How we rate casinos: the full method

FatBoss limits withdrawals to €4,000 a week and €16,000 a calendar month, and any pending amount above €4,000 is paid in weekly instalments of €4,000. Samaki Limited of Anjouan runs it under licence ALSI-142406012-FI, issued on 2 June 2024. The terms also charge €5 a month to accounts idle for 18 months, require every deposit to be wagered once, and name Norway, Sweden, the UK and the USA among 30 markets where bonuses do not apply. CasinoGuru gives FatBoss a Safety Index of 7.5, Above average, with 9 complaints, but AskGamblers shows a player rating of only 5.3 from 3 ratings and Trustpilot 2.2 stars from 36 reviews.

Samaki Limited, Anjouan licence ALSI-142406012-FI

Clause 1.3 names Samaki Limited, registered in Anjouan under number 15685 with its office in Mutsamudu, Union of the Comoros, as operator, and clause 1.5 gives the licence from the Gaming Board of Anjouan, number ALSI-142406012-FI, issued on 2 June 2024. Samaki Limited also processes some payments (2.2.12). Anjouan law governs the contract and its courts have jurisdiction (16.1). CasinoGuru lists the same company and licence and dates the brand to 2019, while another listing names Mobile Technology Marketing B.V. and a Curacao licence, a conflict the casino's own text resolves in favour of Anjouan.

Games come from providers such as Microgaming and Visionary iGaming, and the casino says it is not liable for disputes about play on third-party games (5.1). The minimum age is 18, or 21 for players from Estonia (3.1.1). The terms take effect when a player clicks Continue at registration, and the same click accepts the bonus terms (1.6).

€4,000 a week and €16,000 a month, paid in instalments

Clause 2.4.3 lets the casino limit a player's withdrawals to €4,000 a week and €16,000 in a calendar month unless a larger amount was agreed in advance. Clause 2.4.5 adds that if the total of pending withdrawals exceeds €4,000, the funds are paid in increments of €4,000 a week until settled. A €20,000 win therefore takes 5 weeks at the weekly rate, and it also crosses the monthly cap, so €16,000 can arrive in the first calendar month and the last €4,000 in the next. Another listing lists €2,000 a day and €20,000 a month, which the terms contradict. Per day, €4,000 a week is about €571 and €16,000 a month about €533, and a year at the monthly ceiling comes to €192,000.

Withdrawal requests are processed within 24 hours during payment service hours, after which the time depends on the method (2.4.5). Any payout above the equivalent of €1,000 goes through additional verification (2.3.3), and identification may be requested for every withdrawal (2.4.7). A deposit must be wagered at least once or the withdrawal request is cancelled (2.4.8). AskGamblers lists e-wallets at 0 to 24 hours, bank transfers at 3 to 7 days and a pending stage of 0 to 72 hours, and says cards are not offered.

The terms say something different about cards. Withdrawals to a credit card are possible only if the card was issued by a euro zone bank, and debit cards are not possible at all (2.4.9 and 2.4.10). Payments come in EUR, USD and GBP, and exchange-rate losses fall on the player (2.2.4). The minimum for an Ethereum transaction is 0.01 ETH, and a smaller deposit is treated as lost with no recovery (2.2.10).

Documents: ID, a utility bill under 3 months old, and a matching address

The KYC page asks for a valid ID card, passport or driving licence, front and back, and a full copy of a utility bill issued within the last 3 months. The address in the player's profile must be exactly the same as the address on the document or the system cannot check it. For bank transfers a bank statement showing the name, account number and bank logo is required. Uploads from some mobile devices do not work, and the desktop site is recommended.

Together with the €1,000 verification threshold, this means that a player who requests a €1,500 withdrawal should expect a document check before the 24-hour processing clock starts. The €1,000 threshold is only 6.25% of the €16,000 monthly cap, so withdrawals well below the monthly cap can still meet that check.

€5 a month after 18 months, and refunds of those fees

Clause 2.2.9 defines an inactive account as one not accessed for an uninterrupted 18 months. After that the casino charges €5 a month from the real-money balance until it reaches zero, unless the player logs in or withdraws the funds, and it emails the player 30 days before the account becomes inactive. A player who logs in after fees began can ask support for a full refund of the fees charged, a clause that most casinos do not include. A balance of €60 would be gone after 12 months of fees, which is 30 months after the last login.

Bonuses not used within 3 months of being awarded can be removed (2.5.4), and when the casino closes an account at its own discretion it returns the real-money balance minus withdrawal charges, without having to give a reason (2.5.3).

Play rules that cost money: no-risk bets and unfair advantage

Clause 3.1.14 says bets placed to create action without risk, such as red and black together in roulette or player and banker together in baccarat, do not count toward any wagering requirement. Clause 3.1.13 lets the casino confiscate winnings and bonus funds if it sees reasonable evidence of an attempt to gain an unfair advantage, and bans robots and external player assistance programs.

Section 4 adds that any self-exclusion applies to FatBoss only. The Responsible Gaming page offers daily, weekly or monthly deposit limits, where lowering takes effect immediately and raising takes 7 days, a cool-off of 24 hours, 7 days or 1 month, and self-exclusion through My Profile. A loss ceiling blocks deposits once net deposits pass the chosen amount (4.2). AskGamblers lists deposit limits, self-exclusion and cool-off, but not wager, loss or time limits.

Bonuses: 30x on deposit plus bonus, 48-hour spins and 30 excluded markets

The bonus article has the offers. The bonus terms show a worked example in kroner: a 500 NOK deposit earns a 500 NOK bonus, and the player must wager 1,000 NOK x 30, or 30,000 NOK, before cashing out. The welcome bonus must be claimed through the Bonus menu within 3 days of the deposit and expires after 30 days. Free bonus money carries 50x, free-spin winnings 35x, free spins are valid for 48 hours, and the maximum bet with a bonus is NOK 50. Only 1 bonus can be active at a time. AskGamblers lists 100% up to €50 plus 100 spins, 50% up to €100 on the second deposit and 50% up to €200 on the third.

Clause 2.5.5 excludes 30 markets from bonuses and lets the casino void winnings if a bonus is claimed from one of them. The list includes Norway, Sweden, the UK, the USA, the Netherlands, Russia, Turkey, Brazil, China, Greece, Bulgaria and Romania. The terms name no list of countries barred from playing, only a rule that players must not live where gambling is illegal (3.1.4), while a third-party list names Argentina, Australia, China, Greece, Hong Kong, Malaysia, the UK, Hungary, Sweden, Norway and the Netherlands.

9 complaints, a 7.5 index and an AskGamblers score of 5.3

CasinoGuru records 9 complaints: 4 resolved (44.4%), 5 rejected (55.6%) and none unresolved. It rates the terms Fair with 0 issues and lists 51 providers, 23 payment methods and 24/7 live chat. AskGamblers gives a CasinoRank of 6.6 but its player rating is 5.3 from just 3 ratings, and Trustpilot shows 2.2 stars from 36 reviews. Transaction disputes go to live support or support@fatboss.com, where the casino says its judgement is final (7.3). The sources describe no complaint with an amount and outcome.

Who FatBoss suits and who should look elsewhere

FatBoss suits a player who wins moderate sums, expects €4,000 a week to be enough, and has a utility bill under 3 months old ready. It is a poor fit for a player in one of the 30 bonus-excluded markets, for anyone who wants a larger monthly ceiling than €16,000, and for a player who expects a card payout, since only euro-zone credit cards qualify. A win of €50,000 would take 12.5 weeks at €4,000 a week.
