The casino's own terms, CasinoGuru, AskGamblers and Trustpilot, checked in October 2026. If the casino's site says something else, the casino's site is right.
1Red (1red.com) is a casino whose own terms name no operating company and no licence, so the outside record has to carry the decision. Version 4.0 of the terms, updated 15 January 2026, sets withdrawals at €1,000 a day, €2,500 a week and €10,000 a month for players who have deposited up to €1,000 in total, rising to €3,000, €10,000 and €30,000 above €10,000. CasinoGuru gives a Safety Index of 2.9, Very low, with 121 complaints of which 63 were rejected. AskGamblers shows a player rating of 9.3 from 81 reviews and Trustpilot 3.6 from 1,684 reviews. This review sets those figures against the clauses.
No operator and no licence in the terms, three versions elsewhere
The general terms on 1red.com call the operator only 1red.com (clause 3). They give no company name, no regulator and no licence number. Governing law is the law of Costa Rica and disputes go to the courts of Costa Rica (applicable law, clauses 1 and 2). Only the English text has legal effect (general, clause 6).
The review sites fill the gap in different ways. CasinoGuru and AskGamblers both list Bets Entertainment N.V. as owner and operator, established 2022. On the licence, CasinoGuru's record of 15 October 2026 names the Anjouan Offshore Finance Authority with number ALSI-202410047-FI2, its earlier record named the Curacao Gaming Authority with no number, and AskGamblers names the Curacao Gaming Control Board. A player cannot tell from these three which body, if any, would take a complaint, and the casino's own pages do not settle it.
The restricted-country list in the terms (who can play, clause 6) has 44 entries. It starts with Angola, Barbados, Belgium and Burkina Faso and includes the United States, Russia, Ukraine, Israel and Cyprus. The company may change it without notice. The UK, Spain, France, the Netherlands, Poland and Brazil are not on it, yet the AskGamblers text says the UK, USA, Spain and France are restricted, and CasinoGuru's editorial says Estonian players are excluded.
€1,000 a day until you have deposited more: the three withdrawal tiers
Clause 9 sets the minimum withdrawal at €30, £25 or $30. Clause 10 caps a single transaction at 10,000 in EUR, GBP or USD and at 15,000 in AUD or CAD. The limits that bind in practice are in clause 11 and depend on your total deposits:
- Total deposits up to €1,000: €1,000 a day, €2,500 a week, €10,000 a month.
- Total deposits from €1,000 to €10,000: €2,000 a day, €5,000 a week, €20,000 a month.
- Total deposits over €10,000: €3,000 a day, €10,000 a week, €30,000 a month.
What the tiers mean for a real win
The terms call these limits indicative and adjustable, and VIP limits are set individually (clauses 11 and 12). AUD and CAD limits are 1.5 times the figures above. Take a player with €500 deposited in total who wins €6,000. The daily limit of €1,000 is not the problem, the weekly €2,500 is: €2,500, €2,500 and €1,000 make three weeks. A player with €5,000 deposited and a €30,000 win sits in the middle tier, so €5,000 a week means six weeks, and the €20,000 monthly ceiling stops the first month at €20,000.
Clause 14 adds that a win above €30,000 may be paid in monthly instalments of up to €30,000, and clause 19 caps the payout of one gaming session at €100,000. Progressive jackpot wins are paid in full (clause 15). AskGamblers still lists €2,000 a day, €5,000 a week and €10,000 a month, which matches no single tier on the terms page: the monthly figure is 10,000 there against 20,000 for the middle tier.
Ten banking days for a bank transfer, and a 3x turnover rule
Clause 18 says bank transfers are processed within ten banking days, which is two calendar weeks. For other methods the terms say only that the company aims to process requests as promptly as reasonably possible (clause 4) and that times are indicative. Delays caused by verification are counted from the date the documents are verified (clause 6). AskGamblers lists e-wallets at 0 to 24 hours, cards and bank at 2 to 9 days and a pending period of 0 to 48 hours, so a card payout can take 11 days at the far end.
Intermediary bank charges are limited to the equivalent of €16 (clause 17), and USD payouts cannot be requested by bank transfer (clause 18). Deposits carry no internal fee and the minimum is €20 (deposit clause 4).
Before any withdrawal, deposited funds must be played through at least three times (withdrawals, clause 8). A €100 deposit therefore needs €300 of bets. If bets since the last deposit are below that, clause 13 lets the casino charge transaction processing costs, and the amount is not stated.
