The casino's own terms, CasinoGuru, AskGamblers and Trustpilot, checked in October 2026. If the casino's site says something else, the casino's site is right.
Avalon78 is a Malta-licensed casino (MGA/B2C/394/2017) run by N1 Interactive Ltd, and its terms, version 2.8 dated 23 January 2024, set numbers a player can plan around: €4,000 a day, €10,000 a week and €40,000 a month in withdrawals, mandatory identity checks once cumulative withdrawals reach €2,000, and a €5 monthly fee on accounts idle for over 12 months. German players pay a further 5.3% on every real-money bet. The outside record splits sharply: AskGamblers shows a CasinoRank of 8.9 with a 9.2 player rating, while Trustpilot shows 2.0 of 5 and CasinoGuru rates the terms Unfair.
N1 Interactive Ltd, Valletta, and a licence issued on 1 August 2018
The terms name the operator as N1 Interactive Ltd, a Maltese company with registration number C 81457 at 206 Wisely House, Old Bakery Street, Valletta. The Malta Gaming Authority licence is MGA/B2C/394/2017, issued on 1 August 2018. Maltese law governs the terms and the English version prevails over translations. CasinoGuru and AskGamblers both date the brand to 2019. The same operator and licence number sit behind Mason Slots, and gambling.com names BetAmo and Cookie Casino as further N1 Interactive brands.
The complaint path is written into the terms. A player goes to support first, then asks for escalation to management, and if still unhappy 8 weeks after that escalation may use the free ADR service CasinoReviews.com or complain to the Malta Gaming Authority. Using either does not remove the right to go to court. The route starts only after two internal steps and an 8-week wait.
€4,000, 10,000 and 40,000: the three withdrawal ceilings
The withdrawal policy sets a maximum of 4,000 EUR or USD daily, 10,000 weekly and 40,000 monthly, with exceptions for higher VIP levels at the casino's discretion. A win above €40,000 may be split into monthly instalments of €20,000 until paid. Worked through, a €10,000 win takes 3 days at the daily cap and fits inside one week, while a €100,000 win, being above €40,000, may be paid in monthly instalments of €20,000, which is 5 months.
The payments page gives per-method figures. Withdrawals by card take 3 to 5 banking days with a €10 minimum and €4,000 maximum. E-wallets are listed as instant with the same limits. Paysafecard withdrawals top out at €250. Interac e-Transfer takes 1 to 3 banking days (30 CAD to 4,000). Bank transfer takes 3 to 5 banking days and starts at €500, so a player holding €300 cannot use it. Every method is listed as free of fees. A card deposit also shapes the payout: a withdrawal up to the deposited amount may go back to the same card, and only the excess goes to another method.
Deposits start at €20 on cards, Neosurf and e-wallets, with €4,000 per transaction, €1,000 for Paysafecard and 6,000 CAD for Instadebit and Interac. The page says it processes EUR, USD and NZD, while the terms add CAD, so the currency list conflicts inside the casino's own pages. Paying from another person's account is banned and means confiscated winnings.
The 3x deposit turnover and the 5.3% German bet fee
Every deposit must be wagered 3 times before the related funds can leave. Several unplayed deposits are added together, and the casino may otherwise charge a processing fee. A €100 deposit therefore means €300 of bets, and a withdrawal sooner than that can be refused or charged.
For players in Germany the terms add a separate cost. The casino charges 5.3% on real-money bets, debited at the moment of the bet, and gives the example of a €1 bet costing €1.05 in total. On the €300 turnover from a €100 deposit that is about €15.90, and on €4,000 of wagering it is about €212. German accounts also get an offered monthly deposit limit not above €1,000, an hourly reality check that forces a 5-minute wait after confirmation, and a verification window of 30 days from registration or up to a €150 deposit.
Verification becomes mandatory at €2,000 of withdrawals
The terms allow identity checks before any payout and make verification mandatory once cumulative withdrawals reach €2,000. The casino may phone the number on the account as part of KYC. If it cannot reach the player by email or phone within 2 weeks, the account is locked, and an invalid or missing phone number is grounds for termination and confiscation of winnings. It may also ask for a selfie with ID, a selfie with ID and a special sign, or a live video call, and winnings are not processed until the conversation with the manager has taken place.
Documents must be in Latin or Cyrillic script, otherwise the casino demands video verification. A Trustpilot reviewer wrote on 11 March 2025 that a 50 USD withdrawal was blocked by repeated document requests; the company replied on 21 March 2025 that verification is standard. CasinoGuru lists an unreasonably short KYC response timeframe among its cons. Even a self-excluded player is not exempt from verification before the remaining balance is paid.
€5 a month after 12 idle months, and 128 barred countries
An account with no login for over 12 months is treated as inactive, and the casino may charge €5 a month from the 13th month, with a reminder email each month. At 30 months the balance is remitted to the player, or kept by the company if the player cannot be located. Months 13 to 30 mean up to 18 fees, so up to €90.
