The casino's own terms, CasinoGuru, AskGamblers and Trustpilot, checked in October 2026. If the casino's site says something else, the casino's site is right.
StarCasino.it is an Italian ADM casino run by Azzurri LTD of Malta under concession 16026, and it accepts players in Italy only. Its own rules set a clear frame: a €5 minimum deposit, withdrawals credited within 7 days of the request, an identity document due within 30 days of registration, automatic closure after 36 months without a login, and default limits of €200 a day for deposits and €100 a day for spending. The outside record is mixed. CasinoGuru gives a Safety Index of 9.8, Very high, with 13 complaints of which 11 were rejected, while Trustpilot scores 1.9 from 778 reviews and AskGamblers has a CasinoRank of 6.6. This review follows the terms version dated 13/11/2025 and sets them against those scores.
Azzurri LTD and ADM concession 16026
The site is run by Azzurri LTD, registered at 199 Experience Centre, Ta' Xbiex Seafront, Ta' Xbiex XBX 1027, Malta, with tax code 97530140587. The footer and the support centre both print concession number 16026. An older version of the rules page shows concession 15230 under the name BML Group Ltd, and AskGamblers also names BML Group Ltd as the company, so the number and company name differ by source. The concession agreement is dated 29/12/2011. The site describes itself as part of the Betsson group and says it started in 2012, while CasinoGuru gives 2013.
Italian law governs the terms (clause 13) and the minimum age is 18. Complaints about the casino games go to the Agenzia delle Dogane e dei Monopoli (ADM), Piazza Mastai 11, 00153 Rome, by registered letter or email (clause 14). The site lists no country list. It is built for the Italian market and shows a notice that it is not available in other countries, so players outside Italy should treat it as closed.
Deposits from €5, withdrawals within 7 days
The home page names 12 deposit routes: Visa, Postepay, CartaSi, Mastercard, PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, OnShop, Paysafecard, ePay, MuchBetter and MyBank, with a minimum of €5. The terms list withdrawals by Visa and Postepay cards, PayPal, Skrill, Neteller and bank transfer. Review data also lists MuchBetter, Google Pay and Apple Pay for withdrawals, which the terms do not mention. The account is in euros, and any other currency is converted at the casino's own rate (Gestione conto, 1.6).
The terms say withdrawals are credited within 7 days of the request, with the value date equal to the request date (clause 5). The home page claims an average deposit time of 1 minute and an "immediate" average withdrawal, with a note that security checks can take longer. AskGamblers lists e-wallets at 24 hours, cards at 2 to 5 days and bank transfers at 5 to 7 days. A bank payout at the top of that range plus the 7-day contract ceiling is therefore the figure to plan around, not the 1-minute headline. Several requests made within 2 business days with the same method may be paid in a single transfer.
Two rules shape where the money can go. Anyone who deposited with PayPal can withdraw only to the same PayPal account, up to the amount deposited, starting from the oldest deposit. And only winnings can be withdrawn, never bonus credit. On fees the casino contradicts itself: clause 7 says it charges nothing on deposits and withdrawals, while the account and payments rules say some methods may carry a fee and the player's bank may add its own. Third-party data cites a €2,000 PayPal ceiling and €10,000 for cards per withdrawal, but the casino's own pages state no withdrawal maximum.
- Minimum deposit: €5
- Withdrawal credited within 7 days of request (clause 5)
- Extra checks on any win above €2,000 (Gestione conto, 1.12)
- No interest on the balance, no transfers between accounts
30 days to send an ID, 60 more before the contract ends
Verification here runs on a clock. The player must upload an identity document within 30 days of registration, and no win can be collected until identity is verified. If the data are wrong or incomplete, or no document arrives in 30 days, the account is suspended. The suspension lasts up to 60 days, after which the contract ends by right and the account is no longer reachable (clause 5). In the longest case that is 90 days from sign-up.
Before any withdrawal the casino asks for a document, and the terms add that it may ask for a front and back photo of the credit card used for deposits (Gestione conto, 2.4). Files must be under 3 MB in JPG, GIF or PDF format and go through the Documenti section of the account. Verification also releases 50 free spins on Sweet Bonanza 1000 with no deposit, according to the home page FAQ.
36 months of silence sends the balance to the state
The rule with the highest stakes is dormancy. An account is closed automatically when the player has not logged in for 36 months, and the funds left in it go to the state treasury. A voluntary closure, by contrast, refunds the remaining funds minus bonuses (clause 5). That is not a fee, but it is a loss of the whole balance after 3 years.
