Our verdict

NetBet is legit, with caveats. It is licensed, but its safety score or terms leave room for problems.

How NetBet got 3.4/5

The rating is calculated the same way for every casino, from three independent sources:

  • CasinoGuru Safety Index6.1/10weight 60%
  • AskGamblers CasinoRank7.1/10weight 30%

Combined: 6.4/10, shown as 3.4/5 on a fixed scale that is the same for every casino.

One source has no data for NetBet, so the remaining weights are scaled up.

How we rate casinos: the full method

NetBet is a 2001 brand from NetBet Enterprises Ltd, licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA/B2C/126/2006), the UK Gambling Commission, Alderney and Romania. The money rules come from the review sites: €10 minimum deposit and withdrawal, a cashout limit of €100,000 a month, a 1.5% fee from €500 and a 20% turnover rule on e-wallet deposits. CasinoGuru gives a Safety Index of 6.1, Below average, and finds 3 problems in the terms. AskGamblers has 209 complaints, 188 of them resolved. Every figure below is attributed to a review site.

NetBet Enterprises Ltd and four named licensing regimes

CasinoGuru names NetBet Enterprises Ltd as owner, gives 2001 as the establishment year and lists MGA licence MGA/B2C/126/2006, marked as verified, with a revenue tier above €20 million. AskGamblers also gives 2001 and lists the Malta Gaming Authority, the UK Gambling Commission, the Alderney Gambling Control Commission and the Romanian ONJN, without numbers. LCB lists Italy, Malta, Romania, the United Kingdom, France and Greece. LCB adds that the brand was formerly Casino770 and was renamed NetBet in 2013, and that the French licence covers the sportsbook only, with casino play prohibited for French players.

Different licences mean different rulebooks. The same brand runs a UK offer with 100 no-wagering spins, a euro offer at 30x and a Romanian package, according to the bonus notes. The terms for the international euro site are not among the sources used here. LCB says players from Estonia are not accepted, and no source gives a full restricted list. Brazil is a separate case: NetBet is not on the list of 188 authorised betting brands published in September 2026, and since 25 September 2026 Medida Provisoria 1.394/2026 prohibits fixed-odds betting and online games there (Senado summary).

€100,000 a month and a 1.5% fee from €500

LCB gives a minimum deposit and a minimum withdrawal of £/€10 and a cashout limit of £/€100,000 monthly. AskGamblers confirms €10 as the minimum withdrawal and €100,000 per month. No per-transaction or daily limit appears in either source. A €30,000 win would fit inside the monthly figure, while a €250,000 win would take at least 3 months if the limit is applied.

Fees are disputed. LCB records a 1.5% fee on withdrawals of 500 CAD, CHF, EUR, GBP or USD and above, which makes €500 cost €7.50 and €5,000 cost €75. AskGamblers' details table says there is no fee, while its text says withdrawals over €500 incur 1.5%, so the page contradicts itself. Both sources agree on a separate rule: e-wallet deposits need 20% turnover before withdrawal. A €200 Skrill deposit therefore needs €40 of play before the money can leave.

Times differ between the two sources. AskGamblers records e-wallets at 24 to 72 hours, bank transfers at 1 to 10 days, cards at 1 to 6 days, a pending time of 0 to 48 hours and no weekend cashouts. LCB records pending of up to 2 hours, e-wallets in a few minutes and cards in up to 24 hours. Taking AskGamblers' worst case, 2 days pending plus 10 days for a bank transfer means 12 calendar days. LCB names more than 30 payment methods plus 28 more, in EUR, GBP, USD, CHF, DKK, BRL, RON and BTC. CasinoGuru counts 15 methods.

  • Minimum deposit and withdrawal: £/€10 (LCB)
  • Cashout limit: £/€100,000 per month (LCB, AskGamblers)
  • Withdrawal fee: 1.5% from 500 in the main currencies (LCB), disputed on AskGamblers
  • E-wallet deposits: 20% turnover before withdrawal (LCB)

24 hours or 24 days: the verification conflict

LCB lists the documents as an ID card, passport or driving licence, proof of address and proof that the payment method belongs to the player, sent by email or through a page on the site. The same LCB page gives a KYC time of 24 hours and a document verification time of 24 days, which cannot both be right, and it gives no trigger amount. AskGamblers has no KYC section, but complainants there mention submitting a driving licence, a bank statement, photo ID, selfies and proof of address.

