The casino's own terms, CasinoGuru, AskGamblers and Trustpilot, checked in October 2026. If the casino's site says something else, the casino's site is right.
StarGames at stargames.de is run by Greentube Malta Ltd. under a German GGL licence for virtual slot games, first granted on 2 February 2023 and renewed on 13 February 2025, and the GGL whitelist updated on 2 October 2026 lists stargames.de under that company. The rules that decide a player's money are German-law rules: EUR 5 or 10 minimum deposits, a mandatory monthly deposit limit, a payout target of 3 working days, and a EUR 5 monthly inactivity fee that starts after 6 months without a login. CasinoGuru gives a Safety Index of 9.8 and Trustpilot shows 4.4 from 10,927 reviews. The site accepts players living in Germany only.
Greentube Malta Ltd. and the GGL whitelist entry
Clause 1.1 of the general terms, version 6 of 13 October 2025, names Greentube Malta Ltd., registered in Malta under C 38281 at W Business Centre, Level 4, Triq Dun Karm, Birkirkara BKR 9033. Clause 1.2 states a nationwide licence from the Gemeinsame Glücksspielbehörde der Länder for virtual slot games under sections 4 to 4d and 22a of the Glücksspielstaatsvertrag 2021. The GGL whitelist and marked as updated on 2 October 2026, lists Greentube Malta Limited with one domain, stargames.de, first licensed on 2 February 2023 with a follow-up date of 13 February 2025.
The same whitelist shows Admiral (admiralbet.de and slots.admiralbet.de) under a separate company, Greentube Betting Malta Limited, at the same Maltese address. CasinoGuru names Greentube Malta Ltd. as owner and gives 2002 as the establishment year, while the review-only record in the profile data says 2021, so the launch date is a conflict between sources. The terms exist in German only (18.15).
Germany only: what the residence rule does
Clause 3.1 says StarGames is intended for players whose registered address is in Germany, and the player confirms not to use it from outside the country. Clause 7.1 lists accessing the account from another country, including with a VPN, as misconduct. Clause 8.2 says that after misconduct the casino keeps the whole account balance. Under that wording, a balance of EUR 400 accessed from abroad is exposed to retention.
No list of restricted countries exists, because the rule is the reverse: one permitted country. The page template contains a "Land blockiert" overlay text.
Verification before the first spin
StarGames verifies before play. Clause 3.4 says a player can reach the games only after all verification procedures are complete, and clause 4.16 repeats it. The data is checked against SCHUFA (4.6), the OASIS exclusion register (4.9) and, in some cases, by video or eID through IDnow (4.7). Accepted proofs are a passport or national ID and a proof of address (4.14).
The casino may also repeat the check, in particular when a year has passed since the last verification (4.15), and may ask for source-of-funds documents (12.6). A player who fails verification receives neither a refund of deposits nor winnings (4.17).
EUR 5 in, 3 working days out, EUR 10 as the support threshold
The minimum deposit is EUR 5 or EUR 10 depending on the payment method (12.2). The terms do not list the methods. Gambling.com names PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, Apple Pay, Paysafecard, Aircash, Trustly, Visa and Mastercard, and CasinoGuru counts 11 methods; the casino's own payments page is not among the sources. Anonymous methods and methods registered to companies are refused (12.1), and funds are held in separate bank accounts protected in an insolvency (11.3).
Withdrawals go back to the method used for the deposit (13.2). The casino aims to process a request within 3 working days, counted from the date it accepts any documents it asked for (13.6), while the help page promises an automatic payout system with manual review of up to 24 hours in some cases. A request made on a Friday can therefore be paid by Wednesday under the terms. Payouts under EUR 10 can be requested only through customer service (13.1), and deposited money cannot be paid out until it has been wagered (13.7). No per-transaction, daily or monthly payout limit appears in the terms.
