The casino's own terms, CasinoGuru, AskGamblers and Trustpilot, checked in October 2026. If the casino's site says something else, the casino's site is right.
Hugo Casino is a Curacao brand run by GBL Solutions N.V., and every figure below is attributed to CasinoGuru, AskGamblers, LCB or Trustpilot. AskGamblers records one hard limit, €500 a day to withdraw, and payouts only Monday to Friday between 9:00 and 18:00 (GMT+2). They split on the rest: CasinoGuru gives a Safety Index of 8.7 (High) with 160 providers, while AskGamblers rates players at 4.9 out of 10 from 7 reviews and Trustpilot at 2.7 from 276. The sections below put the numbers together and show which cases explain the gap.
GBL Solutions N.V. and licence OGL/2024/589/0556
CasinoGuru names GBL Solutions N.V. as owner and operator, established in 2023, with the Curacao Gaming Authority licence number OGL/2024/589/0556 and a revenue tier above €5,000,000. AskGamblers also gives GBL Solutions N.V. and 2023, but names the Curacao Gaming Control Board and states no number. LCB refers to the CGA jurisdiction and mentions Antillephone N.V. The home page says the brand was founded in 2020, which is 3 years before the 2023 date, so the launch year is a conflict between sources.
The casino's terms, payments page and responsible gaming page are not covered by the sources used here; the home page lists support@hugocasino.com as the contact. Clauses about inactivity fees, account closure and confiscation are therefore not found, not absent. CasinoGuru rates the terms fair with 0 issues flagged, lists 11 to 13 complaints, and no source reports a blacklist.
€500 a day, and what a €5,000 win means
AskGamblers lists withdrawal limits of €500 per transaction, €500 per day and €15,000 per month. LCB shows that the monthly ceiling depends on VIP level: €6,000, 8,000, 10,000, 12,000 and 15,000 for levels 1 to 5. At the daily cap, a €5,000 win takes 10 days to pay out, and a level 1 player reaches the €6,000 monthly ceiling after 12 days of full withdrawals. A level 5 player needs 30 days to collect €15,000.
AskGamblers adds the timing rules, which cut the usable week to 5 days. Withdrawals are processed Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 18:00 (GMT+2), with no weekend payouts, and at most 3 withdrawals can be pending at once, so a player with 3 requests of €500 has €1,500 in the queue. Pending time is 0 to 72 hours, e-wallets then take 24 to 48 hours, and banks and cards 3 to 5 days. A request made on Friday at 18:30 waits about 62 hours until Monday 9:00 before the pending period even begins. LCB says deposits must be wagered at least 3 times before a withdrawal, and that a 15 percent commission applies otherwise. AskGamblers lists fees as €0 but notes the casino reserves the right to charge them.
46 payment methods by one count, 23 by another
CasinoGuru counts 46 payment methods and AskGamblers 23, a gap of 23. The shorter AskGamblers list names bank wire, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, Rapid Transfer, Revolut, Google Pay, CASHlib, eZeeWallet, Neosurf, Binance, Luxon Pay, SticPay, Paysafecard, BLIK and mobile payment, plus Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Tether, Litecoin and Cardano. CasinoGuru's longer list adds names such as Visa, Apple Pay, Trustly, Klarna, Wise, MiFinity, Multibanco, MB Way, Interac, eps, Toncoin, Solana, Dogecoin, Ripple, USD Coin and Tron.
LCB gives the minimums: €5 for CASHlib, €20 for cards and €50 for crypto deposits, and €20 to withdraw, €50 for crypto. The 9 fiat account currencies in the profile data are EUR, CAD, DKK, AUD, PLN, NOK, CHF, NZD and HUF, plus BTC, BCH, ETH, USDT, ADA and LTC. According to LCB a player in Estonia is accepted but limited to provider games, and BLIK, CASHlib, Interac, Neosurf, PayID and SticPay are not available there. The method list thus depends on the country, and the deposit page decides what a given player sees.
Verification: €1,250 held for repeated document requests
LCB puts KYC at up to 72 hours. An AskGamblers player review describes eight days without a response on KYC. AskGamblers lists a lengthy verification process and problematic document requests among its 7 cons. Its case from September 2024 involved €10,600: a player with a virtual card was asked for photos of a physical card that does not exist, and the complaint was resolved. CasinoGuru's case from 16 April 2026 involves a player in Austria whose €1,250 was held after repeated document requests, and the case was closed without a payout.