The difference matters for the amounts involved. A player who requests a first withdrawal of €1,000 and meets the document request needs the 24-hour figure to hold; at 24 days the money waits for most of a month before the 1 to 10 day bank transfer starts. Trustpilot reviews of netbet.com from March 2017 say a photo of the bank card was demanded before a withdrawal. They are 9 years old and describe the old site, so we treat them as history.

Three terms CasinoGuru marks as unfair

CasinoGuru rates the terms and conditions as Somewhat unfair, with 3 issues found. The record does not list which three clauses they are, so the three cannot be named. What the other sources do show are the e-wallet turnover rule of 20%, the 1.5% fee and the withdrawal limit. The bonus notes add that the UK offer pays winnings as cash with a £100 maximum win, and that Neteller and Skrill deposits do not count toward the euro offer.

The bonus is covered on its own page. In short, the euro offer is 100% up to €200 plus 10 free spins with a €10 minimum deposit and 30x wagering on the bonus (code NBWELCOME), and the UK offer is 100 spins on Big Bass Splash with no wagering.

7,175 slots, but three different provider counts

LCB counts 7,175 slots from more than 120 providers, with live games such as Crazy Time, Dream Catcher and Monopoly Live, and poker on the iPoker network with €5 million in guaranteed monthly prizes. CasinoGuru counts 82 providers and AskGamblers 102, so three sources give three numbers. LCB credits iTech Labs as a certifier. Estonian players are limited to games from 8 providers, including Amatic, Booming, Habanero, Novomatic, Playtech, Quickspin, Red Rake and Yggdrasil.

Support is thin on the English side. AskGamblers records email and live chat from 08:00 to 22:00 GMT, in English only. LCB lists German, Greek, English, Spanish, Portuguese, Romanian and one further language, has no phone line and notes that chat is not around the clock. CasinoGuru does not flag 24-hour live chat. AskGamblers lists deposit, wager, loss and time limits, self-exclusion, cool-off, reality check and a self-exclusion register as present, and a self-assessment test and withdrawal lock as missing.

209 complaints, 188 resolved, and what the big ones were

AskGamblers shows a CasinoRank of 7.1, a player rating of 5.6 from 94 reviews and 209 complaints. Its stats box says 188 of 199 are resolved, while the comparison section says 188 of 209. The average amount is $2,894, the average response 2 days and the average duration 55 days. CasinoGuru's count is smaller: 49 complaints, of which 1 is open, 10 unresolved, 12 resolved and 26 rejected, and the casino is not blacklisted (the record of 16 October 2026).

Three AskGamblers cases show the range. A player waited about 14 days for withdrawals totalling €49,250 with no contact from the casino, and the case was resolved. Another had an account holding $30,000 closed for 30 days in September and October 2021, a $32,707 complaint that was resolved. A third, £950, concerns an account closed with the casino keeping both deposits and withdrawals, and it remains unresolved. At 55 days on average, a complaint takes about 8 weeks.

Trustpilot is not current for the casino domain. netbet.com has 1,722 reviews with no score shown, 0 in the last 12 months, and the page says reviews can no longer be left because the website closed. The latest are from February and March 2017. Other domains of the group score higher: netbet.co.uk 4.0 from 2,917 reviews and netbet.ro 4.9 from 3,806, according to the record. LCB's own readers give 3.1/5 from 585 votes, ranking NetBet 286th of 1,736.

Who NetBet suits and who should look elsewhere

NetBet suits a player with a UK, Maltese or Romanian-regulated account who withdraws under €100,000 a month, uses a card or e-wallet and prefers a brand that has existed since 2001, with 188 of 209 AskGamblers complaints resolved.

It is a poor fit for someone who wants an official rulebook quoted in full, since this review does not cover it, for a player who deposits by e-wallet and expects to leave after a short session because of the 20% turnover rule, for withdrawals of €500 and above where the 1.5% fee may apply, and for anyone in Estonia, France (casino) or Brazil. Support is English-only on AskGamblers' account with chat closing at 22:00 GMT.
