The casino's own terms, CasinoGuru, AskGamblers and Trustpilot, checked in October 2026. If the casino's site says something else, the casino's site is right.
Caxino is a 2020 Malta casino whose terms, version 5.0 of 11 February 2025, set specific costs: a 5% fee (minimum €10) on a withdrawal when the deposit has not been staked, a €5 monthly inactivity fee after 12 months, extra checks above €2,000 and a 3-day decision on every withdrawal. CasinoGuru gives a Safety Index of 9.8, Very high, yet records 14 complaints, 12 of them rejected, and Trustpilot shows only 1.4 stars from 58 reviews. This review reads the terms clause by clause, sets them against the review sites and points out where the sources name different operators, licences and currencies.
Rootz Limited, Granturo Malta Ltd and two MGA licence numbers
Clause 1.1 of the terms names Rootz Limited, registration C83903, with its registered office on Dun Karm Street, Malta, as the contracting company. Clause 1.2 gives licence MGA/B2C/599/2018, issued on 30 April 2019, for Type 1 and Type 2 gaming. CasinoGuru lists a different company, Granturo Malta Ltd, with licence MGA/B2C/1079/2025, which it marks as verified, and dates the brand to 2020. The data held for the casino names Rootz Limited as owner. The two sources disagree on who operates the casino and under which licence number.
The English version prevails (clause 1.10), the minimum age is 18 (4.2) and Maltese courts have exclusive jurisdiction (21.2). Sports, horse racing and virtual sports products come from Altenar Software Limited, MGA/B2B/582/2018 (4.15). CasinoGuru estimates yearly revenue above €5,000,000, rates the terms Mostly fair with 1 issue found, and shows no blacklist entry.
Wins above €50,000 paid at €10,000 a day
Clause 7.11 lets the casino pay a win above €50,000 in instalments of up to €10,000 per day, €25,000 per week or €100,000 a month, and VIP players may get other limits. The data held lists €10,000 a day and €100,000 a month, which matches. A win of €75,000 would therefore take 8 days at the daily cap, and a win of €250,000 would take 3 months at the monthly cap. Smaller wins are not limited by the terms.
Every withdrawal request is approved or denied within 3 days (7.9), and funds go back by the deposit method where possible, only to the registered account holder (7.4). A bank can add its own handling charge. AskGamblers lists e-wallets at 0 to 24 hours, cards at 24 to 72 hours, bank at 1 to 5 days and a pending period of 0 to 72 hours, so a bank payout can take up to 8 days: 72 hours pending plus 5 days in transit. The data held gives cards as 1 to 3 days. Deposits post within one minute of confirmation (6.9).
The 5% fee, minimum €10, on an unstaked deposit
Clause 7.15 allows a fee of 5% of the requested withdrawal, with a minimum of €10, when the player asks for money without having turned over the deposit. On a €500 withdrawal the fee is €25, and the €10 floor already applies to any request below €200, where the fee is more than 5%. Clause 7.12 also requires a real-money deposit that has been sufficiently wagered, and clause 6.13 goes further: where the casino suspects abuse, it may cancel deposits, confiscate funds including winnings and close the account without warning. Clause 7.10 treats a single bet of 30% or more of the balance during bonus wagering as irregular play, which on a €200 balance means any bet from €60.
Customer funds are kept in separate designated bank accounts that the terms say are protected if the company becomes insolvent (7.16).
Thirteen ways in, seven ways out, and a currency conflict
The data held lists 13 deposit methods: Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, Payz, MuchBetter, Paysafecard, Trustly, Apple Pay, Revolut, MiFinity, AstroPay and Neosurf. Withdrawals are limited to 7: Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, Payz, MuchBetter and bank transfer. CasinoGuru counts 19 payment methods in all. AskGamblers marks crypto as not offered. Clause 6.12 says the casino accepts euros only and that any conversion premium falls on the player, yet the data held lists 7 currencies: EUR, NOK, CAD, INR, JPY, NZD and USD. A player outside the euro zone should treat the terms as the stricter statement.
A €2,000 trigger counted three ways
Clause 5.22 requires extra verification for any transaction above €2,000, or for cumulative transactions above €2,000, counted daily, since the start of the relationship or over a rolling 180 days. Documents named are a passport or national ID, utility bills and copies of the cards used for deposits. Clause 5.8 lets the casino run background checks at any time, including source of funds and source of wealth. A player who deposits €400 a month passes €2,000 in 5 months on the cumulative count. No time limit for the review itself is stated, so the 3-day decision of clause 7.9 realistically starts only when documents are accepted.
€5 a month after 12 months, and a 15% duplicate-account charge
An account with no login for over 12 months can be charged €5.00 a month until it reaches zero, with 30 days' notice before it becomes inactive (5.12). That is €60 a year, and a €30 balance is gone after 6 charges. A duplicate account costs an administrative fee of 15%, minimum €30, for each extra account, and its bets can be voided (4.1). Only one account is allowed per household, IP address and device (5.4), and a VPN is banned (4.20).
Other clauses that cost money: a chargeback request blocks the account, fees may apply and the rest of the balance is treated as inactive funds (6.15); mistaken credits stay the casino's property (5.23); and liability is capped at €100 (15.10). The casino is the final decider of whether a rule was broken (16.3), and its server records are final (15.2). The terms name no countries: clause 4.9 points to a list of registration countries, and the data held blocks 17 codes, among them US, CY, CW, IR and SY.
Ten days to answer a complaint, then eCOGRA
Clause 14.2 promises the outcome of a complaint within 10 days of receipt, extendable by a further 10 days. Clause 14.3 names eCOGRA, registered in Malta, as the independent alternative dispute resolution provider, and clause 14.5 sends complaints about the licence to the Malta Gaming Authority. A €1,000 dispute over a withheld withdrawal therefore has an outside route named in the terms. The terms set no deadline for filing a complaint.
96 providers, one welcome offer and the limits tools
CasinoGuru counts 96 game providers and live chat around the clock. AskGamblers records one welcome offer, 100% up to €200 plus 100 free spins, whose wagering terms the sources do not give. Clause 9 offers deposit, loss and wagering limits per day, week or month. A lowered limit applies at once, a raised one only after 24 hours (9.3). It also covers session time limits (9.5), a reality check message every 60 minutes as an example (9.6), time out with a 24-hour cooling-off and an indefinite self-exclusion that can be lifted after 7 days (9.7). AskGamblers marks reality check and cool-off as missing, which conflicts with those clauses. A player closed for gambling addiction is closed on all Rootz brands (9.12).
14 complaints, 12 rejected, 1.4 stars
CasinoGuru records 14 complaints: 12 rejected, 1 resolved, 1 unresolved and none open. Rejections are 86% of the total. AskGamblers shows a CasinoRank of 7.6 and a player rating of 7.7 from 16 reviews. Trustpilot shows 1.4 stars from 58 reviews. The sources do not give the amounts, countries or dates of the complaints, so the gap between a 9.8 Safety Index and a 1.4 Trustpilot score cannot be traced to a case.
Who Caxino suits and who should look elsewhere
It suits a euro player who wagers each deposit before cashing out, so the 5% fee never applies, and who can accept a 3-day decision and a bank payout of up to 8 days. It also suits someone who wants an ADR body named in the terms. It does not suit a player who deposits and withdraws without staking, who plans to leave a balance idle for 12 months, or who wants a crypto route, since AskGamblers lists none.
