How Mr Green got 1.9/5

The rating is calculated the same way for every casino, from three independent sources:

  • AskGamblers CasinoRank3.2/10weight 30%
  • Trustpilot1.3/5weight 10%

Combined: 3.0/10, shown as 1.9/5 on a fixed scale that is the same for every casino.

One source has no data for Mr Green, so the remaining weights are scaled up.

How we rate casinos: the full method

Mr Green is run by Mr Green Limited of Sliema, Malta, under Malta Gaming Authority licence MGA/CRP/121/2006, valid until 19 March 2028. Its terms (version 16.6, updated 10 October 2024) are specific: a €30 minimum withdrawal, a fee of €1 up to €100 and 1.5% above that with a €10 cap, identity checks within 30 days once deposits reach €2,000, and a 35x default wagering requirement with a €5 bet cap. The outside record is weaker. AskGamblers gives a rating of 3.2 and Trustpilot shows 1.3 stars from 4,671 reviews. This review sets the terms against those scores, clause by clause.

Mr Green Limited, MGA/CRP/121/2006 valid to March 2028

Clause 1.1 names Mr Green Limited, a Maltese company at Tagliaferro Business Centre, Level 7, High Street, Sliema SLM 1549, as the operator, and the page footer gives registration C43260. Clause 1.4.2 states the Malta Gaming Authority licence MGA/CRP/121/2006, issued on 1 November 2018 and valid until 19 March 2028, for game types 1, 2 and 3. Sportsbook customers in Ireland fall under a separate Revenue Commissioners remote bookmaker licence, number 1011600 (clause 1.4.1). The brand dates from 2008 in the profile data.

Mr Green belongs to the evoke plc group, and clause 1.5 says other group companies hold their own licences and that Mr Green accepts no responsibility for them. Maltese law and the Maltese courts apply (22.1), and the English version of the terms prevails (1.8). Customer money sits in ring-fenced accounts at Bank of Valletta, and clause 3.15 adds that there is no absolute guarantee all funds would be repaid. Directory data also lists UK, Swedish and Danish licences, which clause 1.4 does not. The terms page itself carries a notice that Mr Green UK is closed.

€30 to withdraw, and a fee that stops at €10

The minimum withdrawal is €30 (clause 6.4.1), although it may vary by method. Clause 6.3 sets a fee on every withdrawal: €1 up to €100, then 1.5% above €100, with a ceiling of €10 (6.3.2). The cap is reached at about €667. A €500 withdrawal costs €7.50, while a €2,000 withdrawal costs €10, which is 0.5%. In NOK the fee is 10 NOK up to 1,000 NOK and 1.5% above, capped at 100 NOK.

Money goes back to the method used to deposit. If that method cannot pay out, the casino uses a bank transfer, and the casino keeps the final say on the method (6.2). Paysafecard deposits carry a 3.9% fee (3.11), and the minimum deposit is €10 (3.5). The terms list four accepted currencies: EUR, CAD, NOK and USD (3.3). Directory data lists more currencies (GBP, SEK, PLN, CZK, DKK), which the terms do not mention.

The terms state no daily, weekly or monthly withdrawal limit and no processing time. AskGamblers lists 0 to 24 hours for e-wallets, 1 to 7 days for cards and bank transfers, and a pending period of 0 to 72 hours. A card withdrawal could therefore take up to 3 days pending plus 7 days in transit, about 10 calendar days. Crypto is not offered, according to AskGamblers.

Identity within 30 days of a €2,000 deposit total

Clause 2.9.2 requires the casino to suspend an account if identity cannot be confirmed within 30 days after deposits reach €2,000 over a rolling 180 days. A player depositing €100 a week passes that line in 20 weeks and then has a month to deliver documents. Clause 4.4 asks for a passport, national ID or driving licence and a proof of address not older than 6 months, meaning a utility bill or bank statement.

Clause 4.5 lists more that can be requested at any time: card copies, front and back, with only the first 6 and last 4 digits visible, a photo of the player holding the ID, notarised copies, and details of occupation or source of funds. Until checks are complete, clause 4.1.2 lets the casino block bets and withdrawals. Clause 4.6 goes further: if a player withdraws a deposit without playing a commensurate amount, the casino may return the deposit, withhold the balance without giving a reason, or close the account.