Other clauses that can cost money: a withdrawal request made before the bonus is credited or before the wagering is met cancels the bonus and its winnings (clause 4). Credits made in error stay the casino's property and are debited, and funds already withdrawn become a debt to the casino (Gestione conto, 1.11). If the software wrongly awards a win, the casino may adjust the balance (clause 6.2). A temporary suspension is notified to the authorities, with a decision within 180 days (clause 6.6). Ten wrong passwords in a row block the account. In live games, a player who disconnects mid-hand is treated as standing. The terms can change at any time, with notice by email, and continued play counts as acceptance (clause 1).
The cashback bonus in short: 50% up to €2,000
The welcome offer is a 50% cashback on net losses up to €2,000, plus 50 free spins on verification. The home banner says up to €2,050 of cashback, €100 free and 50 free spins; review data ties the extra to SPID sign-up, so the €2,000 and €2,050 figures conflict. To collect the full €2,000 a player would need €4,000 of net losses, and €4,100 of net losses for the €2,050 banner figure; adding the €100 free credit gives a headline of €2,150. Bonuses are Fun Bonus, wagered at 35x by default and valid for 3 days; a €20 bonus at 35x means €700 of play in 3 days, per the site's own example, and a €100 bonus would need €3,500 of play in the same 3 days. Games count at different rates: on a game with a 10% contribution, each €1 staked adds only €0.10 towards the target. The bonus then turns into Real Bonus, valid for 7 days and played through once more. Fun Bonus cannot be used on sports betting, progressive jackpots or build-up bonus slots. The bonus page has the details.
Games: 106 providers on the filter, 8000 titles claimed
The game count depends on the page. The SEO text on the home page says more than 8000 online games, the about text says more than 6000, and an older copy of the rules page said more than 3800. The provider filter shows 106 providers, while CasinoGuru counts 94. Named studios include Big Time Gaming, ELK Studios, NoLimit City, Pragmatic Play, Play'n GO, Greentube and Evolution. The live lobby offers Crazy Time Italia, an Italian-language Blackjack from Evolution and Gates of Olympus Roulette from Pragmatic Play. The casino publishes monthly payout percentages on a dedicated page, with figures for March 2026.
Default limits of €200 a day, €50 for under-25s
The responsible gambling page is concrete. At activation every account gets a daily connection limit of 3 hours, a daily spending limit of €100 and a daily deposit limit of €200. Players aged 18 to 24 get 2 hours, €50 spending and €50 deposits a day. A full week at the default deposit limit is €1,400, and for an under-25 it is €350. Four weeks at the default add up to €5,600 of deposits, the 90-day verification window at €200 a day would allow €18,000, and an under-25 reaches €1,500 of deposits in 30 days. Players can set their own limits for deposit, spending, loss and time on a daily, weekly, monthly or annual basis. Reductions apply at once, increases after 7 days, and open-ended limits are not allowed.
Self-exclusion can be general through the national RUA register, specific to this operator, or by product. A temporary exclusion runs from 7 to 270 days; an indefinite one can be revoked only after 9 months and takes effect 7 days after the request. AskGamblers ticks only deposit limit and self-exclusion on its checklist, which looks incomplete next to the casino's own page.
13 complaints, 11 rejected, and a 1.9 on Trustpilot
CasinoGuru records 13 complaints: 0 open, 2 unresolved, 0 resolved and 11 rejected. It rates the terms fair with 0 issues found and counts 15 payment methods. AskGamblers gives a CasinoRank of 6.6 and shows no player reviews. Trustpilot is the weakest source, with 1.9 from 778 reviews. That puts 84.6% of the 13 complaints in the rejected column and 15.4% in unresolved. The sources do not give the amounts, dates or countries of the individual complaints, so the reason behind the 11 rejections cannot be stated.
Support is open 24 hours a day by live chat, WhatsApp, email or a call request, and the home page quotes an average chat reply of 30 seconds. Calls are recorded.
Who StarCasino.it suits, and who should skip it
It suits a player in Italy who wants an ADM-licensed site with tight default limits, a €5 entry and a cashback offer rather than a deposit match. The 7-day withdrawal ceiling and the 35x, 3-day bonus clock are the terms to plan around.
It is a poor fit for anyone outside Italy, since the site is not available there. It also does not suit a player who expects the 1-minute and "immediate" claims on the home page to be guaranteed, because the contract says 7 days. A player who may leave the account untouched for years should know about the 36-month rule, and one who relies on Trustpilot's 1.9 should weigh it against CasinoGuru's 9.8.