Trustpilot reviewers describe the same pattern, from €200 to €180,000. A review of 5 March 2026 says a €180,000 win could not be withdrawn pending verification, one of 1 October 2026 says €200 was not refunded after account closure when six months of Skrill records were requested, and one of 19 January 2026 says an address change blocked a withdrawal. These are single reviewer accounts, not verified outcomes. The company replies to 97% of negative reviews, according to Trustpilot, which counts 276 reviews.
What the sources do not say about restricted countries and fees
None of the 3 sources publishes a restricted-country list. CasinoGuru, AskGamblers and LCB only say that US players are not allowed, a list of 1 country. The affiliate profile data blocks about 190 country codes, including Brazil, France, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Russia and Ukraine, but that list comes from the affiliate side and not from the casino's terms. Brazil banned online casino games on 25 September 2026 under MP 1.394, so it is closed regardless.
Inactivity fees, dormant-account rules and the exact wording of confiscation clauses were not found in the 3 sources. LCB mentions a ban on strategies while a bonus is active, with winnings cancelled if found. The bonus page for Hugo Casino covers the cashout caps, which differ between CasinoGuru (€500 or 5x the deposit) and LCB (10x).
160 providers, live tables and no sportsbook
CasinoGuru counts 160 game providers and AskGamblers 70 or more, a gap of 90. Named studios include NetEnt, Novomatic, Nolimit City, Playtech, Play'n GO, IGT, Evolution, Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw, Wazdan, Elk Studios, Relax Gaming and Ezugi. CasinoGuru marks live baccarat, blackjack, roulette, poker, bingo and live shows as available, and lists the lack of sports betting among its cons.
Support is live chat 24 hours a day according to both sites, but CasinoGuru says chat and email are English only while the website has 14 languages. AskGamblers counts 11 website languages (against 14), including German, Polish, Italian and Finnish, and lists slow email replies as a con.
Self-exclusion yes or no: the sources split
AskGamblers records 2 tools, self-exclusion and cool-off, as present, and no deposit, wager, loss or time limits, reality check, self-assessment test or withdrawal lock. CasinoGuru marks self-exclusion as No and only mentions session reminders, and lists limited responsible gambling tools among its cons. The 2 sources disagree on the one tool that matters most.
A case on AskGamblers fits the thin tooling. A player who asked for self-exclusion from 16 January 2025 says a €215 deposit was still accepted despite support instructions, and the complaint is marked resolved.
8.7 from CasinoGuru, 2.7 from Trustpilot
CasinoGuru's Safety Index is 8.7, High, with 11 complaints in the detailed extract and 13 in the record of 15 October 2026 (1 open, 2 resolved, 10 rejected). Beside the €1,250 case, it lists €1,400 from a player in Germany in March 2026, resolved after the recommended 14-day wait, and €230 from Austria in February 2026, judged unjustified by CasinoGuru, which notes the balance was lost through gameplay and no malfunction was found. Its 17 user reviews average Great, against 7 reviews on AskGamblers.
AskGamblers shows a CasinoRank of 6.6 and a player rating of 4.9 from 7 reviews, four of them 1 out of 10 and three 10 out of 10. It lists 4 complaints, all resolved, with an average response of 1 day and an average amount of $3,266. Trustpilot shows a TrustScore of 2.7 from 276 reviews, 82 in the last 12 months, 43 percent one-star and 27 percent five-star. LCB gives 3 of 5 from 22 votes. The bonus-related Trustpilot cases, such as 18,000 DKK reduced to 14 DKK on 29 July 2026, are covered on the bonus page.
Who should consider Hugo and who should not
Hugo fits a player who deposits from the €20 minimum, expects wins of a few hundred euros, uses crypto or an e-wallet and does not mind payouts only on weekdays. At €500 a day, a €2,000 win takes 4 days, which is tolerable.
It is a poor fit for players who expect a large win in one session, who need payouts on a weekend, who want a deposit limit or a clear self-exclusion tool, or who need support in a language other than English. Because the terms are not covered here, the safest approach is to read the casino's terms in the footer before depositing and keep the payout schedule above in mind.
