no threshold is mentioned.

One account, no stacking, and 27 months of silence

Clauses 4.1 to 4.4 allow one account per person. Anyone sharing a household, device, IP address or payment credential with another account holder must report the link, and unreported links may be closed with balances frozen or forfeited. Clause 3.8 bans bonus stacking, hedging across accounts or platforms, bots and bug exploitation, with winnings deductible. Clause 10.8 makes mistakenly credited sums Shuffle's property, deductible later; clause 10.4 lets it delay withdrawals during an investigation it may not be able to explain.

Two clauses favour the player. Clause 10.10 says a responsible-gambling measure such as a cooling-off period will not block a legitimate withdrawal, and clause 19.2 says no one is excluded solely because of the amount won. No fee is attached to an idle account: under clause 11.6 Shuffle may email after 24 months of inactivity and, if the account stays idle for a further 3 months, close it and deal with the balance as the law requires. That is 27 months in total. Terms contain no maximum win cap and no maximum bet rule outside individual promotions.

Rewards in one paragraph

No fixed welcome offer is published on shuffle.com. Clause 13.10 says a promotion not visible in the Promotions section of the account cannot be claimed, whatever an affiliate said, and clause 13.8 lets Shuffle cancel bonuses unclaimed after the shorter of the claim period or 60 days. The bonus page on this site covers rakeback, the 8 VIP tiers and the weekly race; Shuffle's own help centre puts rakeback at 5% of the house edge.

15,000 titles claimed, 43 providers counted

The home page claims more than 15,000 casino titles, plus a sportsbook and Originals such as Crash, Plinko, Mines, Dice, Limbo and Keno. It states Originals return from 97.30% on Roulette to 99.48% on Blackjack with correct play, and that Plinko has a 1% house edge. Those are the operator's figures, not an audit. CasinoGuru counts 43 game providers, and the home page names Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw, Nolimit City, BGaming and Evolution. Sports bets earn 3x VIP experience points, and Shuffle is the sleeve partner of Sunderland AFC.

75 complaints on AskGamblers, 7 on CasinoGuru

The records differ by a factor of ten. CasinoGuru shows 7 complaints, a Safety Index of 4.8 (Low) and a T&C rating of fair. AskGamblers shows 75 complaints, 63 resolved, with an average amount of $3,308, an average duration of 9 days and an average response time of 2 days; in its payment category 60 of 68 were resolved. Its CasinoRank is 5.2 and the player rating is 6.9 from 24 reviews. Open cases include a rejected 516 USDT withdrawal submitted on 15 August 2026 and €17,196 in review since 31 July 2026.

Trustpilot shows no TrustScore: the page says it is unavailable because of a breach of guidelines, with fake reviews removed. It counts 1,098 reviews, 499 of them in the last 12 months, with 56% at one star and 37% at five. Reviewers describe a $60 promo code credited as $20 (26 March 2026) and monthly rewards of $13 on 100,000 wagered (17 March 2026). Praise centres on fast withdrawals, rakeback and the absence of playthrough.

Limits that exist, and who this suits

Shuffle's help centre describes wager and loss limits for 1 day, 1 week or 1 month; either one reached stops play, and any change needs a 1-day cooling-off period. AskGamblers confirms those two plus self-exclusion, and records no deposit limit, time limit, reality check or self-assessment test.

The profile that fits is a player in a permitted country who holds crypto already, can pass a Level 2 check before the first withdrawal, and treats the 21-asset list and the same-network withdrawal rule as routine. It does not fit someone who needs a published daily or monthly withdrawal ceiling before depositing, who lives in any of the 14 barred jurisdictions, or who relies on a VPN. A player who wants a deposit limit set in advance will find only wager and loss limits.
