How we rate casinos: the full method

Cloudbet is a crypto-only casino and sportsbook run by Halcyon Super Holdings B.V. under Curacao licence OGL/2024/328/0599, issued on 27 May 2025, and it has operated since 2013. Its terms set no fixed withdrawal cap and crypto cashouts are typically processed within 24 hours of approval. The catch is verification: KYC is required once cumulative deposits reach $2,200, and a player must wager 100% of deposits before taking them out. CasinoGuru gives a Safety Index of 9.2, AskGamblers a CasinoRank of 5.1 and Trustpilot 3.9 stars from 2,664 reviews. Germany, France, Spain, the UK and the Netherlands are barred.

Licence OGL/2024/328/0599, issued 27 May 2025, and a Curacao court clause

The terms name the operator as Halcyon Super Holdings B.V., company number 148526, registered in Willemstad, Curacao. The licence is from the Curacao Gaming Authority with the number OGL/2024/328/0599. AskGamblers calls the regulator the Curacao Gaming Control Board and gives no number, so the sources differ on the name of the authority but not on the country. Payments are processed by Solas Technologies Limited in Limassol, Cyprus, according to the terms footer. Both review sites give 2013 as the launch year, which makes this a 13-year-old brand.

Disputes follow Curacao law and go to Curacao courts (clauses 22.3 and 22.4). A player first writes to support@cloudbet.com and can then go to CADRE, an independent dispute service (22.1 and 22.2). Bet disputes must be raised within 30 days (10.25).

16 deposit coins, 17 ways out, no cards and no stated withdrawal cap

AskGamblers lists 16 deposit methods: Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Tether, Litecoin, Ripple, TRON, Binance Coin, MoonPay, Dogecoin, DAI, Dash, USD Coin, Cardano, Solana and Zcash. CasinoGuru counts 33 payment methods in total. Withdrawals have 17 options: the same coins plus Vega Wallet, Jeton and bank wire. Card payments are not offered in either direction. The minimum deposit is 0.0000001 BTC and the minimum withdrawal is not stated.

Clause 7.5.3 lets a player withdraw up to the account balance, and AskGamblers shows no daily, weekly or monthly limit. Clause 7.5.11 says crypto is typically processed within 24 hours of approval, and AskGamblers lists crypto and e-wallets at 0-24 hours, a pending time of 0-24 hours and bank transfers at 1-5 days. A bank wire therefore takes up to 6 calendar days from the request. Weekend cashouts are not offered, so a request made on Friday evening may wait until Monday. One point that is easy to miss: clause 7.1.10 allows a handling charge of up to 5% on deposits and withdrawals, while AskGamblers records no fees, and clause 7.3.8 lets Cloudbet deduct deposit costs from a withdrawal if they exceed the player's net revenue since the first deposit.

Two sources also disagree on the biggest payout. Clause 13.4 limits a parlay, accumulator or combo payout to €1,000,000, while AskGamblers lists a maximum combo payout of €300,000.

Why the $2,200 deposit line matters more than the first withdrawal

Clause 21.1.5 requires verification when cumulative deposits reach or exceed $2,200, and Cloudbet may also verify at any time, restricting deposits and withdrawals while it does. A player who deposits $500 a week passes the line in 5 weeks. The documents named in clauses 7.5.7 and 21.1.1 are a passport or driver licence, a recent utility bill as proof of address, a card and a photo of the player holding dated ID materials. Checks are run by Sumsub (21.1.3), and phone verification may be required before rewards can be claimed (9.5.8).

AskGamblers puts verification speed at 0-1 hour. The complaints show the other side: a player with a $1,142 balance says the account was locked after a first withdrawal request on 10 July 2026 and has received only automated replies since.

100% playthrough, a $5 monthly dormancy fee and the betting integrity clause

Clause 8.8 says a player must wager at least the total of all deposits, a 100% playthrough, before withdrawing deposited funds, though Cloudbet may reduce it. Depositing $1,000 and holding it means $1,000 of bets before any of it can leave. For bonus wagering, slots with RTP above 99.5% and live or virtual table games count only 10% (8.5).

Accounts count as dormant after 12 months without a login, bet, deposit or withdrawal (7.1.11). Cloudbet then may charge $5 per month, never below a zero balance, and funds are not forfeited otherwise. That is $60 a year.

