The casino's own terms, CasinoGuru, AskGamblers and Trustpilot, checked in October 2026. If the casino's site says something else, the casino's site is right.
BillyBets is a 2024 casino and sportsbook with 12,000+ games whose terms name no operating company. AskGamblers lists Luxinero Group and a Costa Rica licence. Its withdrawal limits climb steeply with VIP level, from €500 a day and €7,000 a month on level 1 to €5,000 and €75,000 on level 5, and each payout can take up to 96 business hours. The scores split: CasinoGuru moved from a Safety Index of 8.1 in May 2026 to 5.3 with unfair terms in October, AskGamblers gives a CasinoRank of 7.5 with 6 complaints, and Trustpilot shows 2.8 of 5 from 309 reviews.
Luxinero Group and a 'Costa Rica' licence nobody can number
BillyBets opened in 2024 on billybets.com as a casino with a sportsbook next to it. AskGamblers names Luxinero Group as the owner and 'Costa Rica Gambling' as the licence, without a regulator body or number. The rules page, a text of 188,515 characters, refers only to 'the company operating the Website' (clause 1.4) and gives no licence. CasinoGuru's record does not state the operator. Nothing in the sources lets a player look up who holds the licence.
The 35 jurisdictions excluded in clause 2.3 include the United Kingdom, the United States, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Malta, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Romania, Russia, China, Venezuela and Cuba. Promotions are further restricted in six places, among them Tunisia and Malaysia. Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Poland and Portugal are not on the list, but a missing entry is not a local licence. Brazil is not on the casino's excluded list, even though Medida Provisoria 1.394/2026, published on 25 September 2026, prohibits fixed-odds betting and online games in Brazil according to the Senado summary, and the welcome bonus page still listed a 20 BRL minimum deposit.
Level 1 pays out €7,000 a month, level 5 pays €75,000
Clause 6.11 gives limits per transaction, per day and per month in euro. Level 1 is €500, €500 and €7,000. Level 2 is €1,000, €2,000 and €25,000. Level 3 is €1,000, €3,000 and €30,000, level 4 is €1,500, €4,000 and €50,000, and level 5 is €1,700, €5,000 and €75,000. US dollar and Swiss franc limits repeat the euro numbers, while the Canadian level 1 limit is 750 per transaction and 10,500 per month. Your level is based on activity in the 90 days before the request (clause 6.12).
Work it through. A €6,000 win on level 1 needs 12 days at €500 a day, while level 2 clears it in 3 days at €2,000. The jump from level 1 to level 2 quadruples the daily cap, so the first VIP step matters more than the last. AskGamblers shows only the level 1 numbers, and its text calls the range €500 a day to €75,000 a month, which spans two different periods.
A Trustpilot reviewer on 1 May 2026 describes the level 1 reality: a €1,750 win, with only 500 a week and 700 a month allowed because the account counted as low level. That is the reviewer's account, and it does not match the 500 per day in the terms.
96 business hours, which is about nine working days
Clause 6.15 says a withdrawal is processed within 96 business hours of the request, or 96 business hours after the last withdrawal was paid, and the finance team works 6 AM to 5 PM GMT, Monday to Friday. At 11 hours a day, 96 business hours is just under nine working days, or about twelve calendar days, before the money leaves. A request on a Friday at 4 PM GMT uses one hour that day and starts the next count on Monday. No more than 3 withdrawals can be pending at once (clause 6.13).
AskGamblers gives faster averages: 0-24 hours for e-wallets, 3-5 days for cards and 3-5 days for bank transfer after a pending time of 0-5 days. It counts 25 deposit methods, 20 withdrawal methods and 14 currencies, while our own list shows 16 currencies including Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Litecoin and Tether. The terms set no fixed minimum withdrawal (clause 6.14 lets the company set one per method), while AskGamblers gives €20 in one place and €10 in another.
Clause 6.8 requires a rollover of the deposit once. If less was wagered, the casino may cancel winnings and keep 10% of the last deposit, with a €0.50 minimum, or 15% when the balance came from a card or bank transfer. Clause 6.7 can decline a withdrawal if the monthly wagering threshold of €20 was not met.
Thirty days to hand over documents, about ten to be checked
The terms (clause 5.1) allow the casino to ask for identity, age, residence and source of funds, which can mean a certified ID, proof of residence and payment statements. Documents are due within 30 days (clause 5.3); non-submission can mean withheld payments, suspension or permanent closure. Checking usually takes about 10 days after a complete answer, and clause 5.5 adds calls or face verification.