EUR 95 in inactivity fees, then the balance
Clause 14 sets the one fee the terms list (16.2). An account is inactive after 6 consecutive months without a login. On the first day of the sixth month the casino may try an automatic payout to the last method used, and if that succeeds no fee is charged. If not, EUR 5 is taken on the tenth day of month 6 and then monthly through month 23, with another fee in month 24. That is 19 fees, EUR 95. On the tenth day of month 25 the casino may keep whatever remains as a final fee and close the account.
A player with EUR 60 left unused would be at zero after 12 fees, in month 17. A balance above EUR 95 is not emptied by the monthly fees alone but can be retained in month 25. Clause 16.3 adds that bank charges and chargeback costs fall on the player.
EUR 1 per spin, 5 seconds per spin: the limits behind the games
StarGames holds a licence for virtual slot games only, so there is no live casino, roulette or blackjack. The GGL guidance on virtual slots, as read in our bonus research, caps stakes at EUR 1 per spin, requires an average of at least 5 seconds per spin and bans autoplay. At 5 seconds a spin the most a player can stake in an hour at EUR 1 is EUR 720, which is 720 spins. The terms (10.3) add a mandatory monthly deposit limit, with daily and weekly limits optional, and a check against the central LUGAS file.
A EUR 1,000 monthly limit, the cross-operator ceiling in the Glücksspielstaatsvertrag according to a search result, funds 1,000 spins at EUR 1, or about 83 minutes at the minimum pace of 5 seconds. Stake limits and loss limits can also be set by the player (10.3). A limit reduction takes effect after 7 days (10.2).
CasinoGuru counts 15 game providers. The site is built on Novoline-style originals such as Book of Ra and also carries third-party slots. The number of games is not stated on the pages read.
The EUR 100 starter package, briefly
The starter package gives 10 spins without a deposit, then EUR 30, EUR 20 and EUR 50 bonuses with 30, 20 and 40 spins over three deposits, up to EUR 100 plus 100 spins. The official promotions page states 40x on the bonus and 20x on spin winnings. The bonus page covers the steps. Clause 12.4 lets the casino reject or revoke any bonus and the winnings from it.
Player protection: 24-hour lock, 3-month minimum, OASIS
The protection tools are built into the account. Clause 10.4 gives a 24-hour lock. A self-exclusion has an initial period of at least 3 months, defaulting to 12 months if none is chosen (10.7), and is entered in the OASIS register (10.8). Remaining balance is paid out within 5 days and held for 365 days if payment fails (10.13). Reality checks and stake and loss limits are also available.
Support is reachable daily from 9:00 to 20:30 by live chat and around the clock by email at hilfe@stargames.de; player protection has its own address, spielerschutz@stargames.de. The terms add that AI chatbots handle standard requests, with a handover to a person on request (21).
Safety Index 9.8, 11 complaints, 4.4 on Trustpilot
CasinoGuru, in its record of 16 October 2026, gives StarGames a Safety Index of 9.8, Very high, rates its terms fair with 1 issue found, and lists 11 complaints: none open, none unresolved, 2 resolved and 9 rejected. Individual cases with amounts are not given. AskGamblers has no review of the casino.
Trustpilot gave 4.4 from 10,927 reviews on 31 October 2026, 2,664 of them in the last 12 months, with 62% five-star and 11% one-star. The operator replied to 100% of negative reviews, typically within a week. A one-star review dated 15 October 2026 says a deposit was held for 5 days, and the casino replied on 22 October. Another one-star review, dated 4 August 2026, concerns an accidental sign-up and phone billing. A 23 March 2026 two-star review complains about small bonuses while saying payouts are fast and reliable.
Who StarGames suits and who should look elsewhere
StarGames suits a player living in Germany who wants slots under a regulator that publishes its licence, who accepts a EUR 1 stake and 5-second spin pace, and who is willing to set a monthly deposit limit and complete identity checks before the first spin. It also suits someone who values a 9.8 Safety Index and a 4.4 Trustpilot score over game variety.
It does not suit a player outside Germany, anyone who wants live dealer games, a stake above EUR 1, or table games, someone who may stay away for 6 months with a balance of under EUR 95, or a player who expects the English-language terms of an offshore casino, since the terms are German only.