30 calendar days to send documents
The terms ask for both sides of a passport, driving licence or other ID, plus proof of address issued within the last 90 days or an original PDF utility bill or bank statement (refund, clause 2). Documents must be in Latin or Cyrillic script and video verification may be required (anti-fraud, clause 5). The player has 30 calendar days from the request to comply, and failure can lead to deactivation (account suspension, clause 1; anti-fraud, clause 5.1). Forged documents may cost the deposits and any winnings (withdrawals, clause 7).
Added up, a player who uses all 30 days to send papers and then asks for a bank transfer faces ten banking days from verification, roughly six weeks from the first request. CasinoGuru records a case dated 18 February 2026 where an account in the United Kingdom was suspended after a £13,600 jackpot win and the money was held during verification before being released. A refund decision can take up to 7 business days (refund, clause 3).
USD 10 a month after 180 days, and where winnings can be taken
An account with no login for more than 180 consecutive calendar days is dormant. After at least 30 days of notice the casino debits USD 10 or the equivalent each month (dormant accounts, clauses 1 to 3). The fee stops at a zero balance and cannot push the account negative. A balance of USD 50 would be gone after five fees.
Several clauses allow confiscation. Winnings are confiscated if a deposit came from a third party (deposits, clause 3), a suspicion of fraud allows confiscation of all funds (anti-fraud, clause 1), and forged documents can cost deposits and winnings. In disputes the server logs act as the final authority (complaints, clause 11). Complaints are acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 8 weeks (clauses 4 and 8), and alternative dispute resolution is something the casino may offer (clause 10), not a right.
The welcome pack in one paragraph
The home page advertises 225% up to €11,500 plus 225 spins across three deposits. Wagering is 40x, the maximum bet while wagering is €2, and bonus winnings are capped at 5 times the deposit up to €5,000. On a €100 deposit that is €4,000 of bets for at most €500 of bonus winnings. Codes, spin games and the reloads are on the 1Red bonus page.
130 providers, 44 payment methods and one exclusion tool
CasinoGuru counts 130 game providers and 44 payment methods (43 in its October record); AskGamblers counts 40 or more providers and 24 or more methods. Our own list names 24 deposit methods, 21 withdrawal methods and 16 currencies: EUR, USD, CAD, NZD, AUD, ZAR and ten crypto currencies. Live chat runs 24 hours a day, phone support does not exist (CasinoGuru), and CasinoGuru lists seven support languages while AskGamblers calls English-only a drawback.
On responsible gambling the sources conflict. The terms offer self-exclusion for 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, 6 months, 1 year or permanently, with no withdrawal possible until reactivation (responsible gaming, clause 2). Revoking a permanent exclusion needs a written request and a wait of 7 calendar days (clause 5), and the casino may reject or extend an exclusion if it suspects problem gambling (clause 6). AskGamblers confirms self-exclusion but no deposit, loss, wager or time limits and no reality check. CasinoGuru's record marks all ten tools as absent, which contradicts the terms.
121 complaints, 63 rejected, against a 9.3 player rating
CasinoGuru's record of 15 October 2026 shows a Safety Index of 2.9, Very low (2.8 earlier), terms rated fair with one issue, no blacklist entry and 121 complaints: 2 open, 3 unresolved, 53 resolved and 63 rejected. An earlier record counted 119, with 52 unresolved and 61 resolved. Its listed drawbacks are slow withdrawals, frequent rejections or cancellations, poor communication and a very high amount of withheld winnings. Cases include a player in Chile with a delayed withdrawal of 87,000 CLP (closed 14 April 2026) and a player in Taiwan whose USD 1,700 was confiscated for alleged bonus abuse (13 March 2026), where the player stopped responding.
AskGamblers sees a different picture: a CasinoRank of 7.9 (7.2 in an earlier record), a player rating of 9.3 from 81 reviews and 16 complaints, 5 unresolved and 11 resolved. Its examples are £1,500 of delayed winnings (unresolved), a £2,900 refund declined after account closure (resolved) and €41 of deposits never credited (resolved). Trustpilot shows 3.6 from 1,684 reviews, 3.4 from 1,612 in an earlier record. Recent praise there centres on VIP managers and same-day payouts, while a one-star review of 4 May 2026 describes a £20 deposit not credited for 18 hours. The gap between a 2.9 and a 9.3 is the central fact about 1Red.
Who 1Red suits and who should stay away
It suits a player who deposits modestly, expects wins well inside the first tier (€2,500 a week) and sends documents within the 30-day window. It also suits someone who accepts that no regulator is named by the casino and that an unresolved dispute may end at a Costa Rica court clause. It is a poor fit for a player hoping for a large win: €30,000 can take six weeks at the middle tier or three months at €10,000 a month in the first. It is also unsuitable for anyone who needs deposit or loss limits, since only self-exclusion is confirmed, and for anyone in the 44 listed countries.