The terms name 128 countries and regions where real-money play is prohibited, among them the United Kingdom, United States, Spain, Italy, France, Portugal, Australia, Belgium, Norway, Brazil, India, Japan, Mexico, Russia, Poland, the Netherlands and Ontario. Germany, Austria, Canada outside Ontario, New Zealand and Finland are not named. Using a VPN from a barred country can mean a blocked account and confiscated funds. Sweden is excluded from all bonuses and Ireland, Finland and Croatia from deposit bonuses.
The anti-fraud clause adds specific triggers: two accounts, a chargeback, a deposit-to-bonus ratio above 50%, and low-risk roulette with equal bets covering 25 or more of the 37 numbers. The casino can end an account and suspend payouts without giving the reason, and calls itself the final decision-maker on breaches.
The bonus in one paragraph: 14 days, €5 a bet, €10,000 cap
The official bonus terms give the facts the review sites leave out. The welcome steps expire after 14 days, carry 40x wagering, and allow a maximum bet of €5 (8 CAD or NZD) while a bonus is active. The first step's 100 spins run as 20 a day for 5 days on The Sword and The Grail, with Fire & Steel as fallback, and the second step's spins are on Spartan King. Slots count 100%, while table games, video poker, roulette and crash games count 5%. Non-welcome bonuses are capped at €10,000 of winnings. A Thursday cashback pays 5% on weekly losses of €1,000 to 2,000 and 7% above that, with 10x wagering. The deposit amounts and totals are in the bonus article.
3,000 games on the About page, 95 providers on CasinoGuru
The casino's own About page claims over 3,000 games, weekly tournaments and a VIP programme. CasinoGuru counts 95 providers, AskGamblers 50 or more providers and over 1,000 games, so the size claims disagree by a factor of three. The home page promotes Pragmatic Play, BGaming, Hacksaw Gaming, Playson, Wazdan, 3 Oaks, Evolution and Nolimit. CasinoGuru marks live shows, crash games and eSports betting as available.
Support is live chat around the clock according to both review sites. CasinoGuru lists support in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese, while AskGamblers lists English, German, Polish, Finnish and Russian.
Limits, cooling-off and a loss limit that ignores winnings
The responsible gaming page describes limits inside the account: deposit, loss and wager limits per day, week or month, and a session limit in minutes. There is also a cooling-off period, self-exclusion for a set time or indefinitely, and an hourly reality check. A limit increase only takes effect after email confirmation and after the previous limit of the same type has expired.
One detail stands out. The loss limit is counted against the initial deposit, not against winnings. The page's example: a player deposits €50, sets a €10 loss limit, wins €1,000, and can still lose more than €10 of the €1,000 balance. Self-exclusion also blocks withdrawals until the player emails support. AskGamblers marks every tool except withdrawal lock and the exclusion register as available, while CasinoGuru marks only deposit limit and self-exclusion, so the sources conflict on scope; the casino's own page is used here.
AskGamblers 8.9 and 9.2 from 117 reviews, Trustpilot 2.0 from 75
CasinoGuru's project record of 15 October 2026 gives a Safety Index of 7.2, Above average, down from 8.4 in an older extract, with T&C rated Unfair on 7 issues. It lists 12 complaints: 0 open, 5 resolved, 7 rejected. Its three cases: €43 confiscated as bonus abuse in a case from Switzerland in April 2025 (unjustified), a €6,400 withdrawal blocked after location verification in a case from the Netherlands on 17 February 2026, and a €6,200 account closed over location, also from the Netherlands, in September 2023. The Netherlands is on the casino's own barred list, so the two largest cases come from a country the terms exclude.
AskGamblers shows a CasinoRank of 8.9, a player rating of 9.2 from 117 reviews, 2 complaints both resolved and a response time of 1 day. Its cases are a €1,240 withdrawal stuck for two weeks and a €500 Paysafecard withdrawal option that disappeared. Trustpilot shows 2.0 of 5 from 75 reviews, 82% of them 1 star and 15% 5 star, with 12 company replies. One 26 May 2026 reviewer says a cash deposit was turned into bonus funds with 40x wagering not stated in the terms, and got no reply.
Who Avalon78 suits and who should look elsewhere
It suits a player in a country the terms do not name, such as Austria, Canada outside Ontario, New Zealand or Finland (deposit bonuses excluded there), who wants a Malta-licensed operator with a published complaint route, deposits €20 to 100 and expects payouts well under €4,000 a day. The written payout tables, the 14-day bonus expiry and the loss-limit example are specific enough to plan around.
It does not suit a German player who stakes heavily, because 5.3% on €4,000 of wagering costs about €212, or anyone who wants a bank transfer for under €500. It also does not suit players in the 128 barred countries, or anyone who will not take a phone call or video check once withdrawals reach €2,000.
