Our verdict

Limewin is legit, with caveats. It is licensed, but its safety score or terms leave room for problems.

How Limewin got 3.9/5

The rating is calculated the same way for every casino, from three independent sources:

  • CasinoGuru Safety Index7.5/10weight 60%

Combined: 7.5/10, shown as 3.9/5 on a fixed scale that is the same for every casino.

One source has no data for Limewin, so the remaining weights are scaled up.

How we rate casinos: the full method

Limewin is run by Metlait SRL of Costa Rica under licence 0000064 from the Tobique Gaming Commission, and its own terms (version 1.1, last updated 10 March 2026) set hard numbers: withdrawals of €4,000 a day, €16,000 a week and €50,000 a month, a 3x turnover on every deposit, a €10 monthly fee after 12 idle months and a KYC review that may take up to 30 working days. The outside record is thin and contradictory: CasinoGuru shows a Safety Index of 7.5 in its October 2026 record and 8.1 in an older one, with 1 complaint against 535. AskGamblers and Trustpilot have no page. This review sets the clauses against those records.

Metlait SRL, Costa Rica, licence 0000064 from Tobique

Clause 1.1 of the terms names Metlait SRL, registered in Costa Rica under number 3-102-911867, as owner and operator of limewin.com, and gives licence no. 0000064 from the Tobique Gaming Commission. The footer and the about-us page repeat the licence number. One text lower on the homepage says instead that the casino is regulated by the Curaçao Gaming Control Board, which does not match the terms. CasinoGuru lists Metlait SRL as owner, an establishment year of 2020 and a revenue tier under €1,000,000, and adds a second licence, from the Anjouan Offshore Finance Authority, number ALSI-202509073-FI2. CasinoGuru gives the same company and the same Anjouan number for CrownSlots, so the two brands appear to share an operator.

Disputes go to arbitration in Costa Rica only, and the player waives court action elsewhere (clause 17). After the casino's own complaint process, the terms name the ADR body EGIS, reachable at disputes@egis-adr.com, which operates under Tobique rules (15.5). Server logs are final (15.3) and any claim must be filed within 1 year (13).

A restricted list of about 225 entries, with Estonia, Poland and Brazil on it

Clause 2.4 lists the places where real-money play is forbidden. It runs to roughly 225 entries and includes the United States, the United Kingdom, Spain, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Greece, Estonia, Poland, Brazil, Mexico, Sweden, Russia, Cyprus, Malta, Portugal and Costa Rica itself. The New Brunswick and Ontario provinces of Canada are named too, and the Tobique Gaming Commission is listed by CasinoGuru as based in New Brunswick, Canada. Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Finland, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand are not on the list. A player who breaks it has no right to a refund or a withdrawal.

Two further layers apply. The bonus terms exclude Croatia and Serbia from deposit bonuses (2a) and Finland from deposit-based bonuses (2b), and Sweden gets no bonuses or VIP rewards at all (2.5). VPN use to hide a location may end in confiscated winnings (3.2).

€4,000 a day, €16,000 a week: what a €20,000 win looks like

Clause 11.8 sets rolling limits of €4,000 per day, €16,000 per 7 days and €50,000 per 30 days, with dollar, Canadian, Australian and New Zealand equivalents. Progressive jackpot wins are paid in full and do not count. Take a €20,000 win: four days at the daily maximum reach €16,000, and the last €4,000 has to wait until the 7-day window moves, so about 8 calendar days. A €50,000 balance needs the whole 30-day window, and at the weekly rate alone it would take 3.1 weeks.

On the cashier side, the payments page shows card deposits of €20 to €4,000 (two rows) and €20 to €1,000 (third row), bank transfer deposits of €20 to €5,000, and card withdrawals of €10 to €4,000 in 1 to 3 banking days. The homepage text promises casino-side processing within 12 hours and crypto payouts that are usually instant; the terms are more cautious and aim for 72 hours after approval (11.6). Bank transfers are processed within 3 business days and no USD bank payout exists (11.10). Intermediary banks may take up to €16 (11.11), which on the €10 minimum withdrawal is more than the whole amount. Our catalogue lists 0 to 24 hours for e-wallets, 1 to 7 days for banks and 1 to 5 days for cards.

  • Deposit minimum: €20 on all methods; third-party deposits lose their winnings (10.3)
  • Withdrawal minimum: €10 per the payments page and homepage text
  • Card payouts: personal card from a supported country, up to the net deposit refunded to the card (11.3, 11.9)
  • No-deposit winnings are capped at €50 (11.7)

Up to 30 working days of KYC and a two-week phone deadline

The KYC policy states that document review may take up to 30 working days from the moment all requested documents arrive. At five working days a week that is about six weeks. Withdrawals stay pending until verification is complete (8.5). The terms add a second clock: if the casino cannot reach the player by phone or email within 2 weeks of a withdrawal request, the account is locked and the withdrawal cancelled (8.5), and a failed verification within 2 weeks of the request lets it terminate the account and confiscate funds (9.3).