35x default wagering, 100% on slots and 10% on live roulette

The welcome offer listed by AskGamblers is 100% up to €100 plus 200 free spins, with $100 and 1,000 NOK variants and a live casino offer of 100% up to €100. The terms we read give general bonus rules, not the wagering of that specific offer, which Part B says each promotion states itself. The default is 35x the bonus (B 3.1). On a €100 bonus that is €3,500 of turnover.

Contribution differs by game (B 3.5). Slots count 100%, Live Dream Catcher, Monopoly Live and Deal or No Deal Live count 50%, live roulette, live blackjack and other live games 10%, and non-live table games 5%. The same €3,500 would need ten times as much in stakes on live roulette. The maximum bet with bonus money is €5, $5 or 50 NOK (7.9), so €3,500 means at least 700 bets at the cap. Breaking the cap can lead to confiscation of the bonus.

Other bonus clauses: only one promotion at a time, and opting into a new one forfeits the old bonus (4.2); withdrawing cash while a bonus is active forfeits the bonus balance (5.1); bonuses expire after 30 days (7.14.1); winnings from no-deposit bonuses are capped at €100 (7.13); and each bonus can be used once per household, address, e-mail and IP address (7.15).

Eighteen named countries and a VPN clause

Clause 15.1 prohibits residents of 18 named places: Afghanistan, Australia, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Burma, Cote d'Ivoire, Cuba, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Iran, Iraq, Liberia, Libya, North Korea, Serbia, Sudan, Syria, the USA and Zimbabwe. It adds any other jurisdiction where play would conflict with local law. The casino's own restricted-location page names no countries.

Clause 7.1.1(4) treats a VPN or proxy used to hide the device's identity as fraudulent activity, and bonus clause 7.12 lets the casino void bonuses and winnings made through a proxy. Clause 7.3 allows the casino to withhold the balance and recover payouts connected to a prohibited act.

Clauses that can cost money: multiple accounts, chat, inactivity

Multiple accounts lose their bonuses and bonus winnings, and the casino may void all winnings and refund deposits at its discretion. Clause 10.7 prohibits discussing a complaint, or how long it has been pending, in the chat rooms. Clause 10.6 makes the game server record the valid one when it differs from the player's.

One clause is mild: an account counts as inactive after 12 months without login, and clause 13.1 says no fee is charged. Complaints are acknowledged within 24 hours and the aim is to process them within 10 days (10.3). A player who is not satisfied can go to eCOGRA's free ADR service (10.4), and the courts stay open afterwards (10.5).

Games: what the terms name, and what they do not

The terms cover casino, live casino and sportsbook. Betting offers come from Kambi Malta Limited under MGA/CL4/659/2010 (clause 23.1). The only providers named are Pragmatic Play, in the bonus table for roulette, Dragon Tiger, Football Studio and baccarat (B 3.7). The sources give no game count and no provider count for Mr Green, so this review does not state one.

Rating 3.2 and 1.3 stars from 4,671 reviews

AskGamblers gives Mr Green a rating of 3.2 and a player rating of 5.5 from 186 votes. Trustpilot shows 1.3 stars from 4,671 reviews. The sources used here give no CasinoGuru Safety Index, no complaint count and no individual case for Mr Green, so none is reported.

On the tools side, AskGamblers lists deposit limits, loss limits, self-exclusion, cool-off and reality checks, but no wager limit, time limit or self-assessment test. The terms list an activity check, loss limit, deposit limit and a Take-a-Break of 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days (8.3). Self-exclusion runs 6 months, 1 year, 3 years, 5 years or indefinitely (8.8.1). It covers only Mr Green, not other evoke brands (8.8.2), and raising a limit waits 24 hours (8.4.1).

Who Mr Green suits, and who should look elsewhere

It suits a player in a covered country who deposits less than €2,000 in 180 days, withdraws in amounts above €30 so the fee stays small, and wants a Malta-licensed operator whose licence runs to March 2028. At €1,000 a withdrawal, the €10 fee is 1%.

It suits less a player who relies on live roulette or blackjack for bonus wagering (10% contribution), who wants to withdraw €30 or less often (the €1 fee is 3.3% of €30), or who plays from a VPN. The 1.3-star Trustpilot score from 4,671 reviews is a warning to read recent reviews before depositing.
