The casino's own terms, CasinoGuru, AskGamblers and Trustpilot, checked in October 2026. If the casino's site says something else, the casino's site is right.
Captain Cooks Casino is a Casino Rewards brand run by Fresh Horizons Limited of Tortola, licensed by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission under licence 00972. Its terms, updated 20 July 2026, carry numbers a player should do the arithmetic on: a $4,000 weekly payout ceiling for large winners, 48 hours of pending time, a 200x play-through on the first two deposit bonuses, a 60-day removal of dormant balances and a $50 or $100 fee on bank transfer withdrawals. CasinoGuru gives a Safety Index of 8.9 (High) with 15 complaints, and Trustpilot shows 4.4 stars from 5,527 reviews.
Fresh Horizons Limited and licence 00972
According to the casino's terms, Captain Cooks Casino is a brand managed by Fresh Horizons Limited, Palm Grove House, P.O. Box 438, Road Town, Tortola, British Virgin Islands, and licensed under the Kahnawake Gaming Commission of Canada, licence number 00972. The home page links a Kahnawake certificate and an eCOGRA certificate. Disputes that the casino cannot settle are referred to eCOGRA as the alternative dispute resolution body, and players may also write to the Kahnawake Gaming Commission.
CasinoGuru lists a longer licence set: Kahnawake, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario and the UK Gambling Commission. It gives the owner as Fresh Horizons Limited and the founding year as 2003. The terms name only the Kahnawake licence, so the other two should be read as CasinoGuru's record, not as something the casino's own terms promise for every player. The brand belongs to the Casino Rewards group, and the terms say a chargeback or disputed deposit locks every account the player holds on the Casino Rewards network.
48 hours pending, then the next business day
The terms say withdrawn funds are held in pending for 48 hours. After that the withdrawal is processed on the following business day. Until it is processed, the player can reverse it in part or in full. For a request made on a Friday afternoon the 48 hours end on Sunday afternoon, so processing lands on Monday at the earliest, before the payment method's own transfer time starts.
AskGamblers lists its own times: e-wallets 0 to 72 hours, cards 1 to 5 days, bank transfers 6 to 10 days and a pending period of 48 to 96 hours. Combining the 48-hour pending period with a 6 to 10 day bank transfer gives a wait of roughly 8 to 12 calendar days. The terms add that verification can delay processing, and that payment times after release are beyond the casino's control.
$4,000 a week for big winners, and the fees on bank transfers
Players who win a sum substantially greater than their total purchases across the Casino Rewards casinos can withdraw a maximum of $4,000 per week. The casino may raise or lower that figure at its discretion. A $20,000 win would take 5 weeks at that rate. Beyond this, the terms say minimum and maximum transaction, daily, weekly and monthly limits exist and vary by country and withdrawal method, and a payout may be split into daily portions over successive weekdays.
Direct bank transfer withdrawals carry a fee: $50, €35 or £30 under 3,000 units, and $100, €70 or £60 over 3,000. On a $500 withdrawal the $50 fee is 10%. On $2,900 it is about 1.7%, and on $3,100 the $100 fee is about 3.2%. When a withdrawal has to be converted to another currency, the terms apply the average daily interbank rate plus a 2.5% fee, which is $25 on $1,000. The casino charges nothing on deposits, though banks and payment providers might. CasinoGuru counts 60 payment methods, but the names are not listed in the sources.
Verification can be asked after the deposit, not only before a withdrawal
The terms reserve the right to ask for documents after deposits and before a withdrawal. The list is a passport, driving licence or government ID, a bank statement or utility bill no older than 3 months, and proof that the player owns the cards, bank accounts or e-wallets used, such as a copy of the card, a bank statement or wallet screenshots. Notarised copies can be demanded. Source-of-funds checks are also allowed. Refusing any of this allows the casino to void winnings, restrict deposits and withdrawals, take the balance and lock the account. The terms set no deadline and no turnover threshold for these checks.
Dormant balances removed within 60 days, and a 6-month complaint window
An account is dormant if the player made no wager, deposit or withdrawal in a period that the casino decides. The terms do not state the length. Once dormant, balances can be removed within a maximum of up to 60 days, bonus funds are forfeited and the cash can be returned on request if the player passes verification. Unused promotional bonuses are forfeited 60 days after registration.
Complaints must be submitted within 6 months of the event. The 'irregular play' clause lets the casino withhold withdrawals or confiscate winnings for a single bet equal to or above 25% of the bonus before wagering is met (a $25 bet on a $100 bonus), use of double-up, even-money bets on Sic Bo, Craps and Roulette, autoplay to meet wagering, or withdrawing deposited funds before the bonus is redeemed. Gains from currency-exchange arbitrage are forfeited. The terms also include a clause in which the player consents to use of player data for AI and machine learning training. The restricted-country list is not given in the terms or the FAQ, and AskGamblers says only that many countries are restricted.
200x on the first two bonuses
The welcome offer is 100 chances on the Mega Money Wheel for a $5 first deposit, at $0.10 a spin, which is $10 of play. Deposits two to five bring 100% up to $100, 50% up to $150, 25% up to $125 and 100% up to $100. The first and second deposit bonuses carry a 200x play-through. The terms' own example: a $100 bonus means about $20,000 of slot bets. From the third deposit it is 30x, so a full $150 bonus needs $4,500. Slots count 100%, while table games, live casino and other games count 2%, so $20,000 of required play would become $1,000,000 at a table. Withdrawing cash from the first or second deposit forfeits the remaining bonus. The bonus page has the full terms.
37 providers, a stated 96% to 99.9% RTP and Casino Rewards loyalty
CasinoGuru counts 37 game providers. The home page shows popular games, new releases, early access titles and a live casino. The casino's Highest Win Rate Guarantee says it offers the highest available RTP version of each game, typically 96% to 99.9%; that is the casino's own claim and no independent check is cited. The loyalty program is run through Casino Rewards, with VIP perks, daily jackpots and Status Match.
Safety Index 8.9, 15 complaints, 4.4 stars from 5,527 reviews
CasinoGuru's Safety Index is 8.9, in its High band, and it records 15 complaints. AskGamblers gives a CasinoRank of 6.9 and a player rating of 6.1 from 42 ratings. Trustpilot shows 4.4 stars from 5,527 reviews on the captaincooks.casino profile. Case details of the complaints are not in the sources, so the figures show volume, not a pattern.
Responsible gambling tools run through support: deposit limits (daily, weekly or monthly, set through support, increases effective after 24 hours), cooling-off from 24 hours to 6 weeks and a 6-month self-exclusion. AskGamblers also lists a self-assessment test and the self-exclusion register. The minimum age is 19. Live chat is available 24/7, according to CasinoGuru.
Who Captain Cooks suits and who should avoid it
It suits a player who wants a $5 entry point, can wait out the 48-hour pending period, and is happy to use an e-wallet rather than a bank transfer. It also suits someone who values eCOGRA dispute handling and an 8.9 Safety Index.
It is a poor match for a player aiming to clear the 200x bonus, for anyone expecting to withdraw more than $4,000 a week after a large win, for someone who wants a $500 bank transfer and would pay the $50 fee, 10% of it, and for a player who may be idle for long enough to hit the undefined dormancy rule.