The documents are a passport or driving licence, a utility bill or bank statement and proof of the payment method, all in Latin or Cyrillic script. A player whose papers use another script may be asked for a video showing the ID (9.5). Bitcoin players must upload ID before any deposit or bet (2.7). Expired documents or a mismatched name or address allow the casino to close the account and forfeit the balance (18.4). CasinoGuru's editorial lists KYC timelines among the questionable clauses.

Three times the deposit, then €10 a month after a year idle

Clause 9.7 requires every deposit to be wagered 3 times before the money can be withdrawn; otherwise the casino may charge a processing fee or refuse the payout. A €20 minimum deposit therefore means €60 of bets, and a €100 deposit means €300. This applies with or without a bonus.

An account is dormant after 12 consecutive months without login or play. From the following month the casino may take €10 a month, or the whole balance if it is below €10 (12.1 and 12.2). A €25 balance disappears in three months. Refund requests must arrive within 24 hours of the transaction (14.1). The anti-abuse clause 9.4 lists a deposits-to-bonus ratio above 50%, lowering stakes after a large win and delaying play as reasons to void a bonus and its winnings, and clause 7.8 lets the casino ban an account without notice or explanation.

Two welcome packages on one page

The homepage widget shows a 400% package of up to 3,500 plus 200 free spins in four steps: 100% up to 1,000 with 150 spins, 50% up to 750 with 50 spins, 30% up to 1,000 and 20% up to 750. A text further down the same page still describes a two-step package of 100% up to €500 with 50 spins and 50% up to €150 with 25 spins, which is also what CasinoGuru records. The bonus page has the details for the offer; the terms that apply to all of them are 40x wagering, a €5 maximum bet and a €20 minimum deposit.

On the older package, 40x on a €500 bonus is €20,000 of bets, and at €5 a spin that is at least 4,000 spins, or about 286 a day across the 14 days the homepage text allows. Slots count 100% and table games, video poker, roulette and crash games count 5% (4a). Withdrawing before the requirement is met forfeits the bonus and its winnings (1f). A running bonus is also cancelled the moment the bonus balance drops to €0.05, so there is no way to grind down to the last cent. The bonus terms scale the figures by currency: the minimum deposit is EUR 20 or 25 AUD or NZD, the maximum bet is EUR 5 or 8 AUD or NZD, and the no-deposit win cap is EUR 50 or 75 AUD or NZD.

10,000 games or 2,000: ten VIP levels paid in slot bets

The homepage text claims over 10,000 games from more than 105 providers, while the about-us page still says over 2,000 games from 20 providers. CasinoGuru counts 105 providers in an older record and 116 in October 2026, and names live studios Evolution Gaming, Ezugi and Lucky Streak.

The VIP programme has 10 levels from Rookie, at 50 points for €5, to Elite, at 1,500,000 points for €50,000. Points come only from slot bets, 1 point per €25, so Elite means €37,500,000 of slot play, a return of about 0.13%. Rookie costs €1,250 of bets for €5, or 0.4%. Table and live games earn nothing, and rewards carry 3x wagering. On the same maths, the Beginner level means €12,500 of slot bets for a €20 reward, a return of 0.16%, while Rookie gives back 0.4%.

535 complaints or 1: CasinoGuru's two counts

CasinoGuru's older record shows a Safety Index of 8.1 (High), a user rating of Great from 10 reviews and 535 complaints (7 open, 142 unresolved, 370 resolved, 16 rejected). Its 15 October 2026 record shows a Safety Index of 7.5 (Above average), T&C labelled somewhat unfair with 5 issues, and 1 complaint, resolved. The editorial in the older version speaks of zero direct complaints but 12 from related casinos, so the 535 cannot be read as Limewin's own. Listed cases in that older file include a German player's €800 withdrawal, rejected three times and paid after a review on 5 June 2025, though it is not confirmed that these cases belong to Limewin itself and not to a related casino.

AskGamblers has no review page, Trustpilot has no profile and LCB has no working Limewin page. With a single outside source and two incompatible counts, the track record cannot be called either clean or poor. Responsible gambling is similarly unclear: the casino's own /responsible-gaming page showed an error on 31 October 2026, its homepage text lists deposit limits, session time limits and self-exclusion, and CasinoGuru lists only deposit limit and self-exclusion.

Who Limewin suits and who should pass

It fits a player in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Finland or Ireland who deposits from the €20 minimum, plays slots and expects withdrawals well under €4,000 a day. Such a player has 24/7 live chat and can use cards, e-wallets and seven coins.

It suits poorly a player who expects a quick verification, since 30 working days is the stated ceiling, or one who may leave money idle for a year, because of the €10 monthly fee. A player who wins more than €16,000 in a week should expect the payout to run over at least 8 calendar days. Anyone in the restricted list, including Estonia, Poland, Brazil, Spain, France and the Netherlands, is excluded by clause 2.4, and a Finnish or Croatian player has no deposit bonus.