The clause that produces most of the complaints is the integrity review. Clause 10.13 lets Cloudbet set aside winnings during an investigation, 11.1 allows withholding if breaches are suspected, 10.20 voids bets from restricted jurisdictions and 16.1 prohibits bots or AI to defeat its systems. Any bet above the automatic acceptance level that is not approved manually before the event starts is voided in full (13.2). Only one account is allowed per customer, IP address, household or phone number (7.1.12), which matters for shared flats and family members.

More than 20 barred countries, from Germany to the USA

Clause 7.1.3 lists restricted jurisdictions: Australia, Austria, Belgium, China with Macau and Hong Kong, Curacao itself, Cuba, France, Germany, Iran, Japan, Lithuania, Malta, Myanmar, the Netherlands, North Korea, Singapore, Syria, Spain, Turkey, the USA and its territories, the United Kingdom, and the regions of Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk. Cloudbet may check a player's location at any time (7.1.5). The terms contain no VPN clause, only the physical location rule in 7.1.3.

The $2,500 welcome package, in one paragraph

It is not a match bonus. The welcome package is a 30-day rewards programme of up to $2,500 built from rakeback (10% of the house edge on casino bets) and cash drops, and each unlocked reward must be claimed within 24 hours. The Cloudbet bonus page has the mechanics; the point here is that forfeiting a bonus also forfeits the winnings tied to it (8.9) and that all rewards are lost if the account is closed (9.15).

67 providers, no game count and no audited RTP

AskGamblers lists 67 providers with more behind a show-more link, and CasinoGuru counts 70. Named studios include Evolution Gaming, NetEnt, Play'n GO, Pragmatic Play, Playtech, Booming Games, Relax Gaming, Spribe and Nolimit City. The total number of games is not stated, RTP is not publicly audited, RNG testing is marked No and there is no game history feature. Progressive jackpots exist but are paid in instalments. There is no dedicated mobile app, which AskGamblers lists as a drawback, and the sportsbook shares the account with the casino.

102 complaints, 85 resolved, and a $27,808 average

AskGamblers counts 102 complaints in its comparison table and 97 in its statistics block, with 85 resolved in both. Payment is the biggest category, with 62 of 69 resolved. The average complaint is $27,808, and the average case lasts 8 days. Response time is 2 days. CasinoRank has moved from 3.8 on 15 October to 5.4 on 29 October and 5.1 on the page on 31 October, so the score is not stable. The player rating is 8.6 out of 10 from 108 reviews.

The cases are specific. One player's account was restricted for a betting integrity review after a withdrawal request of about 317 SOL, roughly $30,486, on 27 October 2026, and was told the review could take up to 6 months. Another says permanent self-exclusion was requested in March 2025 and that 0.6957 ETH was lost on 21 October 2026, and asks for reimbursement. An earlier case from 29 October describes 3.688 ETH held for about 7 months. Trustpilot is more positive: 3.9 stars from 2,664 reviews, 69% at 5 stars and 21% at 1 star, with the company replying to 86% of negative reviews. CasinoGuru's Safety Index is 9.2, Very high, with fair terms, in the 15 October 2026 record.

Four of ten tools present, 6 self-exclusion lengths and English-only support

AskGamblers confirms a deposit limit, self-exclusion, a cool-off and a self-assessment test, and finds no wager limit, loss limit, time limit, reality check, withdrawal lock or register participation. Self-exclusion periods run 24 hours, 1 week, 1 month, 6 months, 1 year or permanent. The self-exclusion complaint above shows why the tool matters more than the list. Live chat is open 24/7, email and an FAQ exist, and support is in English only even though the site is offered in 18 languages.

Who Cloudbet suits, with numbers

It suits a crypto holder in a permitted country who can accept that $2,200 of deposits triggers full documents, who wants 24-hour crypto cashouts without a stated cap, and who is comfortable with a Curacao court. It does not suit anyone in Germany, France, Spain, the UK or the Netherlands, anyone who wants card deposits, anyone who needs help in another language than English, or a player planning a very large single win, where the integrity review clause has produced the most reported holds. Keeping the balance under $2,200 of lifetime deposits until the documents are ready avoids the surprise, though it only postpones the check.
