Paying a casino with Pix from Brazil is no longer something any operator can do legally. Medida Provisória 1.394, published in Brazil's official gazette on 25 September 2026, prohibits fixed-odds betting and online games in Brazil, including sites offered from abroad, and bars banks and payment participants from processing bet payments. Sites had to go offline 10 days after publication, on 5 October, and all betting licences ended 30 days after it, on 25 October 2026. 29 of the 331 casinos we review still list Pix. This page explains what the law says, what those casino listings show, and which Pix facts the sources leave open.
MP 1.394: three dates that changed Pix at casinos
The Brazilian Senate's summary of the measure, dated 29 September 2026, sets out the timeline. The MP was published on 25 September 2026. Betting sites and apps had 10 days to go offline, which ended on 5 October. Existing licences were extinguished 30 days after publication, which fell on 25 October 2026. Banks were given 7 days to return refunds, preferably to the account the money came from.
It covers fixed-odds betting and online games, and it applies when the service is offered from abroad to people in Brazil. Under the same summary, banks and participants in payment arrangements may not process, settle or enable bet payment transactions, with the details to be regulated by the Banco Central do Brasil. For a player in Brazil, this means a Pix payment to a casino is a transaction the banks are now barred from handling, whether the casino is Brazilian or offshore.
Congress must still convert the measure into law; one second-hand source, focusgn.com, gives 23 November 2026 as the first voting deadline. What happened to the MP after 25 October 2026 is not known to us at the time of writing, so this page describes the text as published, not a final outcome.
What the 2024 Portaria 615 allowed, and why it no longer applies
In our data, 25 of the 29 casinos that accept Pix also pay withdrawals to it. The fastest crypto and e-wallet payouts come from BitStarz (0-1 hours).
Before the ban, Portaria SPA/MF 615 of 16 April 2024, article 3, paragraph 1, permitted Pix, TED transfers, debit or prepaid cards and transfers within the same bank. It prohibited cash, boletos, cheques, crypto, credit cards, payments by third parties and unregistered accounts. Deposits and withdrawals had to run between an account in the bettor's own name and the operator's account. We have this from second-hand reports by canaltech.com.br and advennt.com, not from the gazette itself.
Those rules described a licensed market that ended on 25 October 2026. An earlier version of this page pointed readers to licensed .bet.br operators as the safe choice. That advice is outdated and has been removed.
Two more rules belong to the same story. Law 14.790, article 29, banned any advance, bonus or prior advantage for authorised operators; the Câmara's consolidated text marks article 29 as revoked by MP 1.394. A second-hand report from acessa.com says Resolution CMN 5.320 of June 2026 requires accounts of illegal operators to be blocked within 24 hours.
29 of 331 casinos we review still list Pix
Our partner list holds 107 casinos. 19 list Pix as a deposit method and 17 as a withdrawal method, about 18% of the list. Among the 224 review-only casinos we track, 10 list Pix: Blaze, Wazamba, Play Fortuna, Neon54, Jackbit, Rolletto, 888 Casino, Jackpot City, Booi and NetBet, and 8 of them also pay out by Pix. That is 29 casinos in total, or under 9% of the 331.
Four of them take Pix deposits but list no Pix withdrawal: Fairspin and Vulkanspiele among the partners, Wazamba and Jackbit among the review-only casinos.
Bitstarz, Ice Casino and Jackpot City list Pix but also have Brazil (BR) in their blocked countries. Several others hold only offshore licences: Wazamba in Anjouan, and Neon54, Play Fortuna, Rolletto and Booi in Curaçao. Blaze is the one casino where the sources list a Brazilian SPA/MF licence next to its Curaçao licence; its status after 25 October 2026 is unknown to us, and under the MP all licences ended on that date.

The times below come from each casino's e-wallet withdrawal time. They apply to the casino as a whole, not to Pix specifically. Of the 19 partner casinos with Pix, 8 state 0-24 hours: 1xBet, 888Starz, Vavada, Fairspin, Casinia, Rabona, Slotystake and Spinanga. 4 state 0-1 hours: Rainbet, BC.Game, Betsson and Bitstarz. Nomini and Librabet state 24-72 hours and Mostbet 0-72 hours.
The slowest are Mr Pacho at 3-5 days, Boomerang.bet at 0-5 days and Ice Casino at 0-96 hours; Vulkanspiele states no time. Among review-only casinos, Play Fortuna and Booi state 0-2 hours and NetBet 24-72 hours.
From $1,000 a day to €1,000,000: casino withdrawal caps
How much you can take out is set by the casino, per casino rather than per method. Vavada allows $1,000 a day, $5,000 a week and $10,000 a month, so a $4,000 balance takes 4 days to withdraw. Boomerang.bet, Casinia, Rabona, Nomini, Librabet and Spinanga cap at €500 a day and €7,000 a month: €3,000 takes 6 days, and anything above €7,000 runs into a second month. Mr Pacho adds a €500 per-transaction limit on top of the same daily and monthly caps.
Slotystake allows €15,000 a month, and Fairspin, 1xBet, Betsson and Bitstarz list no per-transaction limit. Among review-only casinos, Rolletto caps at €7,500 a week and €15,000 a month, so a €20,000 balance needs more than one month; Jackpot City allows £10,000 a day and Blaze €1,000,000 a day.
What is not stated about Pix itself
The Banco Central do Brasil runs Pix, This page gives no launch date, no fee for individuals, no operating hours, no settlement time, no transaction or night limits, no details of the MED refund mechanism and no user numbers.
No casino states a Pix-specific minimum deposit or a casino fee for Pix. No casino we review excludes Pix from its welcome bonus; the only related note is that Legzo does not offer Pix to Estonian players, together with Boleto Bancário, Interac, Neosurf and Piastrix.
Searches for "cassino pix" fell 90%
Google Keyword Planner data for October 2025 to September 2026 puts "cassino pix" in Brazil's 1 million to 10 million monthly bucket, shown as 5,000,000, with a year-on-year change of -90%. "cassinos que pagam via pix" had about 5,000 searches a month. Most related queries show -90% to -100% or no change, which matches the ban, though the buckets are rough.