AskGamblers says documents are uploaded through the profile and reviewed in up to three business days, and one complaint there says no verification was required, which contradicts the general guidance. The largest verification case is a player with €10,265 on the account after it was closed. The text says about €3,000 was paid and about €6,000 stayed unpaid pending checks. AskGamblers marks it resolved.
Closing the account with money on it voids the money
Clause 3.7 allows closure by email to cs@billybets.com only when there is no balance and no pending withdrawal; otherwise 'all funds are voided'. Clause 9.4 lets the company, on reasonable suspicion of fraud or breach, block the account, close it with related partner sites, void winnings, cancel pending withdrawals, confiscate the real money balance and contact the authorities. After a game play review, clause 9.3 allows revoked promotions or a closed account.
An account that is not used for 180 days becomes inactive and is charged €5 a month, and a balance below €5 is taken whole (clause 6.18). The welcome bonus has its own limits, such as 35x on deposit plus bonus and a €100 maximum bet, which the bonus page covers. One related fact belongs here: deposits by Skrill and Neteller do not qualify for it, and CasinoGuru lists that as its only con in the May 2026 record.
12,000+ games, live dealers and a €12,000,000 tournament
The profile data gives 12,000+ games, and AskGamblers says only thousands, without a provider total. CasinoGuru lists live dealer games among its pros, and the site runs a sportsbook with a five-level VIP club. The promotions hub advertises a Spinoleague tournament with a €12,000,000 prize pool, but its terms are not covered here.
Support is live chat around the clock plus email at cs@billybets.com, in 18 languages according to AskGamblers and CasinoGuru, including German, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian and Polish but not Dutch or Russian. CasinoGuru counts as a pro that the casino publicly answers player feedback, and Trustpilot shows replies to 100% of negative reviews.
Six tools on paper, none on the casino's own page
AskGamblers credits BillyBets with six of ten responsible gambling tools: deposit limit, loss limit, time limit, reality check, self-exclusion and a self-assessment test. It records no wager limit, cool-off, withdrawal lock or self-exclusion register. The casino's own responsible gaming page lists none of these and gives no numbers: self-exclusion is an email, the account is closed 'as soon as practicable', and a break excludes you 'for a while'. It names GamCare, Gamblers Anonymous and Gambling Therapy.
The Trustpilot case from 1 March 2026 shows why the difference matters. A reviewer says €2,000 was lost after a self-exclusion request while promotions kept arriving; a refund was offered and paid. The sources do not show whether limits can be set inside the account, so a player should check before depositing.
From 8.1 to 5.3 at CasinoGuru, 6 of 6 resolved at AskGamblers
CasinoGuru scored BillyBets 8.1 High with fair terms on 8 May 2026. The profile data of 15 October 2026 shows 5.3 Below average, unfair terms and 1 complaint. We do not know what changed, and the two readings come from different dates, so quote neither alone. AskGamblers gives a CasinoRank of 7.5 (7.3 two weeks earlier), a player rating of 9.1 from 19 reviews, and 6 complaints with an average amount of $3,725, an average duration of 9 days and a response time of 2 days.
All six are marked resolved, although the texts describe withheld funds: $900 withdrawn on 9 August, €3,000 pending since 20 July, the €10,265 balance, a kr 45,000 win from 21 June, INR 3,300 requested on 21 and 27 February, and a €1,500 maximum win dispute where the balance was cut to €333. Trustpilot is lower at 2.8 of 5 from 309 reviews, with 47% five-star and 45% one-star, against 3.3 from 262 reviews in the earlier record.
The Trustpilot cases add dated detail: a €90 withdrawal cancelled overnight on 31 March 2026, a cashback of $155 on 4,500 of losses and payout delays on 11 June, about €4,000 left after an account cancellation on 5 July, a €4,300 withdrawal of a winning bet declined on 3 August, and a 300% bonus missing on 28 September that the casino said on 14 October had been added.
Who BillyBets suits at €20, and who should avoid it
It suits a player who deposits €20 to €100, wants slots, live games and sports in one account, cashes out a few hundred euro at a time, and accepts waiting up to 96 business hours. At those sizes the level 1 limit of €500 per day does not bind, and AskGamblers shows 6 of 6 complaints closed.
It does not suit a player who wins more than €7,000 in a month and cannot wait for level 2, anyone who wants to name the licence holder in a dispute, anyone in the 35 excluded jurisdictions or in Brazil, and anyone who relies on built-in limits that the casino's own page does not describe. Before depositing, ask support in writing which VIP level a new account starts on and which limits apply.
